Had a bit of a search in and around 3 nearby trees but unable to locate this one. We'll try another day.

Had a good look around and sadly didn’t find anything

Caching with oldmorty after a lovely lunch with friends at Church Point.
Know the soccer field very well as I used to watch my older brother play there a long, long time ago.
Nice hide but I don't know how long this new log will last as it's already very wet.

Found it, but the log is completely wet and ruined

Really disappointed

I’m aware the log is wet, but I’m on vacation in Europe until end of Feb, so it will have to remain that way until I am back. Not sure why people are disappointed to find the cache just because the log is wet, you can still log it over the app and it’s still a creative and fun hide. Not much appreciation for the hard working cache owners that do not get paid to hide these fun items all over the country. A little annoyed about the latest persons comments, but anyway. Patience please, I will be back soon and usually have beautiful and creative themed geocaches that are well maintained, but I also have the right for a vacation sometimes. Thanks!

A few days off caching and a few days with only one find. Getting itchy caching fingers...
Headed for an area I haven't been to for a little while, meaning some new caches have popped up.
Started with three new ones close together - ie walking distance - and then went for two previous DNFs. Am I a sucker for punishment?
Then finished off with another new one.

Got all six! Can't say fairer than that!

The impending rain had chased any muggles away, and another nice quick find. OK, must admit I hadn't checked here last time.

Completed signing duties and replaced.

The log was very wet. I was almost unable to write on it. This needs a little TLC.

Found with Brewmaker, EverestHigh & MaxAdventurer.

Today, I teamed up with Brewmaker, EverestHigh & MaxAdventurer to hunt for more Hidden Creatures, as we fast approach the final week of the geocaching June / July 2018 promotion. We set our sights on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, as this was an area with plenty of caches none of us were yet to find.

The day started off as a cold winter’s morning but it soon warmed up as we quickly got on a roll with the finds, with only a couple of Did Not Finds on some caches we think have in fact gone missing altogether.

A fun day out and pleased with the result, edging ever closer towards the Dragon and the ultimate World Turtle digital souvenir. A good excuse to venture out in the depths of the inviting urban forest, that is Sydney this time of year.

PS You might consider putting the bug on a diet with a smaller log sheet in a smaller bag.

Loving the bugs

After receiving reassurance from RS that the cache was actually there went back this morning. And sure enough it is there! Can't believe we missed it the first time around. Thanks for the cache!

Not in the first spot I checked, but got it in the end.

Milestone time again, and I had a cache picked out for that. But I also knew there was work to do on it still.
So I decided to go for it first - until I was confident I had GZ - then make two more finds. If not, then I needed an alternate target. Luckily that wasn't necessary.

That proved a better tactic than I expected, as having got to GZ it was well and truly muggled out. So went for lunch, grabbed two caches, then came back for it. And still had a short wait...
Then cleaned up two more nearby before heading home.

Objective achieved!

So having dissected one bug I thought the other would be a doddle.
Well, apart from GZ being muggle city when I arrived - they were coming from all directions - the obvious spots to hold something similar to my last find were all empty.

I'd say this has gone AWOL.
OK, still want one more find...

Having found the first version of this cache I was pretty confident that we knew what we were doing with this one. Alas we could not find it. Disappointing. We will be back!
