It looks like the CO has abandoned this cache, it probably needs archiving.
We spotted the tell-tale securing hardware but no cache! GZ is a busy smoking area for Bunnings staff.

Came back to DIY and decided to have another go at this one. Easy find but hard to camouflage given the recent tree trim.

Found the other day with my old buddy luie20.... was actually my 300th but couldn’t log at the time TFTC!
Found today after attending the CITO event, and stopped for lunch before heading off for the next cache.
Oz Geomuster 2019 Wollongong at Cataract Scout Park. Day four was another day of caching around Wollongong wit Fitzy and MinnieK. We started by finishing the Wollongong LAB caches up near the Bulli lookouts and then went to the Pt Kembla CITO. After that it was a fun day of getting caches that a few of us as possible had not done before.
After the mornings formal activities were over, it was time to get into some local caches. It was made more entertaining by meeting up with different groups of cachers at each place we stopped.
Thanks.

Day three of the OZGM19 Mega saw fitzy_1965, Alibida33, GSC2000, Nibletricecakes and myself heading back down into the Wollongong area for the day. Started the day off in Port Kembla with the CITO.
One CITO duties were done we just cached our way back to camp at Cataract Dam.
This one wasn't found so quickly....in fact, I messaged the CO to see if we could replace it as there was a large group of us hoping to find it. Whilst waiting to hear, we headed over for lunch nearby. Finally got permission so did so once lunch was complete.
Thanks k.e-a_26. We definitely appreciate you letting us make the find.

Out adventuring with Joolay Kittykatch and Smitten Granny on my first full day at the Mega in Wollongong. Such a diversity of caches today, with CITO’s Puzzles, Trads and even the odd Trig. Thanks everyone for the awesome day!

Signed this and went off to McDonalds with other geocachers for lunch. Then I wandered over to the garden of the Warrawong Plaza on the corner of King and Cowper Streets. I used to sleep there...
No I wasn't sleeping rough . There used to be flats above the shops in the old building, and when I was young we lived in the corner flat on the first floor. Where our flat was, is a garden space now. I left there when I was 3.5 years, but I can still remember some things. Such as over the back fence was an open area and the circus would set up there, with their elephants, which would swing their heads and trunks over our fence. I can now say I had elephants in our back garden .

After sending messages backwards and forwards, we were given the word by the CO that the cache could be replaced. So having enjoyed our lunch, masses of chatting and log signing nearby, we traipsed back to GZ where cache was reinstalled. TFTC
Cache replaced with permission of CO. Picked up quite a bit of rubbish as well. TFTC
Found with Canberra crew while attending the Oz Geomuster. Quick fix after a chat to the CO. TFTC
Busy when searching, no luck with this one today. We gave up and went to have an ice cream instead...but will be back to turn the frown upside down.
My dad and I looked in the trees on the ground for ages but didn’t find the cache.
This one was too good for us today. A Bunnings chap on his break said he often sees people fossicking around without much luck.
Lots of rubbish to contend with but good to get a bit of distance towards one more circumference.
Thanks for the hide.
Thanks for the hide.
Catching up on some logging following our adventures at the 2018 OZ GeoMuster here in Lake Macquarie. Log book has been signed. Thanks for the cache hide.
Nearly a P&G this morning but was hampered by a nearby smoker having a puff before work.
Once the smoke had cleared I continued the search which soon revealed the hide. Visited a TB. TFTC k.e-a_26.

Found -- 2:25pm -- SL Thanks for the hunt and Thanks for bringing us here to this location KEA26.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape but found getting the log out challenging.
**The Cache**
This wasn't quite as the cache says with an easy spot and grab from the top of a certain thing at GZ. I placed it lower and covered it well.
**The Day**
Went to work early and left at lunchtime for a run down to "Port K" for a pick up of goods. Pleased to have been able to collect a couple of caches on our way, and were surprised at how quickly I found them. Then it was a quick ride home to collect the Sprouts.

Found with nissan 65. Nice quick pick up just before lunch. Thankyou for the cache
Had to wait for a truck to finish its delivery at JB. Geocaching in the Illawarra after a morning uni exam. TFTC

I had to wait out a smoking Muggle from the nearby store... it looks like this is the Hidey hole where they like to go for a break.... 2 dirty cigarettes later, and it was Cache in hand...
Cheers

A previous finder sat back and watched me do my search, really not feeling the mojo today I looked at one side with no luck so changed sides to find the cache sitting there right in front of me,
Thanks k.e-a_26 for the cache !!
Thanks k.e-a_26 for the cache !!
Would have been a quicker find only a guy in a garbage truck was parked right next to GZ and watching. I thought it would be muggle free at 5.30 on a Sunday morning.
When he went to Macas I made my move. There is a lot of junk here which made the container blend in but I made the find, signed and replaced.
Don't like scratching around these places in this hood as there can be needles. Just sayin.

I was sitting here not able to remember what used to be here... Read the rest of the log and it all came back to me. I even bowled here once or twice.
Eventually even found the container I was looking for.

My day off had me picking off some of the relatively new caches in the area.
I was unsuccessful last time but this time I was armed with a bit more of an idea of where it could be. A quickly located find - TFTC

We park almost at GZ, with a short search we came up with a fond. Happy New year. TFTC
Heading home from a weekend away, we made a quick detour to find this cache.

Another day, a quick find. I swear the cache was not where I found it in two minutes this morning the day before! Nonetheless, smiley gained. TFTC!
Had been planning on leaving this “closest unfound to home” for my New Year’s Eve souvenir but with some friends willing to head out of town to attend a couple of guaranteed events that will serve that purpose, decided to tick this one off the list tonight while I was in the area running some DIY decoration errands for a New Year’s Day event I’m also hosting. Easy parking just before 9pm but a few hoons hanging around the FAST food outlet meant I had to be extra stealthy in the dark using my phone torch.
No luck here today at lunchtime- I was careful where I put my hands as seemed like a bit of a dodgy spot for that sort of thing. The XS size worried me too but I'll be back.
The loading dock for JB HiFi was buzzing with activity thanks to Boxing Day Sales!
This meant I had to abandon my search. I'll have to return.

Joint [FTF] with Snoopy1976 at 16:05. Down in the area today for Christmas lunch and saw this published, after heading to a nearby FTF we headed off and found this one. TFTC
Witht the roads busy in the holidays, I more often take the Warrawong way home then the Albion Park one, so this made this one an easy drive by.
