The CO said come for a visit, so I did! On a peregrination from Queensland down to Kempsey for a Scrabble tournament next weekend and detoured over to this event. I received a warm welcome from the CO and other friendly faces and we had a lovely afternoon of catching up and yummy nibbles as well as a wander over the road to find the new cache over there. Thank you to the CO for putting this event on. It's a bit of a thrill for me to be a fair way from home and still be able to meet up with familiar faces and get to know you all a bit more. 
We were the second last to arrive but then we were the last to leave so it all sounds fair to me. What a lovely event this was. Masses of shade for everyone and some extremely good nibblies. But, best of all there was plenty of great company in the manner of like-minded and friendly geocachers. Many thanks for making us all so welcome DiamonJs and thanks to everyone for the light and friendly conversation. Cheers, Happy Australia Day, and happy caching.

All plans working out we are planning on being there. We just have to find a long park nearby and we'll be grinning.
I will be going to the Border Ranges event on the Friday and then travelling South so will try my bestest to see if I can coordinate myself to be there at the appointed time. cheers
