Coming here, I found myself staring at a bunch of kangaroos staring back at me! Hello boys, nothing to see here!
Circled round and round this one and then realised I was looking directly at it. Glad I didn't have to actually crawl! TFTC!
Tftc, no trackable inside though, and noticed the log book is missing some names from people that have marked as found? I'm new to this, is that kinda normal?
#125 27/04/2024 @1:03pmWhat will be the last cache on this particular walk. A strong final find
TFTC. Left $100 for the next person. There's a trackable in there but didn't take it.
Easy find. Left a TB. Not sure if it was intentional or not but looks like a ant heaven. Watch when opening. TFTC
Easy find about 14 metres off coordinates but from the right side it was plain to see: David
Found this one today during a nice walk in the South part of Plenty Gorge Park. Great area to look for more geocaches.
Visiting friends nearby, and we came for a wander down to see some kangaroos. Noticed a cache nearby so went looking. Not where the gpx suggested. Found about 12 m away at S 37°41.213 E 145°05.674 . TFTC
Getting stared down by several kangaroos, we found the cache and signed the log. Beautiful area and nice structure nearby!
Found with icw about 12 metres from GZ. On the way to the cache we passed several mobs of Eastern grey kangaroos. We always make sure we know where the chief buck is and keep well away from him. One of them reared up (all two muscular metres of him), stared at us and started a threatening chest scratch, so we walked rapidly away.
At GZ two joeys found us fascinating as we searched for the container. Fortunately their daddy didn't come over to see what we were doing. A large group of choughs were using their beaks to dig around the base of a eucalyptus tree. They were so intent on finding tasty morsels that they ignored us. Tftc.

Came out for a run around the gorge today. Glad to turn this DNF into a smile today. Mob of Roos watching nearby . Tftc
Not in the obvious place at all! Nice sturdy container, and a bit rustic. Left Santa inside.
Plenty of hoppy things for me today. Quick find and was surprised at the dryness of the log considering the banged up nature of the container.
Definitely enjoyed our afternoon in the Gorge with a couple of first-timers. Got a little lost throughout on a couple of the trails (the App we use doesn't show the trails like the map on the website does for some reason), but with perfect spring weather got this guy with a minimum of fuss before heading on back home. Nice one!
Plenty Gorge Parklands. What a gem!
We met up with our niece and nephew (EwanF) here today and had a good walk around on this side of the river, getting some exercise and enjoying a few caches.
This was our second one today. Continuing along the pipeline track we wandered off to find this one, not so impressed with all of the trail bikes hooning around. It was quite easy to see as it was quite exposed. We added some cammo to prevent it being muggled. There were great huts nearby.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache Ron.haha and for bringing us to this great area.

Nice quick find. We don’t often enter the gorge from this end. Nice to explore a new area
It was great being able to get out doors. Our first 10km limited outing of LD6. Picked the furthest patch of bush land in our zone and headed out after some brekky. Great to be out and about in the bush. Great location. Headed for the obvious only to come up short. TFTC
The missing cache has been located and replaced where it should be, beside a fallen tree.
Looked around for a good 45 mins, think we need to come back with a fresh mindset
I have had the week off however mrs frilk has started back so I thought that I would get her out for a couple of hours to relax.
A quick find. TFTC.

Easiest find of the day in Plenty Goege. Tboygh I did have to disturb a family of snails who have made the rather beaten up old cache container their home. Thanks.
Kato Potato and I had booked accommodation in Mill Park for the Whittlesea MEGA event.....non-refundable accommodation which thankfully opened up to us regional Victorians this very week. Despite not being able to attend the now-cancelled MEGA, we got back in the saddle of geocaching and realised how much we'd missed it in 2020.
So many muggles out on the trails! We passed families with dogs, on bikes and one dude with a stereo tied to his mountain bike ruining the atmosphere. TFTC Ron.haha

After a particularly long caching hiatus thanks to COVID-19, Mummy Short Legs and I finally got to hit the road again for our annual caching weekend away. This weekend was originally planned to be celebrated with the nearby Mega event, cancelled for obvious reasons. We still had an accommodation booking though and thought waste not, want not! A great weekend away and an opportunity to just enjoy the area.
Less creepy things than at the last cache but a nice straight forward find here. Plenty of mountain bikes around today and families out for walks enjoying the day. Thanks for the trail throughout this beautiful spot Ron.haha

Nice little hide among the gum trees. Kangaroos nearby and the odd muggle having a walk on a spring day. All good with the cache.

The sun had just set on an awesome winters day. Luckily I didn’t come across any creepy crawlies. Thanks for bringing me to this lovely area and thanks for the cache Ron.haha.
Due to recent nearby bushfire this parkland is closed. Entry is forbidden until further notice.
I aimed to find 'Plenty' of caches (4 actually) this afternoon, which I achieved between showers. Thanks Ron.haha.
My second on tour in the plenty gorge park. Very creepy and with local bystanders. All good here. Cheers!
Lots of kangaroos just watching me less than 20m away. Didn't seem to care what I was doing. A quick easy find. TFTC Ron.haha.
Out with xambo4u, we spent the day walking in the beautiful Plenty Gorge. A good name for this cache. Thanks Ron.haha
There certainly were plenty of creepy things hanging around and about, but after a short search we were able to get our hands on the cache in good time. TFTC!
Accompanied with crank1 for caching day in Plenty Gorge Park to do the Mystery at the Museum. Found it. Thanks Ron.haha for placing this cache
Need to find 35 caches to access the lock to the vault - Mystery at the Museum. Found your cache today. Ron.haha, thank you so much for placing it.
Lots of Roos guarding here just like the rest of the park. Thanks for the cache!
I distrubed many kangaroos as I approached the GZ.
The cache was completred exposed.
I've camouflaged it a bit.

We were on the lookout to be scared and creepy and had a nice little find
Creepy things don't bother me, and this cache caused no bother either. If there are too many creepy things then the gardening gloves come out of the backpack, but here I saw only a few ants and a millipede.
I like being off track, very nice change. Now off to find one that I have looked for before.
