Its been a busy Saturday, but surely I can squeeze in a quick cache on my way through Waikanae. This was hard to do while avoiding the many many muggles. Based on the clue I had an idea what this was, but hmmmm no luck, but then there it is. Clever hide.
Awesome cache, very well hidden there was a huge spider in it when we opened it up so just be careful but overall a fun cache Dale and Geoff
Took a while too find with the high traffic of muggles but got there in the end. Great spot. TFTC
One of my favourite finds so far! Such a clever hide tftc favourite point well deserved
Needed a cache today to maintain a current streak, 99 consecutive days today! Drove to the parking area next to the Waikanae bridge. Had a bit of a look for a cache there without success, then moved on to another one nearby. I found that other cache, D3 difficulty level, without much trouble. Came back to this one and spent several minutes searching for it. I would suggest that this one is more of a D2 than a D1, especially considering it often involves quite a bit of searching, and some have even logged it as a DNF! Eventually I spotted something interesting which did contain the cache. #7630. TFTC.
After a Circus visit yesterday we really needed to get a walk in for the kids to let off some steam. The bridge is finished so we could finally walk a circular that end of it, placing some more caches and finding those we hadn't found yet.Found within a few minutes. Love nicely crafted caches that blend in thanks for creating, placing and maintaining!
Found at the beginning or was it the end? By granddaughter helper Frankie. TFTC
Out and about with Flowerydaze catching up on some solved puzzles, some multi's and some trads. Took some searching to find this one but with Flowerdaze's assistance we got there. Thanks for the cache bubblecrew
**19,144**This was a great fun cache, and we laughed when we found the cache, as we could then understand the cache title. Clever hide and worth a favourite point from us for the amusement it gave us. TFTC
There is an event in Waikanae - The Return of the Tmann, so I took the train into town then out to Waikanae.. Except that it was a bus. Which is fine except that my bum developed some serious flat patches and I was itching to get out and put those bum muscles to work. Yay! Waikanae! At last! one hour walk ahead...
First stop was here. I had failed to find this on an earlier trip and was about to start hunting again, when I got a call from TaybeeNZ saying he was happy to pop home and pick me up to give me a ride here. I'm already here! Turns out he was in Otaki (and was going to drive to Lower Hutt and back ?!?) so I waited for him. In the meantime had another hunt for this cache, which I found in 1 minute flat. That's more like it!
Grabbed a TB to move on.

Another trip down to Kapiti Coast to find 15 caches for my personal challenge. A favorite point from me. Thanks bubblecrew for the cache
That took way longer than it needed to! Not helped by the GPS bounching around a bit today. Cool container. TFTC
Very good hide! Took alextnz and I a good while of searching before we gave in and looked at the hint. From there it all clicked into place, one of my favourites!
Found with charlesmarbles. This one took a little longer, but the hint certainly helped! Our favourite from today so far. TFTC
This nicely hidden cache took us a while to find. After our first unsuccessful search, we continued along the track to another cache, before returning, and finally interpreting the hint correctly, leading to a quick easy find, and a favourite from us. TFTC
Driven down to Waikanae to attend tmann’s community event this morning. Spent the rest of the day caching in the area. Rain on and off before finally clearing up in the evening. Managed two swims, one in the river and one in the sea. Found 28 caches and 1 DNF. Mr Rubbishparty failed to find anything here and had to wait for Mrs Rubbishparty to come and make sense of the hint. Great hide. Happy to add to the favourite points. Trackable picked up. Thanks for the smiley
That took a little while, but we found it. Deonrocks pointed out something he found which then lead to finding the cache. Took nothing and left a t.b.

#11,779. I came up to the Kapiti Coast today to pick up a multicache for a challenge I am working on. But as its 40 minutes from home thought I had better find a few other caches up here to offset the fuel bill. This was one of them. I parked nearby and wandered around for a few minutes wondering where you could hide a small cache in this area. Read some logs and noticed it was a clever hide. That got me thinking and suddenly I saw something promising. Yep there is the cache. Great camo. I guess you have been up in the central North Island recently. I grew up in that area which helped with finding this one. Signed the logbook and replaced the cache as found. Thanks bubblecrew for taking the time to place a thoughtful cache.
Very clever hide!
We were searching around for quite some time, with many a ‘I reckon it’s here’ thrown in. Favourite point from us.
Thanks!

Nicely crafted hide, quick find & replacement between groups of muggles. Mihi
Received a hint so I went back to find this - can’t believe I missed it the first time thanks for the cache. Editing this to mention it’s my 500th find so will be in my milestone list forever
Gave it a clean, added some new small toys etc. All good with the cache. Enjoy.
Found it on our third attempt. Very tricky, can see why others love the spot so much. We’re very impressed with the hiding place. Not what we were expecting. With two finds under our belt now we are hooked. Thanks so much.
We have just downloaded the app and this was our first attempt ever. Spent over an hour looking to no avail. The kids are keen to go back and try again later though.
Quick find this morning while out on a ride up and down the river. Found in the second spot checked, clever!
Thanks for the cache

This one had us pondering on the hint, then eventually it became clear. Great cache, worth a favourite. TFTC
A quick dash to find a second cache for the 2/2/22 virtual badge after getting milk from Faith farm. Had me walking in circles for a while and was just about to give up when it clicked. Clever hide and worth a favourite. Forgot a pen so took a photo of the log. TFTC
Found it with KiwiKatieG. Really awesome find. Great hiding spot. All the comments were absolutely spot on. TFTC...
Amazing cache really enjoyed looking for that one and took a while. Found with Pandjag. TFTC
A nice find on a walk to stretch out after a morning cooped up inside. All good in cache, even after days of nasty weather. Tftc!
#1682. Let’s celebrate the release from COVID Alert Level 3, to Delta Alert Level 2 by going on a cache-hunt up to the Kapiti coast. GB Leader and I decided to spend a couple of nights at Paraparaumu Beach, and find a few 10+ FP hides towards the next Peak, Vinson, in the Reach the Peak saga.
This was find #1 for the day. Very tricky indeed as has been noted, and took far longer than it needed. FP for ingenuity.
Tftc bubblecrew.

Took a bit of searching, nice nifty hiding spot!
If I could give favorites, this would get one.
Thank you for the cache!

First cache of the day with Ezratar. Lovely spot and he was pleasantly surprised when he found the cache at the first location he searched. Great container as well. T4TC.
Easy find with @peadub while returning to Wellington after a few days holiday on the Kapiti Coast. GPS and hint spot on. Great hide. Signed log and replaced where found. TFTC.
A well disguised cache, worth a fav point but log is very wet and should be replaced.

Yay! Glad I persisted with this- what a super hide. Thanks for the effort here. (Log quite damp)
After coming back down from the hills I had time to walk around town a bit and find one more cache. A short walk led me here. I looked around for something more traditional for a while before realizing I had the wrong idea. When I paid more attention to the hint something caught my eye. That'll be it! Nope. Then I spotted something even more likely to be a cache. Yep. Very nice hide indeed. Giving this an FP as it was a good cache to finish off the day. TFTC.
Took two visits to get this one.
Straightforward- once you’ve found it. Tricky up till then.
Thanks

Was looking for ages with Shmodeycoinhunter. Just when we were about to give up he spotted something out of the corner of his eye! Stoaked! Great hide
Called in here on our way out today but Building Removals next door was crawling with muggles. On our way home though was after hours so place was deserted. I was looking round wondering if this was the beginning or the end of the riverside trail. Lisa however was a little more on to it and soon had the cache in her hand.

***NOTE*** These Systema containers aren't as waterproof as everyone thinks and plastic bag inside is too small for logsheet which unfortunately is soaking wet.

Thanks bubblecrew for placing this cache
Found on a nice drizzly day with TeamFuldyGeo.
Waited for one muggle to pass before retrieving.

Found with searchSteve. Lots of little creatures made this there home lovely spot. TFTC
I came up the coast today to boost my numbers for September.
Each time I've driven past I've wondered if it was possible to pull over and today I realised it was, with a largish parking area available. Headed over to the track and spied an object out of place and revealed the cache. Signed the log, grabbed the trackable, and recaptured the dinosaur that tried escaping a couple of times. All good here. TFTC

A truck pulled up just as I started my search so I called if off and wandered off to find the cache on the other side of the main road. When I returned, the truck had moved inside the yard and I could go about my mission unobserved. The clever hide meant I didn't find what I was after immediately but I got it sorted before it became a head scratcher. I am happy to award this cache a favourite point.
Able to park very near and soon had the cache found thanks to hint. Very cleverly hidden. TFTC and a FP
What a cool camo! And great hint. Found it with K.O Damo junior cacher creeped out by bugs
Checked it today, in place and all good. Adjusted the gps location by a fraction.
Awesome hide! Had to stop twice and pretend to take photos due to muggles either riding by or walking dogs. Our 2nd favourite point for the day. TFTC.
