Teamed up with Photo-Play for most of the day and other cachers along the way for the Blue Switch Day event and several other finds in Whiteman Park. It was a great day for caching and a nice opportunity to meet up with everyone.

We had a little time this afternoon so went to Whiteman Park to look for a few of the GA challenge caches. This one was close by. It was a quick find and the container and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for this cache neva2old. We were not familiar with Whiteman Park so enjoyed exploring some of parts of it. What a great asset for the people of Perth and surrounding areas.

TFTH neva2old - such a simple name! Love the paper trees but certainly do not love the search of them. However, surprised myself and made a quick find. SL and replaced as found.
Out and about finishing off some caches on a beautiful day at Whiteman Park. Nice quick find here, log is full here, just managed to get my name on there TFTC
What a great cache and that Bison Tube is brilliant - no room on the log to sign off on, but pic provided as evidence. TFTC
Took us some time to find but made us look silly once we got it. Log is full so found the last little bit of clear paper to get our entry in.
No paper with us (waiting for some kit) have let the CO know.

A Christmas Day walk in Whiteman Park - and this was one of the caches I also stopped off at while here today Noticeably warmer here than where I live on the coast but still very pleasant and lovely weather for an easy post-Christmas lunch stroll Not too many people here today which also makes a nice change! Spotted a few cattle in the paddock when walking over to GZ, however they were a long way away and looked like they had zero appetite to move from the shade A very quick find once at GZ - no problems here. TFTC
A quick find here.
Perfect spring weather to head to Whiteman Park for a few hours of caching.
TFTC neva2old this is find # 8068 for us.

So much loose bark on the tree I thought it was going to be much harder. Thanks for the cache.
This cache and others in this area will be unavailable until the middle of the year due to path closure. Bugger.
Today's plans brought me to Whiteman Park where I spent almost the whole day . Besides beautiful Fauna and Flora you can watch remote-controlled aircraft and even old trains and trams ringing and rumbling ! So time was flying and despite some nasty DNFs I was able to collect some new smileys on the map !
This find was somehow strange: surrounding the tree I hit my head heavily, but so what . Then I spotted the container, unscrewed it and what did I find: nothing in it !!! So I added some replacement log and headed to the next cache..... Only seconds later I noticed my missing walking stick, so I returned to the tree and approaching GZ again I could spot the original log sheet lying on the ground a few meters apart from the container [8)]. Now everything is back in place waiting for the next cachers....

We struggle with type of cache for some reason. They are always so obvious once you've spotted them! Found by Mrs after a few laps. TFTC neva2old
