In Woodend today. A short walk was the order. This was our 3rd stop. Co-ords were spot on. A grass fire had just been controlled near GZ. There was 6 Fire trucks in attendance. Nice size cache, and great placement.
Thanks **Woodwhitty**

Found by Aussie Train Driver 25/02/2020, find number 1524.
This was a quick find on an afternoon walk along the creek in Woodend. I visited this spot about a decade ago with some friends when I was in high school. It was nice to revisit the area today. The cache was a quick find and quite exposed so I used some natural camo to hide it a bit better after signing the log. TFTC.

Ran into local dog walker who got the dogs to cool off in the water

There are some caches that photos just don't do justice.
It doesn't capture the birds chirping overhead. The major Mitchell cockatoo wandering the path out of frame. The insects in the creek. The warm spring sun and slight breeze.
You just have to be here.

What a delightful trail for a walk and to find a few caches on, I continued the walk along the trail after finding a couple back toward the start of the trail. I'm now quite some distance from my vehicle, maybe I should have moved it closer, oh well I will get my steps up today. Continuing my quest to complete the streak souvenir, I ventured down from Bendigo to grab a few of these.
Thanks Woodwhitty for adding to the adventure.

Staying in the area and out grabbing just a few finds, while exploring the area.Today I caught up with Snap Happy and a few laughs and catch up, while making a number of goods finds.
We are smashing these ones out.
Thanks Woodwhitty for all the effort of placing the cache for us to find and doing the maintenance to keep it in play

Out cleaning up some Gisborne area caches to complete the Mystery at the Museum souvenir.
Out caching with *Happy Feet*
A nice drive through the area with some caches easier to find than others. Managed to smash out these caches in good time.
Thanks for the cache Woodwhitty. Appreciate your efforts.

The kids are loving finding these and swapping their treasures for other people’s.
GZ for me showed as being a little way off. But after using the title it was a lot easier to find. Nice finding a reasonable size cache too. TFTC.
Out with Bunadoorian on this cool but sunny afternoon. The neighbours had just started their bonfire up. What a great spot for a regular cache. TFTC woodwhitty
We had trouble finding this and had to look at the log for tips...then found it in a matter of seconds.
Found this one nice and easy, which tree is it however has me stumped!! Love your work, thankyou for bringing me here.
Woodend is such a pretty place and this is a fantastic way of a mini tour.

Firstly, apologies for the lateness in logging.
Despite my tardiness, you can be assured I enjoyed each and every cache found and not found.
Apologies if this is a generic log, my memory is good, but not that good.
On this day I was out with Sorceysal and Tessie the geodog
Thanks again Woodwhitty

Out and about with Bogonghazy and geodog Tess in great weather for caching. The plan is to clear up some of the new caches in Gisborne and Woodend.
Not a bike hike for us today but a great walk on a lovely day. Log signed and now to give Tess a swim. Thanks Woodwhitty

Away for a long weekend of caching with Freddo and Four Fun.
Over 300 caches in 4 days means that the logs will be mainly generic.
The main target of our mission was to finish off the Mt Disappointment series. We achieved our target along with other caches as we headed east and then west.
My apologies for the generic logs.

Away for an extended long weekend of caching with Freddo and Team Waldron.
The main target was the Dad's Driving Series, and it was definately a fun exercise collecting the series but with that completed we focused on some other caches and making our way back to SA, very slowly [^]
This was one of the fun stops along the way
Cheers & TFTH Woodwhitty

On our way to check out Turpins Falls, we thought we'd cruise through Woodend and see what this quaint little town has to offer. What a lovely walk for these three caches! We loved wandering along the track in the cool of the morning, all three were found pretty easily. Thanks for the cache Woodwhitty.

Huge trees at gz with lots of potential hiding spots but it didn't take to long to spot the nice large container. Thanks for the cache Woodwhitty.
Found on our way to Seymour today on an family adventure. We welcomed the chance to get out of the car for a walk along the creek. All is well with the hide. TFTC Woodwhitty.
Found by Mary & David at 1219. Another spot along the path in this pretty area. Delighted to learn that it is well used by local clubs and Scouts. A nice big container, too. Our thanks to Woodwhitty.
A great spot with some history to read about.
We were also impressed by the rare local gums having never seen them before.
Cheers Woodwhitty, thanks for bringing us here.

A simple find at GZ here today as it's tough to miss something of this size. Speaking of which it is nice to see larger geocache containers rather than a full series of mint tins like down in Melbourne.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for this cache here today as we walked around town collecting nearly a dozen or so geocaches. Such a pleasant town to get around.

Take East Street, then Anne Street as Tennyson is blocked off.
Hint: possums retreat

It took us a little bit to find this cache but our pa found it on Easter Saturday.
I have run these tracks many times, however only being new to geocaching did not realise that there was hidden treasure along the way. One of the biggest we have found. Beautiful spot. Thanks for the cache.
A quick find without hardship, I found the lid was the hardest part to get off, got it though tftc
Suscoe was heading homewards today on a glorious late summer's day.
Sunshine everywhere but a few clouds and a strong wind heralded a southerly change which hit Geelong just after we arrived home.
The countryside is so dry as is the way of late summer.
A great range of caches was located today on both sides of the divide.
Thanks to Woodwhitty for this hide, a lovely walking trail.
No one about here while we were visiting.

A somewhat unplanned visit to Woodend, revealed some intriguing caches and places- the address of some not unlike the iconic www internet address "wood whitty woodend"
The last of the trio for us, we like these trusty containers, but did find quite an anomaly with the listed terrain of 1.5.
**Feedback to CO:** Just wondering if the TR should be a tade higher than 1.5?
Thanks Woodwhitty for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

TFTC this was our 700th find!! We chose this series to achieve this milestone because we met in scouting 40 years ago and have been involved with scouting over the years
Really hard to find, up really high and a challenge for my fragile bones to collect. Other than that a great cache
Took us a little bit to find it. We have placed the cache back in the same area but a little lower where we believe it most likely was intended given the difficultly and terrain ration of 1.5.
Nice lovely day for a bit of caching in our town. This path has been part of our lives for 29 years even before the bike path existed. Many tree houses were built by our geokids and the locals in the big pines, walking across the weir was a right of passage and a huge tree fallen over the creek further up was the path to the other side. It has been our walk or choice with the furkids and Doc has taken his scouts along it many times. TFTC Woodwhitty.
Nice stroll along path with a quick find. Geodog enjoyed this immensely.
Thanks for the cache
