Hi Aussie Liahona,The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention, or it may not but in the absence of the cache owner performing maintenance and/or disabling the cache to check it out, I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 4 weeks) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.If you require more time please be sure to **post a note** (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require. Unfortunately I couldn't find this today. Checked out the obvious spots based on previous logs but it wasn't to be.
Accio 11:18:42An awesome weekend away, spending a lot of it in cemeteries - like this one - no worries here. Bold. Thanks Aussie Liahona for entertaining me at this location. *{Overall find #11556}*
Last day of our Long weekend ... and here we are at yet another cemetary. Good thing I love the peacefulness. Cache was quickly found, but I found the segregation approach a little sad.
As long as I was out here, I should complete the tour before heading back into town, right? Thanks for the cache!
Out with Peppa for another Tuesday caching adventure this time I had a plan. With the current Wheel of Challenges still running, I chose to visit Byron Bay area to pick up most of the caches needed to qualify. An early start and we were playing I-Spy on the way as well as catching up on all the latest gossip.
Always enjoy visiting cemeteries and this was certainly a big one!! 3 caches here!!
Making our way to GZ passing the many graves of the pioneers interred here.
Found the cache, log signed cache returned.

A play day with Patrol14 and she suggested Byron Bay to help with the current GC Wheel of Challenges Icon Hunt… suits me, a little further south and I venture into fresh LGAs… and these days it’s all about the LGAs…
Having left Brisbane well before a decent hour we played I-Spy down the M1 while discussing a plethora of current issues…
We then cached from Brunswick Heads south to Evans Head enjoying a great day out…
Sometimes you can judge the size of the cemetery before you arrive by the number of caches it contains…
A quick find and we were on our way again…
Thanks Aussie Liahona ??

On our way to Byron Bay for lunch and a look around today, such a busy place! Stopped into Ballina on the way to grab 2 unexpected FTF's.
I managed to get this one without leaving the car, I think this is a first for me!
Nice hide, TFTC!

Visiting from New Zealand for a family gathering in Byron Bay. Headed out for an early morning walk before it gets too hot. Always enjoy exploring cemeteries. Interested that different denominations are given their own area. GOS had me across the road but soon realised there weren’t too many places that fulfilled the hint. Cache and log all fine. Thanks Aussie Liahona for the smiley
This weekend, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I travelled south to Byron Bay for a long weekend getaway.
On Saturday, we visited the Bangalow markets, Newrybar, and then walked at Killen Falls. It was then a drive along the coast via Lennox Head, Whites Beach and then checking in at Suffolk Park.
On Sunday, we started the day with a hike in Goonengerry National Park before having a late breakfast in Byron Bay. We perused the town's shops, enjoyed Suffolk Park's beach, and then returned back to Byron Bay for dinner.
Finally on Monday, we visited The Farm in Byron Bay, and then later saw the lighthouse at Cape Byron.
Today, it was an early morning start to drive to Goonengerry National Park and subsequently walk the Goonengerry waterfalls trail. An enjoyable start to the day and great to see the top of the falls along the ridge. We then drove back to Byron Bay for breakfast via Mullumbimby, and then walked around the shops of Byron Bay. We decided it was beach time, so after making a quick stop at Tallow Beach to have a moment's silence for the ex-Project A.P.E. geocache, we returned to Suffolk Park and had a play on a nearby beach. In the late afternoon, we checked out Bolli Point walking the boardwalks in that area, and then had dinner in Byron Bay where we had a play on the beachside reserve.
Calling past Byron Bay Cemetery, we couldn't help but appreciate the setting of the memorials set in amongst the environment and trees. We stopped right next to GZ, and made the quick find of this nicely disguised camouflage. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. We had a short walk around, and I found the birds/parrots on the tree rather interesting. Thanks Aussie Liahona for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

Earthly65, Robbieracer66 and I blitzed a few caches in Byron last night and we had so much fun. Navigating this unique cemetery in the dark was hilarious and slightly alarming. Thanks for bringing us to this special place of remembrance.
Watawieh from Norfolk Island South Pacific.
Todays geo-adventure was a drive to Ocean Shores, Bangalow & Byron Bay finding geocaches, visiting Waymarks & capturing Munzee’s. I found it strange that the burials were done according to one’s religious denomination. Aren’t we all going to the same maker? TFTC
I found the cache in pieces on the ground. I reassembled it but one of the magnets is missing. It needs a little TLC.

10th find of the day. 8th while driving home from visiting my Muggle Sisters. TFTC, TFTH & TFTSF
We came here today to check on this one and sadly found it was missing. Please know that caches cost their CO’s and replace the caches carefully making sure any magnets have a good grip.
Cheers and happy caching!

My phone nav was going crazy. I looked for quite a long time on the gate and nearby signs but no luck for me! Thats the second DNF in a row!

As the family rested before our afternoon cape walk, Samuel and I ducked out for a few finds - we went for this little group around the cemetery. Another quick one - looks to have been recently replaced, felt like an FTF! TFTC....

This geocache had disappeared sadly. I didn’t have the exact replacement with me so I have left a different type of log container here in place until another time. Same co-ords. Please handle carefully and try not to break it please.

Everywhere we go we stumble upon your ‘resting’ caches. Couldn’t resist looking for these as we are heading from Byron to Bangalow today! Thanks!
Clever little hide. Wouldn’t have found it without the hint. Watch out for the spider webs

DreamerSkye and I were exploring Byron Bay this weekend. With good weather and a sense for adventure, where else would we go!? Such a beautiful part of the universe
We woke up this morning and visited a few over populated beaches. It was nice then to come here and feel serenity. No noise, just the wind rustling in the trees and the birds singing.
A quick find at GZ. I left our marks and we continued on.
Thanks for the cache Aussie Liahona

Hmmm, weather looking a bit ordinary around the southside of Brisbane & our son mentioned he was heading to Byron Bay for a spot of R & R so south it was ... there has to be sunshine somewhere today, even if we have to go interstate to find it!
#7 of 10 finds today.
A quick find for Mrs VC here.
Clever hint.
Made our mark & replaced as found.

The ultimate goal today was Surfers Paradise / Gold Coast, but first we made a detour to Byron Bay and logged some caches there! Thanks and greetings!

We spent the weekend in Byron Bay. Because of the strong wind almost all our planned activities had to be canceled. So there was enough time for geocaching.
Thanks to all owners for hiding and maintenance of their caches!

Rolled down a quiet country lane and weaved around the cruisers on two wheels. Bryon is awash with cyclists A few caches in the old cemeteries...
What a lovely shady spot for eternal rest. ‘tho I only intend to stop here briefly. Spotted about a dozen decoys before following the arrow to the caches which is surely nicely camoed A FAVE point for creativity.

It surprises me how segregated our cemeteries are. All the denominations have their own little area. When I got to GZ a family were close to where I needed to be, but they left only a minute later. So I was able to retrieve the cache with no one watching.
Another great spot for a cache, thanks Aussie Liahona!

On our first trip to Byron Bay and I'm trying to explain to deaf Muggle son what we are looking for but he doesn't listen to me and goes off where he thinks it might be so I made the quick grab. Log signed and cache replaced as found. TFTC
Out for a drive on such a lovely winters day with awesome scenery all around the district whilst enjoying picking up a few caches along the way.
Terrific camo here, had to find a bush ToT to get hands on it and managed its return to same spot.

Apart from the Mozzies it was a very quiet and peaceful resting place. Glad we came. TFTC
GPS jumping all over the place but didn’t take long to find after checking the hint. TFTC
A quick drive today from Grafton and setup at Ballana caravan park before we turn around and start heading back to canberra for the Mega. A lovely day around Lennox head and Byron Bay and the outskirts of Ballana.
With our basecamp at the Alstonville showgrounds we headed off towards the coast to get some caches. The wall walk and the lighthouse beach walk at Ballina were wonderful but given the great selection of hides and locations we were kept entertained all day. This was one of the caches we targetted and found. Thankyou Aussie Liahona for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area
Another top cache. The GZ was quiet today so was able to sign the log without disruption and continue the series. Thanks!
Boxing Day today, having a quiet day after big family Christmas and thought I’d take the bike out to find some caches. DNF on the first two but was happy to spot this one easily. Have never been to the cemetery despite my sis living a few hundred meters away. Thanks!
Found @ 1330 hrs
A nice quick park and grab. Once the cache was in hand we sat and reflected on all the people that had passed on.
