After walking north from The Fig and Bay to Settlement Point and back again, I walked south to log this one final cache for the day. I'm very glad I found it, because I ripped my favourite purple pants getting to it. (I ought to have known better than to wear them, in truth.) Anyway, there was definitely a nice view from here. Thanks for the adventure!Despite the ripped pants, this was my favourite of the day, so a FP from me.
I love this trail, have done it a few times when visiting a friend. Great views ftom the cliff top. Very cute cache.
As we made our way along the path, we noted just how great this walk is.Fantastic path and even better views. We even had some kangaroos in the nearby paddock to greet us on our arrival. Thanks tassieexpat for placing this cache here and allowing us to discover this beautiful location.Chiefton!!!
A nice view and quick and easy find.Found with Muggle Kate in a girls week end . TFTC
I am staying at the Corinella Caravan Park and I decided it was too good an opportunity to pick up a few caches on a slow day. Thank you Tassieexpat for placing this cache. The cache is in good condition and well placed to keep it away from mugglesTFTC
We are staying at Jam Jerrup for the weekend for a friend’s 60th birthday party. The party isn’t till tonight so we are spending the day caching …. Well …around the shocking weather that is! It was raining when we got up, then clouds and fog descended and we couldn’t see French Island anymore from the lounge-room of the holiday house. Finally it cleared so we set off and this was the next cache on the agenda. G went in to get this one. Nice easy cute find.

Found it on my way to our Hoilday house in Cape Woolamai work is really quiet so why not make the most of it and go caching on the island.
Sl thanks for the cache.
Sl thanks for the cache.
After tackling the nearby Reef Island series, I decided to come and collect a few of these. I'd been eying off this series for a while but never got my way down here. I had a few hours to spare and thought I'd collect as many as possible. Parking at the restaurant, I figured I had time to grab about ten or so.
At GZ, I was looking all about, only to glance at my feet, and I was standing about 10cm from the cache. I'm too sure if it fell from the tree, but I felt it didn't belong on the ground with no cover. Thanks for placing this one here, and for the warning about the cliff.

We needed some help from a previous log to find this one.
May have gotten a little close to the edge trying to find this sneaky hide!
Finally spotted what we were looking for, although perhaps not quite where it should have been.
Added our name to the log and replaced the cache in a spot that is more befitting. TFTC

Very nice view from the spot. Spoil photo as I forgot a pen. Enjoyed doing it with my friends
very cute cache! tried to find it on the way to Corinella to no avail and tried again on the way back and got it! GPS was a bit muddled. TFTC!
Beginning to think I had completely lost all Geocaching ability as I’ve had so many DNF’s today rather disturbing but nevertheless on this fantastic path along Corinella I found this one easily.

Hubby is working hard nearby while I keep the kids occupied. After shopping, a card game and a board game I got them out to do some caches. We went home for dinner of chick souvlaki and then back to caching. Kids loved the stunning sunset we had before we looked for this cache. WHO would have thought it would be so beautiful even from the the cliff. Had to use our mobile torch lights to locate. Thanks for the cache.
Another beautiful view - felt very tranquil. Cache located and signed.no hoots to be seen but lots of little blue and red birds. Oh and of course those magpies.
Found this cache a couple months ago but my phone died so I’ll log it now. make sure you bring tweezers for this cache because the paper log is hard to get out. Great cache though.
Out and about exploring with Smithies Outback for the day, great spot for a walk along the cliff top tftc
Braving this blustery day out hunting caches with The 4WD Shed. A nice cold stroll to find this one. TFTC
Very clever hide. I couldn't get log out so haven't signed but have a photo if reqd

A lovely walk along the shore in the sunshine. A quick find on the ground along the edge here. I replaced it to where I thought it should be. I dropped a limited edition pathtag in one of these caches this afternoon! But probably not the micros! Thanks for the cache tassieexpat.

Found with the geokid on our walk this mornings! He was very excited to make the find. Brand new log, signed and returned. TFTC
Went out to check this one. Found on the ground behind a tree. Popped back to where it belongs. That last storm we had certainly has added to tree debris along the track. All good. Happy hunting.

The original tree split in two. About 5m south of original. The big branch has blocked the easiest way in, so now have to use a smaller animal track a bit further south.

I'd found the previous finders log confusing as it didn't describe what I knew the cache to look like (too small for a log book). Found the cache split into two parts about a metre apart...bison (ant free) in one tree and its companion in another. Have brought home to repair. Checked caches either side to see if they needed fixing.
I have been unable to attend to cache due to covid restrictions and 5km limit. It is on my to do list

We found this not together and as a result the snails and bugs have got to the log book !
#9 for today.
A most beautiful day to tackle this line of caches, on what has to be one of the best kept secret coastlines in Victoria. It was amazingly calm, scenic and the sunset by the end of the day was just magic. Glad we stuck around for as long as we could today.
Thanks for bringing us out here tassieexpat

Trying to keep the boys away from the edge we made the quick find took a couple photos are the tide was right out so it made for some lovely photos. Replaced the cache and made our way on to the next one. Tftc
#4462 A great spot for a mini break and drink of water as we progress along this bewt trail. Soaked in the fab views and signed the log of the quickly found cache. Just had to make sure the geohounds didn't want to get too adventurous in exploring along the cliffs edge! TFTC tassieexpat.

*Cache find # 11235.*
This one was a quick find on the edge of the cliff.
Today I headed down to the Bass Coast to attend a celebrations event at Bass but before making my way there, I decided to have a look at this trail between Coronet Bay and Corinella.
My choice of transport was my bike and it was certainly a good choice.

The weather was looking good , with restrictions lifted in regional Vic I headed to Corinella via the Gurdies armed with My mask and Sanitizer, I had a great day exploring the region. There were quite a few challenging and novel hides in the area. this is one of the caches I found today. Must admit I get a little nervous on these cliff tops with the erotion.
Thanks tassieexpat for the cache.

What a great theme here and a very nice series of caches in a hidden gem of a walking path. We rode our bikes around here and were surprised at how busy it was.
Thanks for the fun here today tassieexpat.

Out to find a few caches on the first day of the New Year. My main target was a cache placed in March 2001 and once I had found that I grabbed a few others in the same area. Not as hot as some recent days so it was very pleasant to be out and about caching. I headed to an event in Bass and then on to here for my last stint of caching for the day. Left the car to the south of this one and walked to GZ. Took me a little while to see what I needed and then I had the cache in hand. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache and the series along here tassieexpat.
Up early this morning and headed across town to do the Koonwarra Parkrun, picked up a couple of cache on the way there, plus a sneaky Maccas, then completed the Parkrun. Then completed my second breakfast! in the local cafe, and off I went on a little adventure via Inverloch towards Kilcunda and a quick stop off at Coronet Bay. Lots of short walks and drivebyes. Walked around 12km and double figures of cache finds. Some great hides, thanks for the fun.
We are having a holiday in Phillip Island this week. Being the Queen's Birthday Long Weekend, coupled with some lovely weather, made it very busy, with muggles out everywhere you went. There were many people walking and riding along the trails today.
We broke out the bikes to do this interesting little trail, where we found a variety of good hides in different containers. This was a nice location to take in the sea view and make this find.
Thanks tassieexpat for all the effort of placing the cache for us to find and doing the maintenance to keep it in play
