Permanently disabled as recent heavy rains at the Lake have washed the cache site completely away .

The cache site at edge of lake has been washed away due to recent very heavy rain & storms. there is no other site nearby that I can change co-ordinates to due to proximity of other caches.

Due to health problem can't get to do check for a few weeks. Hope it hasn't been muggled but it is a bit hard to find. will replace if muggled.

Came through this afternoon for a walk around the Lake. GPSr had good reception today but despite that we were unable to locate the cache. We did find a nice fishing lure which we gave to the local who was fishing nearby on the point. Bit of rubbish (cans and drink bottles) around GZ which we removed...even extended our search out to 15m (just in case). Unfortunately after 45 minutes we decided to call a DNF and hopefully it was just a case of cache blindness.

Took new kayaks out for a run on the lake and decided to pick this one up. Only trouble was I didn’t have a pen. Will try and get back next weekend to complete signing duties. TFTC

Visiting the area for a couple of days and although the weather was not what we were hoping we decided to give this trek round the lake a go.
Having parked up we picked up the 5 caches as we strolled round and having done so - reversed the route and back to the car.
Though damp weather, this lovely lake made up for that
We spent ages here searching many places and after having gone back and forth several times a chance spot in a place we had both looked more than once and the cache was spotted

Christmas Day and temperatures are soaring in the city, so what better then a trip into the Blue Mountains to Wentworth Falls Lake.
It was quite busy around the lake with many people enjoying Christmas lunch in the shade of trees. After a refreshing swim in the lake it was time to walk around the lake and pickup some of the other caches.
This was a good find! TFTC.

Quick and easy find, lots of people around so had to be a bit sly, luckily the big group that was swimming moved on as we arrived. Thanks for bringing us to this beautiful spot

Up in the mountains today with Calypso62 to attend the Christmas in the Bluies event at Wentworth Falls.
A nice walk to GZ and a quick find.

Such a nice spot

The vacation down under with kimallus continues and we headed to Blue Mountains for a short visit to view splendid views.

Our first stop was in Wentworth falls and there we stopped next at this small pretty lake. Another track and another hide. What a beautiful place, just need to be careful for dogs..t. Thanks for the cache.

Lovely spot. Lovely morning for stroll around the lake. Cold and overcast, just how I like it. Cache is all ship shape and in good nick. Tb missing so I dropped one off there. Hope it survives ok. Hats off to the owners locally- the place was pretty well covered in so yeah good job people. Anyway fab spot SL tftc!

Feeling somewhat under the weather right now so a nice walk around Wentworth Falls lake was in order, since I had neglected this cache for too long this was the day to find it.

Yesterday I saw the beautiful lake from the train. This morning I stopped here for a short walk on my way back to Sydney and found the cache quickly.

I came here in December, but couldn't even look that day. The place was packed with muggles enjoying the cool water on a hot day. And one of their dogs decided to go for me (side note: really dislike dog owners who don't keep their dogs on a leash, people have a right to be able to walk around without fearing dog attacks!). So with a snarling dog & too many people, I just walked away.

Today there was no one around and I made a quick find. My memory of where my GPS was pointing last time was different to where it pointed today. So I checked back logs and see that it has indeed been moved. So I probably wouldn't have found it the day I was here, as that was 29/12.

In Katoomba to walk from Jenolan to Katoomba along the six foot track. A day early so completing a few caches around the area before getting a bus to Jenolan. Took a bit of searching as it blended in well with the surrounds. TFTC.

If coordinates not OK will have to permanently disable as only spot that is the required distance from GC7EH99 and GC2JH1F. am trying to get description etc logged but can't do it until coordinate change is made. I Averaged E coordinates as had readings of 198, 197 and 196 E S as 2 were same of the 3. have saved changes to description and will send when I can.

If you enabled it in error then you should have disabled it again like this.

This cache was online when we left home. We found it easily and then we drove back home to find that the cache was no longer online. But our names were in the logbook, so we decided to log it. Thanks

Sorry about the disable. The last coord change I did (on the iPad, without the review tools) put this too close to "Green Grow The Rushes O" GC7EH99, a traditional cache 146.9 m NE of here.

This one needs to be relocated before its re-enabled

#4412- Having dome the cache on the other side of the lake we headed here. Very peaceful spot- but found the cache quite exposed- it is quite close to the swing the kids use in the lake. Nickoheap replaced a bit less obviously. Took a tb to move on. Thanks

Lots and lots of people around this afternoon, all swimming on a 29 degree day. Hope no-one stumbles over this hide accidentally!

After checking within five metres of here on my lunchtime exploration it was nice to return with coordinates the owner had given me to make the find.

Hopefully I have given her enough information to move the cache with the help of a reviewer.
