### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###
----------
Hi there grannygeo64,
It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is an issue. The cache has been temporarily disabled, so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s with this cache can be addressed.
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ). Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.
- **Place A Write Note Log::-** Reviewers don't have a crystal ball, so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, or you have been in hospital, or the area is in flood, they can't tell what is going on with the cache.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
**Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks, so as to keep everyone up to speed.**
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56), so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when a Reviewer next looks at the cache page, it is likely that they will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
**JUST A TIP:-** Have you checked out the new Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own? Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD).

Out again for a caching morning in the excellent company of Tiz13 with the target to find caches along the rail trail My footwear became quite wet after all the long grass we walked through. Cache was quickly found but very disappointing to find the log so saturated and totally unreadable, which meant we were unable to complete the mystery cache TFTC grannygeo64
Tftc grannygeo64. Precisely 3 years since I last ventured back here although I regularly run the the nearby rail trail. Again it took a while and a review of previous logs gave me the additional clues needed. Sad to say that even though the cache is in reasonable shape it is no longer waterproof. The log was mush and rather than try to extract it I let it be else it'd be in tatters.
I have a photo as evidence should you require proof of the find. Once again, thanks gg64.

At present we have two of our grandchildren staying with us, so after a day spent at home yesterday it was time to get out and do some exploring.
We had not tackled this short series in the past, but thought there might be some shade along the trail and it might prove an interesting walk.
First stop was a closer look at W power station, in particular the coming towers. There were lots of questions regarding it raining inside and clouds coming out the top.
Then it was on our way to the caches along what proved to be a good walking trail for the day.
We sure made hard work of this one. Missed the logical avenue of approach so rather than go back decide to head uphill. We slipped and slid our way up initially and coached one past he spider webs. But then the scrub took its toll on the younger ones bare legs and we were forced to carry him.
We followed a few clearways this and that way and still didn't seem to be getting any closer. Finally I left th boys in a clearing and bushbashed to the final GZ where a quick find was fortunately found.
We took a far smarter way back!

So close to giving up on this one, found D4
Ones easyer to find than this one. Come up here yesterday up the harder track but found the easyer route day. Also having a GPS 5M out doesn't really help. TFTC

The Sun had come out and living in Baw Baw shire we were not locked down so I decided to head out for a day out of the house and a nice walk along the Moe - Yallourn rail trail, Gippsland has some great locations to visit and lots of caches that have not been found in awhile, so with my new caching gear gloves, sanitizer and mask. I had a great time touring around the area finding caches and exploring new places. the gps was pointing up there, I thought this was going to be a nice walk along the rail trail, once at GZ I went round and round in circles before I finally stumbled across the cache, what a nightmare.
Thanks grannygeo64 for the cache.
Thanks grannygeo64 for the cache.
Another great camo, the paroling bull ant got me on the ankle. Loved the trek through the scrub .. Found the tea pot ,,,,TFTC
Well that was a fluke of a find as Cache container was on the ground, I'm sure we would have been hunting longer if it were still hanging... we replaced it just above where it was found. These certinaly do make good fire balls!
Saw the teapot on the way back.

Before leaving town we set off on this mini series as there's nothing better than a geo-hike. After the hard way up to this one and a good 15 minute search that included us both being bitten by ants (me under my right foot and Mr Team GBS between two toes) I finally spotted the cache - phew! We signed the log book, replaced as found and then limped our way back on to the Rail Trail via the teapot! Thanks so much for the cache and greetings from Zimbabwe
After almost falling down a 2m drop of a rusty something or other, being bitten by a bull ant and then seeing no clear route at the kettle, I slid back down the hill with my tail between my legs.
That was the worst. Went the wrong way. Took forever. Never mind the cache being a micro. I just spotted it as I walked past. Reading others comments about how it was between the pine tree and power pole. WHICH PINE TREE. there’s like 5
We found it tho. Missed the clue. We were too keen to get out of there. Thanks for the cache. Hopefully we can find the end one. Cos we missed that clue.

This was a climb and a half. Got bitten on the toes by a bull ant. Eventually found it after searching for 30 mins. Keen to get out of there so forgot to check the clue. Aaargh! TFTC and the adventure
Warning I nearly step on a snake on the way up to the cache. Found with gwd.aussie and gwd.aussie. Thanks for the smile face.
Found with gwd.aussie and Sharon14
Finally have been able to return to this cache and change it to a smiley. After the last attempt was restricted by weather and time ended in a DNF we were hopeful to change this today. Taking into account the hint and a few logs we started searching when something not quite right caught my eye. Thankfully the snake on the way up to the cache did not catch my eye ( I took a different route) only the one along the walking path after the find or else this cache may still be a DNF.
Thanks grannygeo64

Last time we were here, it was try to rain, and we need to get to a event.
This time, we were not under and pressure.
How ever there it is snakes issue, But with all that D@geo found it any way
Out caching with Sharon14 and D@geo
Thank you for the cache grannygeo64

Welp, so much for this being a game for casuals... I'm a little surprised at myself for actually finding this one! Who the hell would have expected to have to climb up here?! There were a lot of spots where you could easily slip and fall. My advice for hunters: GZ is about halfway between a power pole and a pine tree. Good luck, and TFTC
A nice day to be out caching and found this cache today.

Well, lucky that I had a friend with me or I might never have found this one. We located the easy way up but, not the 'easy' way down. Took at least 1/2 an hour before the eyes clicked into gear and we finally had the cache in hand.

On our way to the puzzle-solving workshop event and Kato mentioned that she hadn't found four of this nice little series of five. Since I had a previous DNF on this one and a potential but untested set of coordinates for the final, off we went! Up the ascent we went and on to familiar territory where I felt lost as I had before. Kato eventually found the pretty cache and the relief was palpable. TFTC grannygeo64
It has been a very long time coming but today, thanks to a local event, Mummy Short Legs and I were able to get out and gather some local caches that had been taunting us for a while. I was expecting the worst when I approached GZ after hearing about MSL's last failed attempt at this cache while we puffed our way up the hill. The landscape certainly did nothing to alleviate my concerns that this would remain unfound! However after a scan of the area and a bit more of a scan, and some more pointed looking I spotted it! Huzzah! TFTC Grannygeo!
Probably a good idea to wear hiking boots for this one and remember how you got in here
After struggling like a old wombat to get here no go but found a better way back.
Couldn't get a stable signal and the search area kept moving.
Thanks grannygeo64 FT hunt.

Giraffe_legs determination even while suffering man-flu led to his call of "found it". Talk about needle in a haystack!
New this one was going to be a challenge to find with the experienced catchers dnf ‘ing. Persistence paid off. Clue in hand off to find our way back to the track
With a bit of time before an event in Moe decided to grab a cache or two in the vicinity with gdw.aussie and sqau. Sadly after a search had to admit defeat in order to get to the event.
Thanks anyway grannygeo64
Thanks anyway grannygeo64
The cache that time got in the way.
Search for a while, without much luck.
Checked the time "we need to get to the CITO".
Thank you for the hide grannygeo64 but no smiley today.

After making my way up and across, I began looking. I looked, went round in circles a few times, looked some more, thought about giving up, looked some more and after expanding my search area spotted it. Phew, that was a relief! After a drink of water it was time to head back to the trail.
Thanks to grannygeo64 for placing this cache.

Alas, I took the hard way up but found the teapot on the easier way back down. Probably quite dangerous to do at night given the enormous wombatty hole and then the big SECV structure/room/hole I found straight after. No luck. I found the two pines someone else mentions, searched in a clearing but alas, no luck. This is well hidden.
After 3 dnf's I got out of my sick bed with the help of teammoss5 and apple460 we went for a stroll to check and as guessed the cache is there and complete the teapot has nothing to do with the cache. Pays to trust your gps and actually follow it happy hunting
I note 2 more dnfs since mine. Is the attached photo of the original or the new cache?
Hot and sticky day and we got frustrated looking everywhere for this cache. The GPS accuracy was low. We had a idea of what we might be looking for but there were so many options. Maybe another day!
Looked for a good 40 minutes but no luck:) Maybe a cookie for there before me.
Mmmm. Satellite image usefully places the cache just east of 2 large pines. Looked around for ages with geohound and nobody else to worry about. Did find evidence of yellow tailed blacks feeding on cones and fresh growth and did find a chewed up micro. Will await if someone else finds this but will also send co photo of said sad mangled object.
So i look at my phone, no ftf, so i go for it. Find it and there has been 2 previous to write on the log sheet. Not sure if they forgot to log or not, but maybe i can claim for being the first to log it on the site

Coming face to face with a red belly the climb the slips everything this was well worth tracking out on a 30 degree day to put my name down on the only one to not be found yet that day. Came across a fellow cacher who had gotten to the others just before us. Tftc

Dnf at 9 am after 20 minutes. Took an early entry to cache which made the hill easier, but way too many scrubby trees to push through.
Dnf at 11.40 am after 30 minutes searching, even though I had bumped into some cachers who had found it earlier. Discovered an interesting teapot and some old building structures near new entry point. Very steep but minimal scrub trees.
Found the replaced cache at the place I was looking this morning. Must have just been blind on my first visit. Second visit confirmed it was missing. Log signed at 12.45 pm on my third visit after the CO had visited and replaced the cache after some animal had tried eating the cache some time today between my visits. Saw the bite marks on the orginal cache after bumping into the CO later on the trail.
Thanks for the cache Granny Geo 64 and pleasure to meet you.
Hunter
PS. Thanks for the warning about the snake. I didn't see it but I was about to slide down the hill near the structures and that would have put me right on top of it.

DNF 21/2/18 approx 23:30
After finding the first two (including a FTF) GizaGal and I thought we were on a roll.
Not to be …
The co-ordinates of S 38° 10.604 E 146° 20.023 indicated approx. 70m off the track up a pretty ugly embankment. To tackle this at night, in shorts, wasn’t looking like fun. GizaGal decided to stay on the track. I scrambled up the hill, bashed though very thick scrub, over a fence through some more very thick scrub until I got to GZ. Completely surrounded by scrub with my torchlight being thrown back into my face this was a tough area to find a micro .. and I didn’t … My trek back wasn’t any more fun. Other than the fact that I kept going down, I didn’t have a clear idea where I was going .. It took a bit of marco polo with GizaGal to hone in on the right place to come down again.
