Nice little lockdown stroll. Beware the near invisible rusty mattress springs nearby that can cause a bouncy accident!
Was in the nearby area and decided to come grab this cache.
Wasn’t a tough find, all good here!
Thanks!

Was out walking the dog. He waited paitiently whilst I took a bit of time finding this one. TFTC.
Just perusing my map and realised I missed logging this find from the weekend. With roadworks along the road on one entry option I headed down the side road and parked close in a quiet street. Headed down the path then to GZ and soon spotted and signed the cache as per hint. Replaced as found and back to find a dog wandering near the car, no worries though. T F T CF supernannny
Got a busy Saturday planned, as usual, but some different stuff on. I have a meet up with friends in Galbraith's Mount Eden just after lunch today and hope to have a good catch up, talk about football and enjoy a couple of pints. Nothing else this morning except make sure I'm there ready for 1.30 PM so might as well head out and make a few finds at Point Chevalier first then, seems like a plan. All was good and managed 14 caches before the catch up, and another bonus/random one after.

Found it fairly quickly, and it was like Russian Dolls ...............a container in a container. Cool little reserve here.
Geohound was getting a bit tired by the time we got to this cache so we had a quick look and found it before heading home.
Thanks super nanny . You really know the score on Auckland playgrounds! I wish I’d brought my lunch as bench near the cache is a great picnic spot. Tftc
Fortunately I have my wife with us otherwise we would never have found him. after reading the notes again, we can see that the crucial note is in there

Nice spot! Great to coming canoeing up here on a high tide, you can make it to Pasadena.
We where at western Springs park and it was a nice walk to get here.
Thanks a lot
Thanks a lot
Not sure how I missed this last time. Thanks for this one.
As an aside I discovered these diamond pics with QR codes under the bench next to this hide. Looking forward to learning what these might be.

After Antnich almost fell into the pond, he recovered and immediately found the cache!!another lovely reserve (apart from the old mattress springs that trip you up at GZ). TFTC
Caching around Auckland gives you the opportunity to delve into so many little reserves that you would otherwise not visit. This one is another little gem. The hint and coordinates are spot-on. The log is dry and there is space to write your name too – unlike some caches we've found in Auckland!
Now that I've collected all the gems, it looks likes my mission is to find 35 caches between now and 11 August. Here's #23 / 35.
Back in Auckland for more punishment - I mean work - this week. Finished for the day and headed out to find some caches to restore my sanity. A nice short walk down to GZ and a short search there too. TFTC, Biggles.

#3 today. Lovely little reserve off the main road, no one around to enjoy the beautiful day. TFTC
Yay! Level up for detective FMZ and myself in Mystery at the museum!

Final dodgy shadow spotted here with xo^8 solving the mystery at the museum. Now to find the jewels, but first, dinner! TFTC!!!

A nice cache! I like the double containers keeping it dry. Strange springy footing just about caught Stormix as we were scrounging around, turned out to be some wire grate covered in leaves and grass
In the dark on the way home from town. So many mozzies!!! Bs phone had us a little off initially but hint helped heaps the it was a quick sign, slap a couple of mozzies and dash back to the car. TFTC!
What a delightful little park this is. Didn't know it was here. Nice quick find at GZ. tftc
First for the day, we had previously cleared out a number of caches in the Pt Chev area, so thought we'd come back and extend our smiley coverage. Wasn't too hard to locate hint item, and finding the cache came quickly after. Dropped a TB off here. Tftc
Didn't take too long to find. Thought there was a trampoline near the GZ. Turns out it was a mattress. Nice, calm park on a beautiful Sunday morning. Thanks!
Very quiet here today. Easy enough find, would be tricky and slippery if it was wet. Tftc
Out at Pt Chev for a meeting, and decided to find a cache before I head home out west, and whose cache should I find- but our own Westie Supernanny. Thanks Supernanny for being a great contributor to my smiley faces, which is slowly growing
Came in to Pt Chev late this afternoon to explore Moa's Rocky Nook. Parked in Kanuka St and wandered into the reserve. Once at the nook the hint item was quickly apparent, and the cache found soon after. Thanks.
Unexpected day at work and responsibility of the daily cache brought scottie here on completion of shift. Never been here before which came as a surprise as thought it would have been stumbled upon when out running/ training for marathons - all but a distant dream now. GPS didn't want to settle so went with geo sense and pleased when the cache was located. Got back to the car just as the heavens opened.TFTC
Quiet place today. And beautiful Tui bird gave me nice concert here. TB out. TFTC
My puppy loved running around this park so she was kept busy while I walked/fell to the cache! I really enjoyed this, thanks! It was a lot easier than I thought!!
TFTC!!!!!!!!!!!

I've taken the day off work to take Miss Two to the zoo today. With a few minutes until it opens, we came to find this cache first. Thanks!
I came here today to find this cache. I had spent the morning over at my sister's house watching Sky and seeing Joseph Parker lose to Dillian Whyte in London... shame but Joseph took it well.
Anyway this cache is also very special to me as it's the very last cache to fill my grid of 366 days. Now I can sign off at least 2-3 challenges by doing so. Thanks supernanny for the cache.

Out and about making the most of a lovely day of winter by finding hides. I parked up at the end of Kanuka Road and took the path into the reserve. I crossed the grass and entered the trees to access GZ. Took a couple of moments to spot the likely area to search, but once I did the cache was soon in hand. It had become a little exposed so I recovered as instructed on the cache page. Rather slippery underfoot here at the moment. Cheers for the cache placement!
After a wee hunt as the GPS was wandering about. Mr P did the honours and we replaced the cache with care. T4tc
Parked up at the end of Kanuka St, and wandered down the path. Its getting dark now so grabbed my torch from the car. Still people walking their dogs, but used the fading daylight light to hide my activities. Another neat park, and easy find, thanks Supernanny. Picked up TB
Talking a sunny late-autumn stroll toward Point Chevalier Beach and thought i would log my first NZ cache of hopefully many. TFTC supernanny TNLN
Out and about on my bike, so stopped off to get this one. Started raining just as I arrived, so parked bike under the trees, and by the time I'd made this find and signed it, it had stopped. Dropped in a travel bug.
What a nice spot, we didn't know this reserve was here.
It had been raining for a couple of hours but fortunately this wasn't long enough to make things too slippery and the cache was soon spotted.
Thanks for another great cache supernanny, your hides bring us to some of the city's hidden gems and this is no exception.

A few doggy people in the park, but well away from the cache so no problems in getting it.

GPS spot on here. Just pity about the dead s**** who cant be bothered to clean up their rubbish...cheers V.
Changed cache container....please keep covered with the 3 rocks...
Hope stays dry....double container!

The cache is quite wet, but I was able to sign the log. Considering the location, this one could use a nice waterproof cache container. TFTC.
Last time we came here there were a number of youth enjoying a few cold ones so it was nice to be able to return with no one else around. There's a wee wasp nest and our chosen point of entry into GZ so I sent Ryan in as the last few stings I have suffered turned bad. No problems in him locating the cache, thanks
#230 out for dinner on Tui Rd and with a cache only 300m away I couldn't resist the temptation. Took the kids to the playground to begin with before sneaking off to pick up a quick cache. No worries finding this, SLTFTC
I had to wait out a dog walking muggle as her dog decided to come over and investigate what I was doing so I pretended to be collecting pine cones.... there were plenty of them around here. Once she'd moved on I quickly found the cache
Second find for the new year. As I was in the area, I couldn't pass up on another cache nearby. Thanks supernannny.
Was meeting up with my sister and nephew at the zoo, and having some time to kill and it being a dot day I headed out to find a few caches nearby. Found this nice little park and walked to the end. Ducked under the cover, away from muggles nearby to locate the cache. Nice to see lots of people out enjoying the fine weather
We were in the area returning a Christmas present that had been left at our house, so stopped by to collect this cache. A few young families in the playground, but they did not notice us as we carried on down the path towards GZ. Quickly found at the hinted spot.
I have set myself a challenge for this year to have at least the same number of caches on each day of my calender as the number of years I have been caching.
Today the target is eleven but I might sign off off one or two more if I have time between three appointments.
Had to wait until a young muggle disappeared first.
Cheers for the cache.

A nice spot for a cache - thankyou SuperNanny! (apart from the discarded mattress that looks like a rock).
And I grabbed a couple of the nearby munzees too
And I grabbed a couple of the nearby munzees too
There were lots of muggles have drinks right by GZ so didn't want to compromise the cache so have added to the list to return at some stage
Solved a mystery cache which is not so far away so decided to add this on to the trip. We're on strictly limited ventures at the moment so this was ideal - wandered down the path and caching on the phone which tried to put me rather further than I needed to go. Mrs Tuolei called me back to the hint item and yes, there it was.
Someone has thrown away an old mattress nearby which in the early summer weather is starting to hum (in the stinky sense, it's not literally humming). I'm not sure what goes through someone's head to decide "I know I'll take that old mattress down and throw it away in our lovely local park".
Anyway, no need for a lie down so no problem avoiding it, signed the log and popped back in place. All good here, thanks for the cache.

Saw this come out last night....followed by an almost instant FTF. Damn that was quick. Detoured round here this morning on my way to work to discover the awesome wee reserve...another that I never knew existed.. and walked thru for the STF. Happy with that. TFTC and for continuing my daily streak (Day #324)
Off to grab this after work. Arrived near GZ and saw some people heading off in the opposite direction. I Thought Great, I may have a chance to grab it before they do... Well - Not so fast there kiddo. I was right on top of GZ when I heard some voices... Joint Find, nice to meet you Alpenmilch80 and Evilno9. TFTC
Evilno9 claimed the FTF last night and joined me once more today being in the area. Yes, I can confirm his FTF . Great meeting you at GZ Panatech. TFTC
I'd just dropped off liketips in town after a hard fought game of social sports when I noticed the new cache notification pop up - as this one was mostly on my way home I thought it would be worth a look so headed over to see how I'd get on.
Noticed that the park wasn't looking too busy which was encouraging and headed over to GZ with no one else around. Nipped under the trees and managed a quick find in the first place I tried and got a blank logsheet for good measure. Nice to grab a fortunate FTF in a nice little area - TFTC
