Sorry delay the log
Enjoyed the multi.
Find it and sign the log as EV, and thanks for the cache and hunt.

Last cache for today was this multi cache. Collected the required information from the plaque at WP1, and after having performed the calculations, we headed to GZ.
GPS was a bit unstable under the trees, but once we got our bearings right, we eventually found the cleverly camouflaged cache.

Really cool cache, and close(ish) to home.
Interesting plaque at WP1 (a spot I didn't know exist), and GZ was another really lovely spot I didn't know existed!
Nicely hidden, nicely made.

Gets an FP from me for sure - TFTC!

THIS CACHE!!!! ARGH!!! This one has haunted me for AGES. I knew I had GZ, and there have been a few fruitless visits which had me doubting. A recent finder confirmed I was in the right vicinity and I set off today with renewed confidence. This close to giving up yet again and I finally spot something that looks a little different. OMG OMG OMG YES FINALLY!!!!
Thank you purplepeopleeater for the challenge and thrilled to have finally signed that log with pride!

I managed to make a slight miscalculation on the first attempt and started wandering towards my bogus GZ until I checked the map and saw it was in the middle of someone's backyard. Back to the waypoint to recalculate the correct coords, I then set of towards the right GZ (which was thankfully deserted) for a quick find; the rocks were a little slippery and I was concerned about falling in, however I managed to sign the log and replace without incident. TFTC PPE!

Nice to grab this one. I had actually discovered the location of GZ while we were in lockdown last year. I didn't sign the log then as I had all my caches disabled because of Covid restrictions and I thought it hypocritical that I find caches sat that time. It's such a lovely spot to come to, so quiet and not a muggle in sight. I was actually on my way to Castle Hill on my bike to do a spot of shopping and thought I'd cut through here on my way.
Adding a favourite point for the first waypoint, the GZ location and the cache construction. Nice work PPE.

Must have made a major calculation error, but found it any way. While walking to my gz I found a path going in the right direction, however it ended with still more then a hundred meters to go. I turned around checked the view from the long bench and thought can't hurt to quickly check here just in case and voila I was lucky!!

Companions: None
Muggles: None
Weather: Windy spring morning
Cache condition: Good

I decided to venture out now that we can, and explore this area. I parked near WP1 and gathered all the required details before starting a jog, with GZ my first destination. Nice spot, and quiet. Once there I searched as per (my interpretation of) the hint, which wasn't that successful, but once I tried the SE corner I made the find - TNLNSL, thanks for the cache.

BTW, I'm not quite sure what the previous "finders" found, as the photo doesn't match the cache or location, and the last logbook entry was 4Rods'

Another find for recreational paraphernalia, but no such luck for the cache Sad As a local and frequenter of this park, no idea GZ even existed so that in itself was a worthwhile discovery. Thanks!

We needed a find with the natural wonder associated with this cache so we could attempt to complete our Natural wonders of the world souvenier. Found the required information relatively quickly and then walked down the track. No Ducks and frogs were seen or heard - guess it was too cold for them. TFTC PPE. The 4Rods.

Being the tennis champion that I am my team went straight into the Grand Final and did not play today's semis. Instead we had a friendly hit up and talked tactics for next weeks big match finishing at lunch time.
I drove round here and had my lunch in the little lookout park with the great views of Castle Hill and enjoyed the croaking of frogs while I did my calculations. It looks so different here these days, as I remember this being all farming land and no houses!
Hmm couldn't get one of the check sums to work. Heck I have a uni Maths major - what's going wrong here?
So it was a couple of PAFs until I found someone who could remember this cache and I had soon had the correct answer.
I found the plaque difficult to read, just a bit vertically challenging for me so maybe I didn't read things correctly. The extra information around the wall was interesting although being local for a while I knew quite a bit about some of this history - you can never have too much local history in my opinion so a good refresher.

So I set off on my walk to GZ.
The park was deserted and I soon found myself at a spot where the hint made sense. Funny sort of area, wonder why it was set out the way it is? I saw and touched the cache but ignored it as I was looking for something else I had seen in the photos which in the end had nothing to do with this cache. Hmm
At that moment the CO rang me and set me straight, CIH, SL - all in good condition.

Nice to have something in this great park for this mini milestone. Yeah, its worth a favourite.

Out caching with oldmorty in and around Castle Hill Heritage Park.
Another park unknown to us until today. So much history recounted in such a lovely setting. We were kept on our toes by doing a mix of caches as we walked around the park.
Grabbed all information needed and retired to a seat in the shade to work out the coords.
With the checksum agreeing, oldmorty and I made our way to GZ and the cache.

A day out caching with frazeydaze around Castle Hill Heritage Park. I was unaware of this park and all its history and thoroughly enjoyed reading the information signs telling of the areas past. During our time here we tackled all the available caches; an Adventure Lab, a couple of trads, multis and mysteries.

After finishing in the park we drove around to this multi for a bit of maths. Magnificent views from here and a seat to do the sums. After finally getting agreement with the checksum we headed down the road and back into the Heritage Park to an area we previously visited earlier. With the generous hint it was a quick find to end the days caching.

TFTC Purplepeopleater and a very enjoyable day in Castle Hill Heritage Park.

After finding the nearby park cache, it seemed silly not to have a look at this. A beautiful sky graced the lookout as I did the calculations in pen on my hand. The off to GZ, passing a group of people with a fire burning. The container/hide is really solid; it's always great finding a well made container. Stopped for a bit, but didn't see any ducks or frogs, but we suspect I could hear some TFTC.

In Dural area for some Sunday geocaching. What a great lookout and nearby park. And some massive houses. We collected what was required, did our calculations and walked down to GZ. We came across a scarily not-socially-distanced birthday party for a five-year old as we passed the kiosk. The next cluster waiting to break out?? Made our way to GZ which was a very peaceful place. Sturdily constructed container which isn’t going anywhere soon! SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek

Up here yesterday and gathered the info in the rain. Today caught up with teamMerlin to grab a few caches in the area. After finishing up here last night started here this morning took a little while to find the hide. With the rain coming and going some of the rocks were slippery

With cache in hand we signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for bringing me to the area and thanks for placing the cache Purplepeopleater

Another PPE cache that I've forgotten to log. I was in the area collecting a new toy and needed to get a smiley on a multi and this was it. Arrived at GZ and quickly got the required info but something didn't add up. Rechecked the sums and saw where I went wrong. Found my way to GZ and found the CO there as well. Took in the hint and soon did the legals and replaced as found. TFTCM

First of two PPE caches found in Heritage today. I really liked the mini puzzle to solve the coordinates, self explanatory but simplistic too. The park had many different flowers. Grabbed the coordinates and rode down the hill on our bikes. Stopped off at a place in the park I had never seen before. It is a little overgrown but still a nice place. Checked the hint and from there it was a fairly easy find. I like the container. It really blends in to the surroundings! TFTC PPE

Might change my name to procrastination. For months I've been meaning to get this one so close to home. After doing calcs, I got the CO to confirm my coords which he did. Then took another few months to get off my backside and come back. Took ages to find, around 15min. Thought my caching abilities were shot! Finally, took a leap of faith and made the find. Great cache and construction PPE. SL and replaced. TFTC.

We were in the area so detoured here again and checked out GZ. This time I looked in one place to soon find the blackberries again but bleeding was minimal so I continued. MrsFish kept telling me to look in one particular place, and as usual she was right as I retrieved the neatly hidden container. Nice camo! Thanks Purplepeopleater for another fun multi, great GZ and a nice hide. Not too many ducks and frogs here today though, it's still really dry.

18-Aug-18
We were in this park to attend an International Geocaching Day event. The walk from the event location to pick up the numbers needed to find this cache container was not as long as expected and with co-ords in hand, the walk was then extended to get to the right area, along with Dave8153 and Snoopy1976. All names were noted in the log before it was replaced as found. Many thanks go to Purplepeopleater for creating this cache which brought us to a different section of the park to achieve another smiley. We enjoyed finding this one with its really good camo. too.

After a false start with a shameful mathematical error, we were soon on our way. A really lovely secluded part of the Park we had not not visited before. I believe we had visited WP1 for another multi cache many years ago? In any case, to the tune of birdsong the cache was in hand after a bit of searching. TFTC purplepeopleeater

I came, I saw, but I was misguided and the numbers didn't play to get the right checksum. Had a little wonder, but know I was off. Back home to regroup and maybe, just maybe ask the CO to see where I went wrong!

25-May-18
After calculating a likely GZ we took the short but pleasant walk there. There were a number of possibilities but I soon ran into blackberry problems at my number one choice. As I am no longer able to check as low as I want to, some places I needed to inspect more thoroughly were not checked that well, so I will have to look again next time we are down this way. Thanks anyway, I really liked the area around GZ.

Brilliant! Loved this cache and the final GZ.

Thanks for the cache Purplepeopleater, took nothing left nothing travelers visited and I signed the log.

Dropped in for an early bird search after finding out that Midnight is where the day begins, further west. I almost had enough numbers from a cache in a parallel universe, but needed to check one detail. Fortunately I had waterproof shoes tonight because I hadn't noticed the liquidity of the ground at one point as I stepped onto (into) along the way. A novel bit of handiwork reminiscent of a close encounter, at another time and place. The area was dead quiet tonight; all the folk must've gone to bed. Hmm, good idea. Thanks Purplepeopleater.

We came from the puzzle cache further south in the Heritage Park up to this one on foot to collect the information so that we could calculate GZ. I knew that we would be heading on back into the park, so it didn't make sense to drive to the first waypoint.

I quickly found the required information, but one of the numbers had me a little bit worried. Nevertheless, I took what I had and sat on the bench to complete the calculations. How wonderful that the smartphones have everything on them these days: GPSr, c:geo app, calculator, maps, etc.

All the numbers popped out neatly first time around, and the checksums also panned out. Good, in that case we were ready to head on over to GZ.

I was wondering how we would have to get into the area when I spotted the "secret path" heading exactly where we needed to go. No ducks or frogs today, but lots of water plants covering the surface (hyacinth?). Lovely spot to spend a bit of time -- almost like a bird hide to watch water birds.

The clue proved useful and soon I felt the right thing where I was checking by hand. I added my name to the log sheet and then let my little son return the container to its hiding spot. I made sure it was exactly as found. Then it was time to head on over to the cargo nets near the parking lot so that he could play a bit and practise climbing over the challenges.

Nice multi, made the calculations in the dark with Ris768 at the posted coordinates. the torch from the car went flat before we had half of the coordinates solved so switched to Phone torches. couldn't see or hear any ducks or frogs once we arrived at the GZ. Ris768 made the find after we had searched a few other locations. Thanks for placing this cache Purplepeopleater

A cache in three stages.

Stage 1 - Finding the clues
Returning from work, I stopped near the published coordinates. It was quite obvious what was needed and I took some photos so I could figure out the coordinate at home. But there I discovered one clue was missing, Old Windsor Road, so I had to return on another day.

Stage 2 - The missing link
On my daily commute from work, I pulled over on Gilbert Road and returned to the starting point. I then searched for Old Windsor Road which took me more time than expected. With the final number I returned home to calculate the final coordinates.

Stage 3 - The final
GZ is definitely a duck and frog haven, although I did not see any. I also did not spot any muggles at all in the park, so I could search without any inhibitions. After figuring out the NE corner based on the location of the sun, it took me a few looks before I noticed the well crafted camo.

Thanks for the cache

This was really quite an enjoyable multi. We grabbed the information at WP1 on the way to Glenhaven where we picked up three newish caches before having coffee, hot chocolate and a vegan biscuit at a café in the little shopping centre next to the oval. Here we calculated the coordinates for GZ.

On our way to Castle Hill we stopped to take the pleasant stroll to pick up the cache and were not disappointed by either the location or the container.

Thanks Purplepeopleater, a favourite point from me.

I do like multis, so it was great when we stumbled upon this one. There seemed to be a few new hides in the area so we set aside the morning to attempt them and this provided the opportunity to grab this one. We enjoyed the view from WP1 and the solitude of the final location. Thank you Purplepeopleater.

An after lunch at Glastonbury adventure.

Wow what a hidden gem the Waypoint is!!! A favourite just for that!

Quickly worked out GZ after getting the little twist that made me look twice.

Then it was a shirt drive and walk to GZ for the find.

Today’s lesson was that caching with Google Maps is impossible!?!

It hardly seems fair. I was just in the area collecting some scavenges for the GCA States of the Nation game when I saw the notification for this one. With coords quickly in hand, I made my way towards GZ. A very nice spot for some relaxation, but no time for that today as I had a cache to find. SL to the sound of cicadas instead of frogs but did see some ducks.
