Woohoo finally found one today 1for4. Log full so added new strip.of paper to keep it going. Great hide TFTC
Thanks for placing this here so I got a chance to discover this sculpture. I do love a cassowary as they are such beautiful birds, but the mermaid was just a little odd! And when would a mermaid and a cassowary ever cross paths I wonder?
Nice camo hide as well. Thanks Kronski75
Nice camo hide as well. Thanks Kronski75
This taught us a great lesson about how things are not what they seem. May the 4th be with you!
We were in Fingal today, and grabbed this cache on our way back home to Lismore. Looks like there is some work being done near GZ, but the cache is still hiding, ready to be found. Didn't take too long for us to find it. Log was signed then we were back on our way home. A nice area, would love to live up that way, and looked at houses there quite a few years ago. Thanks for bringing us in off the main road, Kronski75!
Thanks to the help of a fellow geocacher it was an easy find and my younger cousins were delighted
Out today with RoddyC, hattzofff and Snickersallan for a fun filled day caching south of the border.
Very interesting sculpture at GZ and after a bit of scratching, located the cache. SL then returned as found. Liked the story too.

Definitely not beach weather again today, so off on a caching trip down south and out to Murwullimbah.
Day Two of our caching from our base at the Murwillumbah showgrounds. Today we were impressed with the coastal scenery as well as the hinterland scenery which presented itself at every turn. We enjoyed finding this cache and a fav point alloc. After being introduced to the chocolate coated frozen banana yesterday we were on the lookout today and managed to get one at the place just up from the Fruit Platter cache. Nice. Thankyou Kronski75 for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area
First find in a few years - actually located by my partner who has never been geocaching before so was excited for his first find
TFTC. I scoped out the caches when we booked a family holiday here. I wasn't even thinking about finding the cache when I spied the namesake on the way to the beach this morning. I just had a look on the way back, not thinking I'd be able to find the cache without my GPS but spied the cache quickly. Alas I had no pen!
I returned after the afternoon storm and found the area nice and muggle free in the twilight. Log signed quickly and back to family drama for me!

Aha an easy find ! Had to disturb the friendly slug that had somehow managed to climb into the cache. Fascinating statue , I have never come across it before. TFTC Kronski75
Out for a day of caching with stortigirls. We made our way to this one. Love the sculpture! The cache was quickly located and the log signed. TFTC
Caching with Selva Girls today on a rainy Northern NSW caching adventure day we navigated to this cache to collect a smilie as we worked through our hit list. I thought the name was strange, but at gz all was revealed. What an unexpected and amazing thing to find. We took some photos and then signed the log, returning all as found. Tftc Kronski75, take a FP for bringing us here to see her, and tftc!
This is our local area and it’s school holidays so maybe it has been picked up!? Or maybe I’m not so good at searching?! Thanks for the sculpture name and artist.
Quick find. Great place and fun find for the kids. Don't let the Cassowary get you!!! TFTC
Didn't have a pen or pencil with me to sign the paper log. Was out for a stroll whilst visiting this area for a couple of days. Love the sculptures in the area. Thanks for bringing me along this way. TFTC.
Walked past here many times and enjoyed all the sculptures along the way. The cassowary and mermaid my favorite. Thanks for the cache.
Watawieh from Norfolk Island South Pacific.
I have always wanted to see how many caches I could find in a day. Today I see off on a caching run through Northern Rivers. This was find #7 for the day. My final tally for the day was 31.
What an interesting sculpture (& cache description). I love the idea of placing public art along this walkway. TFTC

Back for the conference I attend annually and enjoyed the opportunity to make a new find. TFTC.
A quick find at GZ, after I managed to navigate through the housing estate. Of course, left my pencil behind again, but managed to make my mark in the log with a sharp implement. Took some pictures of the sculpture to show the rest of the team. Thanks for the cache Kronski75
Nearly gave up on this one I was looking for something micro. Was so thrilled when we got it. Thanks heaps
It was dark by the time I parked nearby to here, but I decided that I would chance it using the torch light function in my mobile.
I got to within 10 metres using the compass and following the paths but couldn't get a closer lock. It was only when I decided to bravely leave the path more travelled that my puny torchlight was able to make out the object of interest here. Ahhh! Now the cache title and description make sense, and wouldn't you know it, my compass headed down towards zero accordingly.
It only took another minute and I had the stash in my mitts, signing away awkwardly with the phone hanging from my mouth to allow enough light to sign the log. No stress, this ain't my first rodeo. Back everything went, and off I stumbled into the night.
Cheers Kronski for pointing out this cool artwork and giving the story behind it. Good fun! Thanks.

What a beautiful mermaid! Absolutely in awe of her, thank you for showing me to the amazing place.
Today was one of those perfect winters days we get around here when, which while coolish, is just terrific for getting out and about and enjoying the sunshine. We'd targeted a few more caches along the coastal road but this one was the only one we found today. We've walked the trail from Casuarina before enjoying the sculptures but had over looked this one. Of course this was before this cache was published.
Like others before we were not prepared to sacrifice our lunch apples, but hoped that the sight of these idiots (us) taking photos of toys (a bear and dog) on the sculpture would have providing as good a distraction for cassowary as it does any muggles who happen to wander past. It really is a great cover story.
Thanks for the cache.

Hello, I am Samboo Bear and am not a toy as described by Petan in their log. I figure that if I provided the 'distraction' then I ought to be able to claim a find too. Yes I do sign the log.
Thank you for the cache Kronski75.
Thank you for the cache Kronski75.
This one was hard yet fun to find nice job whoever placed it had me doubting myself for a bit
Nice cache to start the day on a trip from the goldie to Byron. Bizarre sculpture but nice cache. TFTC Kronski75
Walking along the path and decided to look for it. Unfortunately I didn’t bring a pen. Nice easy find. TFTC.
Funny story. I won't be carrying three apples any time soon!! What along with the gps, a pen, glasses, car keys, water and everything else just in case...
Thanks again Kronski.
Thanks again Kronski.
