Today is my last chance to get out to do some caching before we head off on an extended trip O/S. I was also looking for some caches that would boost my Terrain rating, so hopefully this will help. And as mentioned previously big spiders around here! Cache found in good condition and left the same way. TFTC
Decided to spend the day caching and I had been eying off the Farm Run Series for sometime. A nice leisurely drive around the country side ensued. TFTC. TNLN. SL. TBs Prado Owl , Leap Frog Race - Motorbike and Scarface visited.Find # 1799.
We had a lovely drive around the country roads today finding the caches in this series, this is one we found and the information was collected for the bonus. Log signed and replaced as found. Thanks for the series MalDawg.
This was a nice, quick find. Cache contents are nice and dry. The find was registered by several bovine cache guardians (see photo).
Bicycle run to Pittsworth
Grab some caches along the way
Makes the ride take longer
But I'm in no hurry today!

Nice easy for us beginners! Kid upset he couldn’t take a treasure as we had nothing to leave - learning we need to carry treasures !!
We stayed a long weekend in Toowoomba for 2 events, for caching, for hiking down the hell hole track and for qualifying for the Garden City Challenge.
So this series was in our mind to do. It was a quiet drive through farmland and we found all 20 of them. Sorry for the generic log.
Thanks for placing these caches, Maldawg

I first saw one of the rock rakes on a farm we visited near Tuttye in the Mallee country. I would imagine they suffer a fair amount of wear and damage in rocky country (and of course one wouldn't see them if the ground is not rocky). Got the J clue and wrote in the log. TFTC, MalDawg.
Slowly working our way back to Cairns after attending Qogm 2022. Did your Farm Run No. 12 - Rock Pickers today. 24 October 2022 1:58 pm Tyfc MalDawg total caches now 5966 .
Staying a few days in Clifton today we headed out caching towards Greenmount and Nobby. The wind picked up and it was very very cold out in the wind. We were greatful for the few quick finds that we did have today.

Sunday afternoon drive on a Saturday morning! On our way to/from Southbrook to see the open gardens, and these caches were either on the way there or on the way home. This is our third attempt at the Farm Run series, hopefully will complete today.
Quick find on this quiet (???) country road. We pulled up near GZ, and witnessed a Dick Tracy moment! Where id all those cars come from?
Thanks MalDawg for the series.

Found signed and got the clue.
I could see it really easily sticking out of it's hidey spot when I got near GZ so I made sure I put it back in a bit further when I returned it.

Did not have an opportunity to replace the missing caches before Christmas Holidays.
Will be replacing the missing Farm Run Caches in January 2022 so that the series is complete and it is possible to find the final.

Headed out today to do the Farm Run and just as we got to the starting point the rain kicked in big time. But we pressed on and battled the rain, mud (oh so much), mossies and spiders to get as many as we could of the run.

Day 3 of the wild western trip, the caching adventures continued to Pittsworth then towards Toowoomba.
The log was signed with our weekend caching name of Team Grav.
Thanks MalDawg for putting the series together.

A quick find while out early converting some green boxes to smiley faces. Today I decided to find as many of the Farm Run series of geocaches. TFTC.
Staying at Pittsworth for a few days to do some geocaching. This morning we headed out on The Farm Run. Most of the caches were found quite easily although we did have a couple of DNFs. Hopefully we got enough info to solve the puzzle cache.

Out collecting caches with this being one of them. Great series. Our thanks to MalDawg for placing this cache series and enhancing our enjoyment of the area..
interesting information about the rock picking. For obscure reasons I parked then, charged across to the wrong side of the road only to actually look at the gps and realise my mistake. I blame it on my headache but its more likely to be inattention.

Brahms6 found this one. Wazza and Kara and Mrs Wazza and Kara some down from Cairns for a couple of days geocaching and we hit the roads. Saw lots of back roads. TFTC.
After morning tea at the Pittsworth bakery we headed off to continue the Farm Run Series this morning. TFTC
JezNDez and I had made a mad 3000km, 4 day dash from Brisbane and back, on the hunt for a first to find at the summit of Mt Jagungal in Kosciuszko National Park. After successfully completing the overnight hike, we returned to Cooma for a night before starting the long drive back to Brisbane. After overnighting in Dubbo it was time for the last leg of the trip home, with a few caching stops along the way.
After successfully negotiating the Queensland border crossing we had no problems finding the cache here and we were able to quickly escape the heat wave temperature after signing the logbook. TFTC

Out and about caching today, while staying up in Toowoomba. Enjoyed finding the Farm Run Series of caches out in the countryside. TFTC's MalDawg
Back to finish what I started a few weeks ago. I’ve just realised I’ve lost a day and have been putting the 13th on everything today. TFTC MalDawg
Found some really old sump oil which I have to my partner who was sitting in the car. We took the oil and we'll be using it as pest control and other uses around our farm.
This particular road seems quite busy, I counted at least 6 cars pass by as I was signing the log.
I dropped another trackable off at this one, a caravan/ honeymoon themed one.
Mind the farmers friends here/ aka cobblers pegs.

A day out with Fangsoki in Toowoomba to grab the Adventure Labs, a wingaap cache, some challenges and caches with a particular attribute that I needed more of for a challenge. So brown out here! A quick find at GZ with clue noted.
Thanks for the cache MalDawg.

1MinnieMoo and I were grabbing some caches in the area and decided to grab this one next.
If this is the one I am thinking of - I parked a little distance off due to being close to a rise. The cache was found and in good condition.

Close to gravel road and young muggles zooming past in their 4x4s spraying up rocks. Easy find. Left the TB that has been there for 5 mths. Too unwieldy for a lot of caches. TFTC
A bit cooler today and decided to do the Farm Run circuit. Logged 19 of the caches as one was missing, and skipped a clue (somewhere) so the puzzle is on hold. Didn't log these caches in a logical order but enjoyed the country drive
Attached a photo taken near one of caches of a handmade sign I really liked. Yes it is fine!!!
Wishing everyone love, light and laughter over the summer hols!

**# 25606** Found on our 2019 winter escape trip to Qld with Mrs Roosta.
A perfect Spring day for a Farm Run trail while at Toowoomba.
Hardly any muggles around and mostly good safe hides.

On our way to QOGM (Blackall) day 15 of our trip. 18 caches for the day and 482 for the trip.TFTC
Had the day off from work so the plan was to complete the farm run series! Took the Geopup out for a drive and knocked them off one by one. Enjoyed the drive around, thanks for all the caches MalDawg!
When I first started caching, I found most of the original Farm Run series. I still have three smileys from that time. As I really enjoyed the drive way back when, I decided that I would find the new caches too. Ooooh! There are clues for a final too! Bonus!! This cache was quickly located and the log signed. TFTC
In Toowoomba for the weekend and had the Farm Run series for our first day. It was a great afternoon and all caches were easy finds and information was collected. Thanks MalDawg for the time and effort of placing this series.
We’ve arrived in Toowoomba early for Brother Colin’s event that’s on this weekend. We took the opportunity on this absolutely beautiful day to come out this way to do this series and enjoy a drive in the country. We remembered to pick up the needed information along the way when signing the logs. All caches found as per described and in good condition except for one which had a cracked lid due to an over heavy rock on top hiding it from view. Thanks for our enjoyable time out here today MalDawg.
Cheers and happy caching!

Yaaay!! I'm off on my Brisbane trip. Sad to be leaving my lady and her kids. I shall have to cheer myself up with geocaching ...
I've done some pocket queries and some research on the results. I'm trying to meet lots of targets for Professor Rapidly Wild's UGC series at home, so I'm seeking :
Two caches placed in 2000 - none found so far
One cache placed in 2001 - none found so far
119 caches of size "Regular" - Fifteen found counting this one
20 caches of size "Large" - One found so far
One letterbox in Qld - none found so far
One letterbox in NSW - none found so far
Any puzzles and multicaches I can reasonably find.
I've located enough caches to find on this trip on this trip to complete all but the last target. So we'll see how I go. Here's the next one. Saw the clue, not that it will do me much good, I won't be back this way for years, probably. I'll record it, anyway, just in case. I think I'm going to like these caches. I suppose I might as well go back to number 10 and see if there is a clue there.
Day 1, Monday - 12 in total, including five "Regular" sized caches.
Day 2, Tuesday - 16 in total, including one "Large" and eight "Regular" sized caches
Day 3, Wednesday - 21 in total,
Find no 7 of 18 today.
Thanks, MalDawg

we had decided it was time to get back and prepare the horses for the comp but we couldn't go past finishing these today. TFTC enjoyed the series.
Nice drive in the country while we are attending a showjumping event at the showgrounds. TFTC
As we walked towards GZ we surprised a BIG cat. It quickly took off ‘like the wind’. Wow! It was big.
No trouble finding the cache. All good here.
Thanks MalDawg.

Luckily we were meeting up with family members today because we only managed a few caches again because of time restraints. Thank goodness we don’t mind road trips!!

Out and about the fill in a spot in the calendar. Grab this one on a rather large detour to work, I do love this country roads on days like today, they are something else. A quick find once at GZ and my name was in the log. TFTC MalDawg
Woke up this morning to Mrs VC asking if I was up for a trip west to 'potentially' visit friends & maybe grab a cache or 30.
WHY NOT! LOL …
Grabbed Winter the Geo-Cat & we all piled into the Geo-Beast.
The friends were out so a-caching we will go!
Mr VC was quick to spot this one while Mrs VC was taking photos of the cows nearby.
Great series so far, a nice mix of country, fresh air & BLOODY FLIES!
Made our mark & replaced as found.

So my amazing geowife Kaleidoscope had the day to ourselves and needed a bit of time out of the house... so what shall we do? I'm new to the area but Cass is a born and bred Clifton/Toowoomba local so knows her way around... let's go do some caching and exploring!
We loaded up Boris the Geo-Patrol and headed out the door... luckily this cache came up on the radar... ofcourse, cache was found, log signed and returned as found... brilliant series.. thanks for placing them PJATPAC and MalDawg... Hope you liked Cass' jokes!

Hi there MalDawg.
We found your cache **"Farm Run No. 12 - Rock Pickers"** today. (This makes our find count 19490).
Today we cached the "Farm Run" series. The secondary aim of the day was to cache along a road we haven't traveled since we became full time grey nomads. Once we've done that we can draw another line on our wall map).
We found 20 caches today (DNF'd 0) .We thoroughly enjoyed our cache raid. Thanks for placing the cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels. Thanks also for not placing an eclipse tin or a 200ml Sistema here. Nowadays it seems like every other cache is small and devoid anything to induce children to enjoy the hunt. It made us feel really good to find this "special" cache here.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

After setting up camp in the showgrounds for a few days, we had lunch a rest then out caching along the farming roads. We had a few farm run caches in 2014 so were not able to collect all the numbers to complete the final puzzle cache.
A good variety of caches & hides.
Thanks for placing this cache MalDawg
