Find #: 3,782Companions: NoneMuggles: NoneWeather: Cool spring morningCache condition: GoodAfter parkrun I headed over to this section of the parklands for a second jog. Once I got to GZ I started my search on the wrong side, so it took a systematic search until I was able to get CIH. I needed to Shelob to get to the log - TNLNSL, TFTC
the horses on the way to this one were so gorgeousthe creepy teddy bears not so much
Nice hide. Took a little longer to find then it should have cords were out a bit but that could have been because of previous logger finding in on the ground and not putting back in correct location. TFTC
Took longer than expected because I was looking for a different container. Great hide!TFTC
We had to drop my son at a BBQ nearby so we took the opportunity to walk in the lovely weather. Good one, thanks dkmacca.
Tftc took a bit to find as it had blown off!!! Replaced where I thought it should be!!
The morning was a bit overcast and cool to start with, but that was good for going out caching with ilook4geo. This was not so hard to find with an appropriate container having been used. There were not too many muggles around and no one saw us retrieve the container, sign the log and replace it. Time to move on ..... Thanks for this hide go to dkmacca.
Nice cool start but the day got hotter as we cached the area with goingplaces2. Nice find here. All good with container and contents. TFTC.
The Culvert #2 - Take 2. Found instantly this time. Thanks CO for replacing this so I could reverse a DNF and get a smile on. OCW Brewmaker . TFTC dkmacca
This was missing last time we were here. Thanks to CO for replacing. Quick find as we "bearly" made our way to GZ. TFTC
Quickest find i think we've ever had! Again happy to find after prev DNF
Thanks
Have really enjoyed discovering this area,
Thought it may be are last visit, but still a couple to find another day!

Quick find, again knew where e to look as we explored this area before. Shame we can’t say the same thing about the last post! TFTC DK.
Cloudy with some shower ... it's a perfect weather for geocaching around Nurragingy Reserve.
After a DNF few months ago we came back and fount it quickly.

Some good and succesfull caching in the Parklands and Quakers Hill area. Had solved a lot of puzzles in preparation and also prepared myself for a lot of bike riding. Just had not counted on the weather not playing. Although mostly cloudy and only a few drops here and there, it was the heavens opening up about half way through the day, only 400 meters from the car but enough to get soaking wet!!

It appears that someone liked this cache and has taken it . Hopefully up and running soon.

For a T1 it is not where we expected. Checked all possibilities from one end to the other. I think it's missing again. Please check.
T1. This should be easy for us seniors. No, we searched high and low. Disturbed a few huntsman spiders. However, the cache was too well hidden for us. TFTH
I need to assess any damage to this cache due to the recent flooding.

As I approached thought this could take a little while to locate. Thought where would be a fun place to hide the cache. Chose a spot to look and first place I looked and a nice quick find was made
With cache in hand we signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for bringing me to the area and thanks for placing the cache dkmacca

I have a multi with a final just like this one. Not that made it any quicker to find. Doing The Culverts in reverse order today. Thanks again DKM.
Wow that was incredibly sneaky. Nearly put the cache back down without noticing. TFTC

A walk around Western Sydney Parklands with my dog. Of course not just to walk, but also to find as many caches as possible.
The Culvert #2 was not at all where I expected the cache to be. But it is a very clever hide!

Spent quite a lot of time on this on with Renski. I called Waywardwoman for some help and her notes told us where it would be, but it was not there. Might need a check.
MsS had the geosenses finetuned to point Shoes Jnr to the right spot super duper quickly, where he grabbed the cache and stamped the log for us. Little Shoes left a thong keyring, took frog.
OCW Sensible Shoes and Shoes Junior. Quick find after Mum pointed Shoes Junior in the right direction and then he grabbed the cache. TFTC
A fine winters morning for a continuing walk in the Western Sydney Parklands. No muggles around as a quick find was made. Replaced as found after signing the log. tftc

Time is ticking by and I still need 40+ finds before earning the last of the Hidden Creature souvenirs. Was originally planning to do the Richmond Rd trail but spotted this one and figured it would be a great day for a bike ride.
After dispatching Mitchell Johnson for a six, I made some more quick runs here.

From the latest puzzle box, we made our way down to The Culvert #2.
This one was found by GeoDad when Geodad wasn't even looking.
The GeoKids were searching and GeoDad says 'oh I wonder whether it's where those suspicious looking things are?'
Lo and behold, there it was, lol.
Thanks dkmacca.

Just needing a quick cache tonight to keep Trodectuses streak going. This was one of our rainy day caches, but now is done. Log signed and returned. TFTC
Found with Coybear2000. First one back in Australia after our flight from Munich. At least one of us is obsessed! TFTC.
Quick find whilst in the area avenging a DNF
Thanks Dkmacca for the placement the cache is still in good condition cheers

This was our last cache before having lunch. Ot was found in the first spot we look in.
Thankfully we found it in a fairly obvious place before having to turn the entire area upside down... Great hide, TFTC
First of four found it hides inside the park, this one was my quickest find, and grateful to up my daily step count.
With spot on coords, just knew where it was hidden, cheers DK

We’re grabbing some caches before the heat of the day. This is a nice area for a walk. TFTC
Following help and encouragement from the CO I'm back at the Western Sydney Parklands to try and reverse some of the dnf's I had when last here a couple of weeks ago. After reversing the three that I had some help with and revisiting three other DNF's which I again I was unable to find, The Culvert #2 was the next on the list. After parking in Owen Street I walked along Power Street to the entrance of the parklands on the corner of Power and Knox Streets. After The Culvert it was only a short walk to this cache. Thinking the cache would be in a similar location as the previous cache I quickly checked these locations before concentrating elsewhere where the cache was found once on the right side of the culvert. hint. TFTC dk macca.
#4476- When I see some easy rated caches by dkmacca get published, they are definitely on my 'to do' list. But it's taken me a while to get here for these three newer ones. This morning I rustled bikerbuddy and we headed here. A nice easy find by bikerbuddy this time. Thanks
Despite a sore back - do I hear tiny violins playing for me? - I valiantly reached for this cache all by myself. Thanks
I've taken a walk through the western Sydney parklands park today and have found many tricky but nice hiding spots
I've looked for some for quite a while. One of them I couldn't find tho
Thank you for the very nice caches

How do I get here? My app doesn't show any track but luckily there is a new paved track all the way to GZ. Quick find once at the culvert. Thanks for the cache.
Headed west today for my second visit to the Western Sydney Parklands.
After a quick find at the other culvert I knew this one would be different......something looked suspicious and CIH

Busy, busy, busy.
Finally got away to go some caching - after 4pm. Hoping for at least three finds to up my calendar day finds - and despite a few bridge hides (and a DNF) managed four. Got back to *The Hademobile* after sunset, though.
But another pleasant walk through the Western Sydney Parklands. That's always a relaxing and pleasant experience.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Is this really a **dkmacca** hide?
Definitely not what I expected. In fact, when I spotted something that would normally alert me to a possible GZ I almost disregarded it...
But GZ it was.
Signed and replaced. Now off to the new *Puzzle Box* - always fun.

My apologies for the generic log, I'm catching up on 3 weeks of caching logs. Unless stated all caches were in good condition and no PAFs were required.
