We found the "gnarly dude" but came up empty. Not even a spider in evidence today.
Nice walk though.
Thank you, ziggiau

I was in the area today for something else so thought I would try to find a few caches. No luck with this one as whenever I approached I was attacked by mynahs and a butcher bird that were actually hitting me on the head! So I gave it up fairly quickly. They must be nesting in the tree or very close by! Thanks ziggiau.
Escaping (allowed now) the house lockdown due to Covid19. Walked to this cache on a beautiful sunny, but cool, winters day. Found with Geobrother. TFTC ziggiau
if ever there was a "gnarly dude" it's probably me! LOL Great walking and cacheing day with the GeoBro
Coords led us in circles a bit but soon found a likely hide with promised camo. SL replaced camo between muggles. TFTC
We forgot a pen (as usual) the navigation didn’t quite help but upon some investigating it was easy to find
#1992 Third of five finds with Rieka to complete the caches along the M5 walkway. Found after a short search. TFTC
#4800:
I haven't seen a single muggle on this walk - delightful!
I spotted the hide on approach, but it was guarded by more spiderwebs. I used a stick to grab the cache, and then signed it. TFTC. Thank you for contributing to my 4800th geocache find!
A shame these are so spread out, as there's plenty of room for more caches en route.

9th cache found in New South Wales City of Canterbury-Bankstown.

I just kept walking till I got here. Peaceful spot. I took last spot on the log so left small paper for next few finders. TFTC.
Couldn't find at first so went and grabbed another cache. On my way back to the car I realised I'd been looking in the wrong spot and soon had cache in hand. TFTC
Nice hide maybe a bit too obvious so I added a 3cm offset. Still obvious to a cacher but muggle might not see it. Thanks for the cache!
A quick spot, I always walked straight past it but luckily I was at the right angle to see it, thank you
Not the first to find this one today.
Got checked out by people where we parked then started out on this nice walk in the hunt for gems

Busy day for this lovely walk. Found this with the geopup whilst walking around the area. TFTC!
Star Wars Day . R2D2 would have had a better chance of finding it sooner. Lovely placement. Cheers !
We found what we thought was the right place and lifted the kids up but couldn’t find it.
Today a little bit around in the area to look after Caches.
Here we can find quickly.
Thank you and greetings from Germany send Moorhelmi

ziggiau I found your cache Just Keep Walking #2 - Revived on 9/2/19, 10:00 am. This is my find 2257 and find # 2 today. Second time here and after reading previous logs had an idea where it would be. This time after a short search had CIH. Thanks for the cache! TNSLLN
Found with Crinklypear5. Another that took longer than it should have as the GPS was all over the place here. After reading some previous logs I foubd the right GZ and quickly came up with the goods. Tftc!
We kept walking from Just Keep walking #3, and this was the first spot we checked, but didn't find. After a while the GPS had us back to the same spot and we did a more thorough search and soon had the CIH.
A really cool location and a good clue.
I decided to clear out some caches along this section of the m5 today.
Thanks.

Grrrrr, I don't like you anymore. Great hiding place, but was not so keen on the method to get cache in hand! After attempting several 'easier' retrival options I decided to grit my teeth and hope for the best. However, log is signed!
P.S. I found the original cache a few yrs back whilst scootering with the kids and muggle friends. Today was just a quick park n grab though.

Found on the 14/8/18. Had to go back a second time to look again, and I managed to find it after looking for a while. Really, really well hidden, and by far my favourite cache of this series! TFTC!!!
Deep_99 and I struggled at this cache but then Deep came up with the goods. SL #3649 on streak day #2205 TFTC
Found with Ris768 after searching for a while then looked at the right location & reached inside. Thanks Ziggiau for placing this cache

Out walking with ziggiau and pixie today, getting some previous replaced and new ones today.
Quick find on a very scary location. TFTC!

We targeted Riverwood for a nice geocaching walk on a shiny Saturday. Gnarly, indeed. We poked around at GZ, wider, the back at GZ. It wasn’t until Mrs Gaztek was the brave one to really reach that the container was located. Very well tucked away. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
WOW. cashe and log in good condition. I was walking around the big tree for some time as the GPS bounced me around. look south from the path and you will need to put your hand in there.
Aries44 and self were over Bankstown way and had planned to grab a couple caches in the area today.
Read some previous logs and a comment about the coords. A further search ensued and another likely spot was found. A44 managed to retrieve the container. We did the signing and put it back. TFTC ziggiau.

The PQ's I had done didn't show up on my GPSr for some reason so we had to wing it a bit with my phone. We spotted a likely place and after a search decided that wasn't it. Read some previous logs and a comment about the coords. A further search ensued and another likely spot was found. I managed to retrieve the container. We did the signing and I put it back. The last time I searched for this a fence blocked my path. Glad it's been moved and a clever hiding spot to boot! TFTC
Came by train and walked up Penshurst Rd, no need to cross.
I didn't use the GPS.....at first. As I entered the park I headed to a likely looking tree and searched but found nothing so I turned on the GPS and tried both sets of co-ordinates which had me circling the trees and returning to the first one so I tried it again. Still nothing.
Hmm the train trip had taken an hour so I wasn't giving up and returned for a 3rd time to the first tree.
Finally it revealed its secret!!!
Signed the log and rehid the cache in its very sneaky hide.

This was the last on our list today, but despite a lengthy search, it did not come to hand.
Maybe next time.
Maybe next time.
2nd attempt with master geodad, who was confused for quite awhile - we even had geokid 10 climbing trees but alas, it was a fraction easier if your game. Certainly not a spot geomum and geokids saw or looked in the other afternoon
Awesome hide, tftc

Bit confused on this one - geokids and geomum will bring the master (geodad) back to get some ideas

Last cache for the year.
Arrived at the park, despite Goggle Maps telling me I needed to take and stop on the M5!
I remember this park for a few finds previously - one I think not too far from this one (aka the original *JKW2*).
Input the alternate coordinates so I had a choice. In the end preferred the CO's corrected ones.
My, even with my Cachesenses telling me it must be there it took something snapping (not me fortunately) before my fingers made the find.
Took away to complete signing duties, then back for the replace via a memorial nearby.
A good year's caching - over 1000 finds. I managed to meet my year's goal - a find on each calendar day for each year in which I've cached - ie 5 finds per day. But my main problem is that I'm running out of caches nearby - hint to all: please place more. Lots more...
Happy New Year ('s Eve) - well, New Year ***is*** still 7 hours away.

Quick find today. There was only one place it really could have been...great hiding spot. Used a tool of the trade to probe the area and then like a poker machine paying up the cache dropped out. Ding ding winner. Signed the log and returned as found.
Thanks for another great cache in this series ziggiau!
