Out and about doing a loop between bridges on the push bike. Great day for it.

Kinda easy I didn't find this one myself but I work in a team and one of them found it
Quick find, nice sheltered spot thanks. Outside was a bit wet but log still dry. Refolded so I could seal the teeny bag! TFTC
Found on a cycle ride - Belmont, Taita, Wingate, around to the cemetry, Riverside Drive down to Waiwhetu, across to the River Trail and back to Belmont. A really nice few hours of caching. TFTC
Out on a quiet wettish morning. Nice quick find with no one around to spot me. Didnt even know this trail was here although I live nearby. Thanks for the cache
I was getting my exercise for the day getting in and out of the cachemobile and walking to caches. I felt no need to demonstrate that I could still leap over hurdles with ease (albeit at the lower end ). Found the container but unfortunately I couldn't open it as it has rusted up - - - oh heck - - - just when I was boasting about how physically able I am .
Slowly did the hurdles (slowly lol) then went hunting. Didn't even know this fitness trail was here!
Neat container, but was a bit wet inside. Logged ok due to the waterproof paper and dried out as best we could while on the go. Quite an open area so be vigilant of muggles!
Found with the whanau. Picked up TB Fred to carry their journey further up the coast
Found this nice little cache nestled in. Nice cache, thanks for a simple find. Found with rock9
# 1543 This one was found easily enough but felt super paranoid with the location with potential eyes from the neighbouring houses. Not to worry, pulled it off like a ninja. Cheers jefraser, all good inside here.
Found on a Saturday afternoon caching session. First time in this area. It was cool to attempt the different exercise challenges. TFTC
An easy find with good co-ords and the tin visible from a short distance. Being a tin box it will start to rust bu OK at the moment. Thanks CO and I will not say only GO!
Find #3052. Caching day on the bike, completing 38kms around Lower Hutt, with the weather undecided if it wanted to be hot or cold, sunny or cloudy, but definitely windy from the SW.
Super quick find as the cache was more than a little obvious. SL TFTC

The title of this cache rings very true. Last find today and of this quick trip over - the second in 4 days with another in 4 more days! Thats always a good opportunity for another few smiles to add to the tally. TFTC # 13,239
Treasure number 2 found today. We swapped a matchstick man for a retro goosebumps top. Tftc.
Thanks to Trailsx3 for dropping in a replacement log sheet. I visited the site today and put the new log file into screw top bottle (but still inside the original container). Should stay nice and dry on there.
As previous logs mentioned, the log is pretty knackered; so I dropped in a small sheet of water proof paper to tide things over until maintenance. Things were quiet but I still felt nervous about neighbor-exposure.
TFTC, cheers

The last time I had a decent full day’s caching run it was way back on Anzac Day, so it is pretty fitting that’s next is on Armistice Day. I decided to head back to Upper Hutt and Lower Hutt region as even though I attended the recent mega and enjoyed it, I didn’t really enjoy the actual caching as it was more like queuing and waiting your turn for the log book and in some cases not even seeing the container and that isn’t my type of caching.
An early morning start to make the most of what promises to be a great sunny day. A quick find here, however the log is saturated, mouldy and unwritable - this type of container isn't waterproof and isn't really suitable for this type of hide. Dropped a trackable. TFTC

Terrible condition sadly. Found but couldn’t write in it as the paper was soaked and damaged
A quick and easy find. It took a wee while though as the neighbour kept coming in and out of the house to the car. Cache had water in it. Thanks
A day spent driving up and down the Hutt Valley finding one or two caches.
Thanks to all CO's for placing and maintaining their caches. Cheer

We jumped on this one.
I visited here with team geocacher zboy wonder. We made a straightforward find. Cache in order, log signed and then re-hidden safely, just as found.

This one was quite visible on approach, so tried to cover it up a bit better. The log is pretty wet, but you can still get your name on it, TFTC
Out for a bike ride from Petone, and to pick up a few caches in this area if possible.
This one easily found but a bit damp.
And nice to find another bike trail in Hutt City.

Nice we cache. I was surprized how damp the inside to time was though. I drained it and out it back where i found it TFTC
I had a couple of reasons to acquire three cache finds this evening. And I wanted to be quick about it as I didn't want to miss too much Commonwealth Games action. This was the third find and it turned out to be quite an easy one after initially wondering if I would be able to identify the item referred to in the hint.
Nice quick find - on a busy Easter Saturday.
Just strting to spit, before turning to a showery afternoon.

A quick find on a pleasant little walkway. Out caching on a nice sunny day in Autumn with Team Geocacher Mr. T but we didn't try the simple physical challenge stations. Too much of a physical challenge! Tftc.
In town for a friends birthday and had time to kill.
Use to live on Compton cres. Do was nice to take a drive by.
Cache was quickly found.

As I was in the neighbourhood I thought I'd pick up these two caches along this trail. There was a possibility of being muggled for this one as there was a maintenance truck parked nearby (grass mowing), but there was no sign of him so I was able to track down the cache unimpeded. TFTC
Make short work of this one on the way home. Tftc, knocked off another needed "Day of Caching"
Found on a hot day though log is slightly damp. People need to be careful to replace the cache container the right way up so it doesn’t suffer in the rain. TFTC
Quick find where all good at GZ. Went for a drive with wb-jnr after work to get my cache of the day.
Thanks for another smilie.
Did you know that planning has started for a major Event in the Wellington region in 2018? Check out the details on the [Wellington Event NZ (WENZ) Website](https://sites.google.com/site/wenzgeo2018/home) or visit the event’s page on [FaceBook](https://www.facebook.com/groups/590545297801072/). The official cache page is now live [GC78NMQ - WENZ Event 2018](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC78NMQ_wenz-event-2018-wellington). If you are planning to attend, please ensure you let us know through this page.
Thanks to the Cache Owner who has gone to the trouble of creating this cache, determining the coordinates and then averaging them to make sure they are accurate, placing the cache and registering it online for our enjoyment. Without Cache Owners doing their bit, there wouldn’t be a fun hobby that we all love - so again a big THANK YOU. For our bit, all we need to do is find and log the cache that was carefully placed for our personal enjoyment. As we log it we should consider that the Cache Owner also needs to maintain it - when the log sheet fills up, they must replace it. When the container becomes full of water, they need to empty it. When the container is broken, they need to repair it. When it goes missing they need to find or replace it. Well..... the great news is we can do our bit too - make sure your log doesn’t take an entire page - just a name and date. If full of water, empty and dry the cache as best as possible. Be careful when handling the cache and make sure you replace it where you found it. If it has a bag, seal it. Just remember - the Cache Owner showed respect to you by placing the cache - please respect them and fellow cachers that follow you by being careful with the cache. And if you have a spare log sheet and the cache you are at needs one, please leave it behind. Finally, if the cache does need maintenance, please let the Cache Owner know - you can log a Maintenance Log or you can drop a line to the Cache Owner. Above all - have fun and remember the Geocaching Code. .
Thanks for another smilie.

After a day in the office, felt like I'd earned a smilie so made a brief detour here for a quick find this evening. TFTC
#5162. The day before Christmas and with my brief burst of Christmas shopping behind me (one of life's hurdles from my perspective), I had some free time available. I decided to do a short visit to the Hutt Valley to pick up a few more caches before the Christmas indulgence begins. I noticed these newer caches and so headed this way. Parked close by and found the cache almost immediately. Quite close to muggle dwellings but maybe just enough cover provided to not arouse suspicions. Time will tell I guess. Signed the dry log and returned as found. Thanks for the cache jefraser.
Cache # 4,039 - a quick find in the second place searched. Nice to grab after a supposedly easy cache nearby became a DNF as the container was missing. TNLNSL. TFTC!

I wouldn't have assumed those were hurdles because of the odd angles but I wouldn't have assumed them to be for any other purpose either. They're just weird! I made a quick stop here to pick off one more of the new caches around here not realizing it was just along from the cache I got the other day in the same reserve.
jefraser certainly seems to have been busy lately. The new caches I signed in the weekend up in the hills were also jefraser caches and I hadn't realized the connection until now. Good work; appreciate the effort!

Decided it was time to find the Pokemon container, so on a fine night I set off. I often drive past this location and, I hate to say, I didn’t realise a park was there. The GZ is away from the eyes of muggle passers-by. Love the container. TFTC
#9683. Interesting to see these hurdles in Taita. The trail was all quiet when we visited, but GZ was quite close to neighbours on both sides of the trail though. Fortunately a quick find. The cache was in excellent condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.

Selesi, Gilgul and I were well and truly muggled by a neighbour on south side who directed us to exactly where the cache was. They had seen huhugrub finding it earlier in the day. Selesi did a good job of explaining geocaching. TFTC
Walking through from Fraser park, following the trail of new caches. This was first stop and an easy find. I suspect the container won't last long out in the elements.

I was out this way today so decided to grab the new caches that have sprung up in the last couple of days. No worries here. TFTC
I have a feeling that caches may not last all that long in this area so decided to head out and score them while they were still new. Found all of them very quickly, the coordinates are all nice and accurate and this one took only seconds to spot. Signed log, TFTC
Another nice quick find. Was certainly glad that we didn't have to go over the hurdles! TFTC
