Happened to be meeting fellow geocachers in Devonport, so I headed out early to find the caches in Hauraki. A few muggles playing on the far court, but they were oblivious to me searching. Had a good look but alas no cache.
Well at last a G2 cache that is really only a 1.5D rating. Corods bang on and nice first find after work for first cache of today. Just enough protection from any muggles that makes for a reasonable search that could otherwise be intimidating.

Sorry if this log entry wasn't clear enough. It is supposed to mean "thumps up", we thought this was obvious. Sorry again!
Cool one. Great hide!!! Found together with Greenkiwikids and signed as Team Piraten. Tftc
Got to GZ and was looking at the cache not realising it was the cache. Great camo. Thanks G-2
Despite the bad weather there were a lot of muggles on the tennis courts today, including the one right beside GZ, so we had to be very careful.
Fortunately they were too focused on their game to pay us any attention and we managed to find, sign and return the cache with no issues.
Thanks G-2.

Easiest find of the day thanks to the excellent hint. No one playing tennis today. TFTC
Met up with Merlot58 who is housesitting in the area. Quick find here even with lots of muggles playing tennis nearby. The hungry rabbits must have eaten the log along with the avocados so we added a new waterproof log for future finders to sign.
A quick find as I headed back with Mrs Jag. The log was missing so we replaced it
Some people say that this hobby is not "all about number", how wrong they are. Especially when you set a personal challenge to keep your interest in this great hobby going. Over the years I have done this and this year (well it goes until 29/2/2020) is no different. So on to most caches that I can find.
A couple of the 10S ladies were watching me doing my thing here.
Cheers for the cache.

Continuing along with our walk today and quickly made an easy find here this afternoon.
Having set myself a personal caching goal for the year (or at least whats left of it) I thought I had better crack into it and start collecting so that hopefully the last 6 months of the years is far more productive than the first 6 months. So heading up to collect a few caches around Devonport area nice and early meant leaving not to early, 5am and home by 2pm, so managed to avoid most of the peninsula traffic that is an absolute nightmare.
Great collection of caches and hides to be had, and ever grateful for the toolbox of magic tricks in the boot of the Geowagon that enabled me to collect a number of the more interesting caches. So all in all 41 successful finds today. All caches today signed "CD" to save log space.
The place was all quiet as parked here along Bayswater Road and made the walk to the caches nearby. Pleased with the quick find and well diguised cache.
Thanks to all the CO's for their contributions, thanks for the cache.

Mrs Tuolei is not one for needing to read hints or zone in on GZ with a phone or gps, while I wandered about she walked up to the cache and said this must be it and sure enough that was the cache. As usual, a sneaky little G--2 cache, always a bit special when you get a quick and easy find off this fiendish CO's hides.
On first read I wondered if this was a different Brian but no. At work my largely millennial staff try to tell me that older people don't use the internet or computers which is of course complete BS. Good to see Brian helping folks out and you're right, geocaching would be a great activity.
Thanks for the cache, all good here.

Hadn't even read the hint on this one but walked up to it and had hands on it straight away. Just down the road from where we are staying. Log signed b&p. Find number 4359.
Thanks for the cache G-2.

A plan was hatched to head out this way with NZ Travellers, cragger, laval and NZIceman to get some more smiles. We managed to get completely soaked through and windswept but had heaps of fun.
Unfortunately as the last cacher has noted the container is in need of some help but we didn't have anything to use with us. Mrs NZT has taken a photo and will send it through.
Thanks for the cache.

After a couple of days of rain and lots of snacking we decided some fresh air and a stretch of the legs was needed today. The weather wasnt really conducive to lots of lovely caching but it did keep the muggle count down during our hunting! Was joined by Keylev, Cragger, Hellobird1e and Laval today so signed the logs as SEAC 6 today as there were 6 in our mad caching party. Had loads of laughs and got horribly wet, but nothing a hot shower, dry clothes and dinner wouldn't fix later on!
Found partial cache, needs some TLC. TFTC!

Came this way after finding the new cache over near Hart Rd, and decided one more before heading home. Cache is missing the bottom half with the log just tucked up inside the lid. Replaced the lid face down so log is out of view. TFTC
Beautiful day to head out and pick up some smilies. Almost wandered past nonchalantly when something caught my eye... no sign of Brian today though. TFTC
Parked up nice and close and took a wander to GZ. Cache soon located and replaced the right way up so as not to be too noticeable. Love the idea of these types of centres so people can stay connected. TFTC
The sign says for over 50's, but I still don't qualify. Fortunately, there is no minimum age for finding this cache. TFTC.
Unintentionally ended up catching the school exiting traffic, making for a long slow trip along to GZ. Tennis lessons were already underway for youngters - perhaps to make their fortunes in the future. Pleased the mobile rang creating a great distraction. Cache quickly located, signed and replaced. Now to tackle the traffic flow heading North- can you believe it, there are maintenance checks halting everything at 1600hrs, somebody has a sick sense of humour!! TFTC
Phew !
An easy G-2 cache !
Was on the Shore visiting my Aunt at Rest Home,,, so came here too...
Sorry not to meet Brian in the alley way...maybe I should join the Senior Net Club!

After dropping the elder Future Finder off at school, nearby, I thought I would make a small detour and collect this new local hide on my way back home. I didn't have my GPSr on me and my phone crashed as I arrived at GZ, so I was caching based on my memory of the cache page. This proved sufficient as I still managed to execute a super quick find here. I think I spent more time spooling the rubberband around the logsheet than actually searching for the container. Cache blends in nicely, but is easily detected by the cacher's eye. Cheers for the cache placement!
Well... caches came out, I was rather hoping they would, I'm looking for my March {FTF} and yet again our exuberant, salubrious, and always effervescent mate the One and Only never fails to disappoint! I must sit down one day and see how many FTF's I have gotten on Glyn's caches! Thanks very much for that G!
So as I say, this cache came out along with a few others. So I rang up, me ol' ftf caching buddy the illustrious, notorious and infamous FMZ and requested his company on yet again another caching mission! Well, off course, he said yes... he too wanted his March ftf. So I rushed around to pick him up, headed over to this cache first. We wondered if kiwicouple might be in the hunt too for the same March ftf. But apparently not tonight... we arrived at GZ, using head torches and it didn't take long before FMZ found the cache before us. Well spotted! Also well hidden. Nice work there G! Now off to another one of your caches to see how we go....

Saw some caches come out just as I was cleaning up after painting my roll cage with primer. Then my phone rings - Gorby wanting to see what's up. So off we went into... the rain as it happened. It let up for us though when we got here for a quick find and joint [FTF]. Cool camo. FTF #2xxx TFTC!!!
