WellI saw this cache pop up in a late night one more before home situation. Read the log and the frustration came flooding back Certainly had no trouble finding it with a few more caches under the belt - not sure what I was doing the first time! So glad youve stuck with this hobby, its brought many smiles to Canberra caching. Thanks for the trip down memory lane!!
As I walked up to this cache location a certain Jackson Pollock painting came to mind. Thankfully the first place I looked bore fruit, err cache. Somehow, I managed to drop a vital part of the cache hide while logging. It took me so long to find this part that I was composing the message to you, dear cache owner, offering to replace the part. Seriously it took me 10 seconds to find the cache and 10 minutes to find the missing part...TFTC dty73 and the Radiohead.
found it, im actually the original owner of this cache it was hidden by my old account eliktrikturtle before it was adopted tftc
DNF, had two extra set of eyes and only thing we found was rubbish.. not sure if someone has taken it or not!
Good luck
Good luck
Thanks . I found it with my geopup Max.I liked the camo it made for a great surprise. Appreciate all the effort in the backstory.
Overthought it and started pushing through the bush with my hands to try and find it Then I took a step back and thought about it, and the camouflaged cache was in plain sight! Smart! Tftc!!:):)
The original of this was my first cache, so it was only suitable that I came back now that I am coming back to geocaching after a long break. It took a while because I was looking in the "3m in the wrong direction" location. Found with one of The Wrigglers and a very exitable puppy.
Quick find, geobub was fascinated by the cache container but I was able to prevent her from eating it and the long grass around here!
Relatively quick find after some nearby tree fishing and street theatre. We didn’t get to have a go at the original but are glad to have been able to search (and find) this one Thanks for the lesson about a fun bit of local geocaching history!

In the spirit of reconciliation we would like to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of country on which we geocache throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We (the pants people) pay our respects to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.

Took my 4 yr old god daughter to find she wants you all to know she's going to the park. An amazing find for kids and adults alike
2nd try on this one. Was a bit tricky since it was just thrown in the bush but good cache and great camo.
Number 6 today, on my interstate trip visiting family at Mac Gregor, nice camo, tftc
Didn’t find this one, possibly because we searched at nighttime but we will search another day.
Back in the city where i started having 10 years ago. Nice to give a caches during my evening walk. Tftc
I had to be sneaky about finding this one because there was a young family playing games on the oval nearby ... but they didn't seem to notice me. After some sneak peeks, I found the cache, signed and quickly returned to it's spot. TFTC.
Came back around after a long geocaching hiatus. This was originally my younger brothers cache! Crazy how nature do that
Out with LuckyL10n for a bit of 'exercise' and this was my next stop.
I DNF'd this one on 16 Jan 2019, but hadn't been back in the street to try again, until today. LL had found it previously so there was a little bit of insider knowledge, but hey, you get that sometimes....and I still had to find it. I'd say the plants have grown since my visit, but good things come to those who wait, and the cache was eventually spotted. Log was signed cache replaced and was good.
Thanks for the cache dty73...and just for the record, my cache creep was at about 4 metres, so not so bad on my GPSr.

Good history behind this one, so glad it’s continued!

Our first - nearly gave up but a nice family that had been there before us reassured us it was there. Thank you!
With original plans to head up Mount Majura, I heard those magic words from the Geo-Mum, "I feel like going to a café". This is great because it allows me to go way further afield as I can get Mum to drive out a bit further than normal!
So I wanted to go to Evatt because of a particular multi however the plans holted (get it?) and we were going to Holt instead which was a bit annoying because there was not a lot of caches where the café was.
However I was dropped off at Holt shops and did this loop on the bike and then slowly made my way back to the the café. I had a time limit which did limit a couple of things however I managed to still make it back without going too crazy. Then after than a stop at Belconnen to do some shopping and get a special cache because it had a rare attribute...
TOTAL FINDS FOR TODAY: 13
THIS CACHE: This one is a difficult one. This camouflage defiantly stumps a lot of people mostly newbies. My rock hide gets quite it's share of DNFs, usually in a string. This one is hard because there is so many options to put the cache and it defiantly can get moved around a lot. I was here for awhile beating around the bush until I spotted it from the ground. TFTC Dty73!!

ME (aka Sam) was very very keen to show me some cool caches that he had been finding on his adventures. So ME, ME senior and I came to check out this hide. We had a lovely afternoon finding caches old and new, signed as ME and Nibletricecakes. Thanks for the cache!
OMG! Not only is this cache my 1999th, but it’s a *ftf* after maintenance! Wooooot!
I can’t believe it’s taken me 6210 days to finally achieve a found it count that is double my wildest ever expectation! Often my parents question me. I don’t know what to say to them since they refused to believe the truth. I explained again and again, and they dismiss my explanations as a figment of my imagination. There was no way that grandpa, who had been dead for five years, could have told me where the treasure had been hidden. Of course, it didn't help that grandpa was roaring with laughter in the chair next to me as i tried to explain once again how I found it.
Eventually sighing and downcast I mumbled something about GPSs and computers. This seemed to satisfy their overwhelming need to understand ‘how?’. Now began the game of how to divide the loot. How would I explain to them that a man from the government and a policeman had suddenly appeared upon my doorstep last week, and the treasure was now down in the local lockup?
What an adventure. Found it, and had a great time.
Thanks

Has to wait for some walkers and dog walkers to go past. After a bit of a look found it ok. Log sheet is full.
Not a bad start after being absent from GeoCache for a while, thanks for the warmup
Out for Wednesday night caching with nibletricecakes, GLISS! and onieferret.
I do love to take photos so a game was started to hide in my photos... so I’m starting a game of my own:
Where’s sue?

Got this one ages ago, must of forgot to logged it. If needed I can go back and send a photo of the log to the owner
A quick find which nearly cost an eyeball as one of the members leant over and walked their eye against the pole. All ok. TFTC
The rain destroyed all my plans that I had worked out - house work/shopping etc in the mornings and caching in the afternoons . When I went out early in the afternoon the heavens opened as I approached my first GZ so I ended up returning home, drying out and waiting until about 1700 to try again.
I tried a completely set of caches as I was more interested in numbers now than the D/T ratings. Nearly at the end of today's run now as this is #9. I jumped the gutter again as I didn't like parking on the road. A quick search, find, sign and replace at GZ. TFTC dty73

Grabbed this one today after Turtle mentioned it to me. A nice little hide and definitely a lovely story about the beginning of your geocaching adventure. As Turtle said, he has recently placed a cache where he found one of his first finds as a sort of tribute cache, so this is nice to see. TFTC
Made this find my daily this evening. GPS had me wandering a little so checked the hint and checked a couple of possibilities. Cache in hand soon after.
I appreciate your story as I now have a cache in a spot where I found one of earliest finds.
Thanks dty73.

Thanks dty73.
Spent the morning finding caches around the northern side of town. This one found without issue right on GZ, thanks dty73!
