Didn't manage to get to Kingston over Easter, so decided to archive this one, and rethink a new hide in the vicinity.Abbykitt and AnnieLin
Found with StreetWalkerNZ on day 2 of our geocaching trip down south. Today we are travelling from Twizel to Te Anau, the day started with clear blue skies (but rather chilly) and ended in rain as we neared our destination.
With rain threatening, after a quick look, we decided to leave it for the return journey. While walking, I was able to glean from the logs that we should be looking by the big rock so made a quick find when we returned. Found both caches in very poor state, neither log was signable. The systema (replacement cache?) had a largish plastic bag shoved in it which meant that the lid couldn't close, so removed it and place the cache on top of the bag and closed the lid. TFTC.

#18813. We missed this one on the way up the track, but good log researching by Troodles lead to a quick find on the way back. TFTC.
Out enjoying wallking a bit of the ATM path. Nobody but me here so made a nice quick find. TFTC
**Found on our February - March tour around the South Island. Logging back home in Auckland in Lockdown isolation**
A bit of a tiki tour for us today, travelling from Winton to Te Anau and Lake Manapouri, and then back to overnight in Lumsden.
Visiting Kingston this afternoon, we went for a walk along the cycleway. We stopped for this cache, and to admire the view from here. Lovely, thanks.

Gorby contacted me on Monday asking if I wanted to join him and Rebel98 on a trip to Queenstown for a long weekend. As I already had a week off in between jobs I was free to join them. We travelled from Queenstown to Te Anau, up the Milford Rd as far as we could, over to Cromwell before returning to Queenstown. Many adventures were had and many wonderful gems discovered. We signed with a variation of our own names or R. A. G.
We were heading south towards Te Anau and stopping for caches along the way. We stopped in Kingston, hoping to find accommodation but they were booked out for a wedding. While we were here we located a couple of caches before continuing.
Not sure if a dog found the containers and left his mark, but it wasn't the nicest to have to open. Log still dry though.

Away for a long 3 day, 4 night weekend again, with Rebel98 and Aiden29. We have in mind Queenstown, down to Te Anau, Manapouri, as far as we can up towards Milford and later Cromwell. We had some great adventures and some hot and weary walks and a lot of fun.
Continuing along this cycle way, we came here. Aiden went in to find the cache under the huge rock and reported there were 2 caches about 500mm apart, so after putting up with the urine, we put the 2 together for others to 'enjoy'. Now on to the final for 'Wakatipu Steam History'.

Sun was behind the hill but it was still warm with no wind. A lovely walk. Thanks to the cache owner !

After my drive around this morning and coming back to my snail shell for lunch I decided to get the bike to locate and sign off the remaining caches in Kingston.
I didn't open the Little Black Box.
Cheers for the cache.

Sun had just set when we arrived here, which would have been stunning from this location. New cache container is here, along with the old one, so was able to sign the log.
Nice find with Twosharpe. Lovely evening for a stroll, but no one around. Found both containers. TFTC
What better way to spend an afternoon after arriving in New Zealand than going out and finding some geocaches? Good to be outside to acclimatise on a great sunny day. Pleased to see a few more geocaches in Kingston since my last visit.
Mumander and I got the bikes out for a short trip along the Round the Mountains cycle trail for this one and some of the other new caches along that way. I did cycle the trail to Fairlight before the caches were placed, it was a long journey due to a faulty bike which meant I walked most of the way. Luckily this time it was much easier. Thanks

We are making our way to Te Anau today. Picking up plenty of caches, as we go, trying to log them all, thanks to all the placers

As phone battery and daylight was running out, had a quick look and failed, rushed on to Pipe Dreams and worked out way back, and a quick find 2nd time round. Thanks for helping with a 14km walk today. And yes... i finally reached Pluto!!!
Grass was soaking wet and very chilly at GZ tonight, initially we didn't find this. Went further along the track, found a few more, then came back for another crack in the fading light and hey presto! TFTC
Second look after going up the track a few more caches. Glad and relieved to find.
On a planetary pursuits drive, up the road and back, with SW & TT
Thanks for hiding this cache

Found 08 Jan 18 Picked a luvly day to walk the cycle trail testing some of the new puzzles/caches in Kingston published over the holidays. Noice big spot for a cache. Moved a bit of the camo around before wet black cache was in hand and SL. Poured the water off again and grabbed the log in new baggy before grabbing the goods in white PVC baggy. Mentioned the condition to another finder at a recent official GC gathering that the pet food container ships water and was getting wetter in the southerly position. *Container was still in place on the 10th Feb on our pass-by heading to Qtown to drop off an ammocan.* Thanks for the new caches Abbykitt, keep up the good work. TFTC
On a road trip to Manapouri, picking up caches as we go.
A quick find in Kingston after a short walk.
