Gave this a cursory look, being not a fan of extended searches with houses looking on. Makes me feel a little self-conscious. Anyway, my half-hearted attempt yielded no result today. Oh well.
Took us longer than it should have good thing we have a cute dog that distracts the muggles
TFTC SL - spending the arvo trying to find the caches in Coronet Bay and Corinella with the geodogs . Loving the walk along this track
We are staying at Jam Jerrup for the weekend for a friend’s 60th birthday party. The party isn’t till tonight so we are spending the day caching …. Well …around the shocking weather that is! It was raining when we got up, then clouds and fog descended and we couldn’t see French Island anymore from the lounge-room of the holiday house. Finally it cleared so we set off and this was the next cache on the agenda. We drove around to this one and enjoyed the little walk here. JMelb was the lucky one to spot it where G had already briefly looked lol

Thanks tassieexpat, another nice little hide as always. Found with Jimmytherat on a better day weather wise than yesterday, still chilly however sun is shining so all is good!
Found it on my way to our Hoilday house in Cape Woolamai work is really quiet so why not make the most of it and go caching on the island.
Sl thanks for the cache.
Sl thanks for the cache.
Took a moment or two to work out what the title meant. Needed to do some obligatory 'loitering with intent' as a group of muggles and their doggo passed by. Kicked a few bushes before stumbling on something that sort of belonged, but not really! Log retrieved, signed and replaced as found. FP for the stealth required and the cache container
I certainly needed divine guidance even if not from the pope! Was about to give up when I tried something else and there it was. Is the pope a slug? Cache a little gross and think an end is missing. Tftc tassieexpat
This cache took way too long...GPS wasn't playing nice...many shoe laces were retied, untill I eventually spied the cache. It sure wasn't a pope.
Out and about exploring with Smithies Outback for the day, great spot for a walk along the cliff top tftc
Braving this blustery day out hunting caches with The 4WD Shed. A nice cold stroll to find this one. TFTC
A nice walk this morning before the heat set in (Yes, 28° is hot for this expat Taswegian lol). Only met 1 dog out walking his muggle. Cleaned out. Happy hunting.
Located easily enough, but the cache was filled with ants and larvae, eep. It was a bit icky to retrieve the log. Lovely spot though!
Took a while to find, beautiful path to walk along and not a single soul . Thanks for placing these caches, its brought us to this area which is now a favourite place yo visit regularly.
#5 for today.
A most beautiful day to tackle this line of caches, on what has to be one of the best kept secret coastlines in Victoria. It was amazingly calm, scenic and the sunset by the end of the day was just magic. Glad we stuck around for as long as we could today.
Thanks for bringing us out here tassieexpat

While I stood there looking helplessly, wondering where to start, my daughter looked down and yelled “Found it!” Smarty Pants. Thank you for the cache!
On a road trip to Phillip Island for a couple of weeks, picking up random caches as we travel around seeing the sites. Today we visited Corinella and Coronet Bay. From the information provided we knew where it was going to be , it just took us longer than it should have to find but Mr Pooky soon spotted the hide. TFTC. The area here was deserted today.
Finally started to heat up in the day so our timing for this one was off as we had the sun directly on us. After a while the kids just wanted to keep going so we tackled this one on our back and made short work of it. Always seems easier on the return journey. Tftc
#4465 In a rare achievement, we, ok, Mrs BGF found the little sucker in the first place we looked . All our popes and dreams had come true . TFTC tassieexpat.

The weather was looking good , with restrictions lifted in regional Vic I headed to Corinella via the Gurdies armed with My mask and Sanitizer, I had a great day exploring the region. There were quite a few challenging and novel hides in the area. this is one of the caches I found today. This one took way longer than it should have, I am not a fan of caches in this type of grass, it tends to cut and I have a few scrathes to prove it. I was about to give up but a call to the CO and a hint had me heading back where I found it straght away this time.
Thanks tassieexpat for the cache.

Nice to learn different definitions of ‘Pope’- not what I first thought yet understood once it was in my hands. Easy find tftc
What a great theme here and a very nice series of caches in a hidden gem of a walking path. We rode our bikes around here and were surprised at how busy it was.
Thanks for the fun here today tassieexpat.
Ha Ha - the name makes sense now.

After my FTF attempt was aborted because it got found while I was on route, I found myself in this area with a spare 2 hours. I hadn't downloaded or planned anything, but I remembered I had a few caches along here unfound.
Took some time to find, but took even longer to open, as it was dethreaded and I struggled to open it with numb fingers
Thanks for the cache Tassie Expat

We enjoyed the walk along the track, a tad windy, enjoyed the views and the variety of hides and to a place we have not visited before..
Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks tassieexpat for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

While camped in Grantville with a group of friends I made the time to do some touring aroundo the district and collect a few caches as I went. If I’d looked a bit more thoroughly I’d have wasted less time here. Luckily the area was muggle free TFTC tassieexpat
Suscoe found this was not a pope.
It was certainly something else.
Found after a short search.
Thanks to tassieexpats for this hide.

Out to find a few caches on the first day of the New Year. My main target was a cache placed in March 2001 and once I had found that I grabbed a few others in the same area. Not as hot as some recent days so it was very pleasant to be out and about caching. I headed to an event in Bass and then on to here for my last stint of caching for the day. I had a DNF here earlier in the year so had to come back and try to put that right when I was in the area. A quick find this time as I went almost right to it! Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache and the series along here tassieexpat.
Found by Mary and David at 13:30. Wondered about the name until we found the cache. So many places to look in such a small area. Now it all makes sense. Our thanks to tassieexpat.
As we approached GZ, we were fairly certain we knew what to look for, Sure enough, we found the cleverly hidden cache. TFTC tassieexpat.

No luck for me here. After two nearby finds I tried this one. I gave it a good look but there were lots of possible options and I couldn't spot it this time. Thanks anyway.
Quick easy find on a very hot day after the cito

Our time on the track was "critter free" - no mozzies, snakes or jumping jacks, the wind took care of that and blew everything away! We loved the variety of sizes and hides, along the track.
Thanks to 'tassieexpat' for placing this cache on the geo-gameboard.

17-01-2019 - 11.32am -- Find No. 1007 - 5th find of 7 for the day for me - with dgfb33 (1 of 5) & Geogran1937 (2 of 6).
The day was cooler so we decided to heat towards Corinella to caches that were power-chair compatible for dgfb33. We had managed to get back together to find some caches none of us had found.
This one had be retrieving hand protection from my bag before I started delving into ouchy things. After a little search I noticed something that looked like what we needed. Found it I said & all turned back from their scatter searching.
Good co-ords (or similar bad co-ords) at each cache made finding easy & we only saw a couple of bike passing muggles while we were walking so had no worries about giving the game/hides away.
Cache was found, signed & returned as found. Thanks for the cache
Sorry for the late log.

We were looking for a place to enjoy a walk and a few caches today so decided to explore this track. We looked for ages for this one and the magpies enjoyed our struggle. We revisited gz on the return walk and spotted the cache straight away. Thanks for the challenging cache.
Finally got some spare time to get on the bike and grab a couple of caches.
Thanks tassieexpat FTC. I liked the hint there's a few here but which one.
Finally it give up which one or is it witch one.

Found it! I thought I did not have a hope in the dark but I eventually came up with not the pope! Didn’t have to leave the path either although I did! TFTC SL

Love the title of this cache!

Took us a little while to find this but not too many people out on the path this morning.
Thanks Tassie for this series. Long time since we cached so this easy stroll on a perfect morning was just what the doctor ordered. All the caches we found were in good order and properly hidden.

Took a couple of minutes to find the cache and twice that again to remove the log, I think the pressure of the old dude chasing me wasn't helping. Signed and replaced and that was the last I saw of him.
Thanks

Since moving from New Zealand I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches.
So far I’ve knocked off 4 of the states. VIC, SA, NSW and A.C.T
No two areas are the same here and almost every place I go is stunning. The beauty of caching is that it takes you to so many places you would never usually find.
Thank you to all the cachers out there for hiding and maintaining their caches. Especially to those who put so much effort into creating unique and fun hides.
The caches I’ve found in Australia so far have for the most part all been in great condition. Keep up the good work.
Thanks

We drove our Motorhome down here yesterday to test some alterations to it and as we had our bikes with us thought we would ride this trail and find some Caches. Using a phone and not a GPS this was not going to be easy and it proved so. . Thanks tassieexpat.
Came to Coronet Bay/Corinella for caching day. Lovely weather to visit the towns and beaches. Beautiful view of the cliffs. Found it. Thanks tassieexpact for the cache.
It took me quite a while to find this today. As it was raining solidly by now I got thoroughly soaked while I searched every tussock and tree, before I read the hint, which meant I renewed my search of the former. Eventually, despite poor reception due to the clouds causing my discomfort. Then I couldn’t find the log and thought it was missing til I examined the cache carefully. Great hunt, just turn off the rain please while I’m caching! TFTC
I got drenched hunting for this cache! This meant the finding device had poor reception which might have extended the search but in the end it wasn’t too far off! Once I found the cache I then couldn’t find the log until I gave it a good examination and found it cleverly hidden out of first glance sight.. TFTC
