Travelling with richlink on our Annual Caravan Geocaching road trip, using geocaching as our guide. After 3 months on the geotrail, we're heading west towards home, gathering a few more smilies as we go. We love visiting these out of the way places. Thanks for placing this one DISK and enticing us away from the main drag.TNCU

Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state of WA on a SA caching foray. After being in this beautiful State for nigh on three months it is time for us to head back home. Grabbing some random caches as we make our way towards Ceduna. A bit off the beaten track but our kind of caching. Thanks for the hide.

Found at 10:32 AM in the company of The Morris.Camped at Wudinna showgrounds and today we went off on a huge trip into the Gawler NP. We are travelling with Pprass and have now set up at the well appointed Wudinna Showgrounds for a couple of days. Today was chilly and overcast but we packed our delicious lunch, grabbed some buns from the bakery and headed out to the Gawler Ranges for a look. Lots of emus and kangaroos trying to race the car.We had thought we had already seen the lake after our very long drive in but then as we crested the hill we saw the real one - what a great spot for a cache. Thanks for the tour around the area DISK

It was nice to get away from it all and find a sandy track to a cache.
Gets a fav for not being a mint tin. A cache that looked like a cache Big Grin Love it. And a shallow pool of water in the lake too!

Many thanks for the cache hide and ongoing care and maintenance DISK . Cool

Country, Coffee, Cats, Champagne, Chocolate, and Caching...
Careful caching as always with Jack helping, wherever we go.
It's a dangerous world filled with rusty old mint tins and objects falling from trees Surprised
...... but a cache a day still keeps the boredom away Wink

--------

Most of our caches are logged using the resources of gsak, garmin, and androids, occasionally AI too! (And a little rubber stamp Wink )

----------
Make sure that Travel Bugs are the Only bugs you share and pass on Wink (Covid cancels caching!)
Keep a safe distance - clean and cache the countryside Big Grin

It's awesome of all those placing quality caches out and about around our country areas,
in sensible safe places and containers especially! - it keeps our game fun, and interesting Cool

Of course we do appreciate if you actually did read all this extra addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, or so we've been told! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log Wink Maybe if I worked out where it is I could do it and go back to normal logs again ! If you find the challenge let me know and perhaps we can put an end to these long logs !!!

Big Grin [:o)] Wink

The end. For now...

... until next time! Wink

I stuffed up with my list (not properly downloaded) so cache was not on my iPhone. Luckily I was in company of Turnarounds and we found the little critter. We drove around the lake which was "quite interesting" in some places (mainly soft sand - we had let down the tyre pressures however). Thanks DISK.

After doing a complete lap of the park i found myself here. The road down to the cache wasn't bad. After the sand gets more soft. Drove out via sturt's track to the nearby campsite. Surprised this one doesn't get more visits, the view of the lake as you go around was nice.
Day 10
Mount Ive Station to Gawler Rangers National Park
This trip saw me travel to Maralinga to do the tour of the nuclear test site then up the Googs track, past Lake Gairdner on to Mount Ive Station, then in to the Gawler Rangers and finally hiking up Mount Remarkable before heading home.

Found with e.gregory1 during an eventful trip that saw us traverse Goog's Track, visit some remote and desolate outback towns and tour the Gawler Ranges, camping out at Nalara Rock, Wymbring Rocks, Lake Gairdner and Lake Gilles CP. Very happy and surprised to be only the second visitors to this cache after many months since placement! Thanks for the cache DISK!

FeatherWaite and I made a bit of a detour to find this one as we headed home from Lake Gairdner. Fortunately the tracks were reasonably dry and we navigated quickly to GZ. I imagine it would be a bit more challenging here after a bit of rain though!

I recall coming in here once before about 15 years ago while exploring Pinkawillinie and the Gawler Ranges. What a great location!

We were surprised to be only the second finders since it was published 9 months ago!

Thanks DISK for the cache. A favourite point from me.
