First find of the day. Even on a quiet road, Muggles driving by ... I wonder if they wonder why cars stop in this random location, or if they've figured it out by now ... TNLNSL.TFTC ...
Found It!A quick stop here while caching in the area and after a short search I found the cache.TFTC
Headed out in the geo-car for a few caches today.
Decided to hit a few around Buderim since there was an event nearby that I was attending.
This is my 2277. Cache was found on 10 Sep 2023 at 1:40 pm.
Quick search and I soon found it.

DNF didn’t look for long i think it should be in the tree but it wasn’t quite disappointing=ing
Today we went for another visit to the Sunny Coast, rather more inland. So thank you to all COs who had put out caches for us to find.
We had couple of caches in our mind, and we started in Buderim, working our way now back home.

Quick and easy find on my geocaching Sunday. Hopefully the owners of the property know about this since it must be a bit scary for cars stopping here and going through the bush across the road from the only house on the street, lol.
faithy_izzie I found your cache Wilderness on 25/6/2022, 3:00 pm. This is my find 3599 and find # 6 today. A quick and easy find. Hardest part was finding parking. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
It was a great experience for the familly and dogs but the log book seemed to be very wet and broken up I fixed it up and placed some new prizes inside. Here is the photo
Nice quick find, contains damp pieces of paper....needs new log. Signed and replaced as found. TFTC
T-Tech are visiting his parents this afternoon, and along the way we grabbed a couple of caches.
There's not much parking for a big car here. After a bit of wandering around I made the find. TFTC, faithy_izzie.

Found with kids on 12/02/2022. Looks to have been water damaged. We have tried to leave upright to prevent further damage.
Surely there is some cool app on the interwebs that plots out the shortest path between caches. We have yet to find it and so we found ourselves almost doubling back to where we started the day.
I’m sure when I started in the field of GIS (decades ago), before Google Maps, there was the Dijkstra's algorithm that worked out the shortest route between nodes. Google Maps probably has the same feature but I always get a bit stressed when I miss a turn and the Google lady’s infliction gets a bit nasty so I turn her voice off. I have a wife for when I need to be told where to go, although most of her directions usually end up with me headed towards hell.
We had spent most of the morning finding some unloved caches in the area even though we had completed the unloved challenge many moons ago. This was our fourth of the day and there was no one to tell apart from Mrs Woodyrothwell telling me where to go. Looks like she’s steering me towards hell again. tftc

Reading one of Carrot’s reports is always time consuming. You have to read it more than once as his ballistic approach to punctuation can make sentences turn against you.
Out for some caching fun on the Sunshine Coast with Brislions. This cache was quickly located and the log signed. TFTC
I was up on the Sunshine Coast again grabbing a few caches with Selva Girls. I found 27 caches for the day Selva Girls found a few less. We had lots of fun today. Sorry for the generic post, yes more short log because I am so far behind in logging. TFTC. *3882* Finds
Very serene piece of bushland to cache in. As I was signing log, a muggle in a vehicle was coming and I dived into cover with my bike. TYFTC
We found this after a little bit of a search. The hint certainly helped us. Not much in the way of parking around GZ (without parking on someone's property) so parked down the end of the street and walked. When we got back to the car we bought a small jar of honey from the house opposite. SO good to have pure honey again! I thoroughly recommend it. We'll be back for sure!
There’s always time for one last cache.
A quick stop here today with 1minniemoo and nyssaflutterby before it was time to head back for school pick up.

Oh dear! Turns out in my mad rush on Wacky Wednesday, I missed logging our actual last cache! I guess due to the rush to get us all back where we needed to be, once I’d signed the log, I forgot to mark this one in my phone!
Luckily, wombles and co was onto it (so handy having a friend who is a good stalker!), and notified me!
Arriving here there wasn’t a lot of space to pull and park, so poor wombles and NyssaFlutterby had to pretty much leap down the ditch out of my car while I got the easy exit roadside. Over we headed to make a quick find and sign the logbook. The long grass was wet here so I managed to score a wet backside returning the cache to its hide, then back in the car for me, while the other two waited for me to turn the car around and allow them a much easier access back into the vehicle. Then we were off on our way to collect children from school.
Thanks for the cache faithy_izzie.

This was quite a quick find due to spot on coordinates. Lovely having a drive around this area. TFTC
First time I've been caching in a good while, so today's sunny skies saw me out and about on the tredley, with this wilderness hide my first find for the day.
Found just after midday. Thanks faithy_izzy for a nice easy one to start the day!

Yeah this one took longer than it should have seeing I was looking in a different direction whilst M sat in the car due to lack of parking at GZ. After he got tired of me floundering around he jumped out the car and left it running, walked straight to the hide and said "found it" with a smirk on his face!
This took me a little bit to find, I needed the hint for help. This is a nice quiet spot , thanks
Quick find in the no so dense wilderness . Signed logbook kingfisherau 11:45 am 18/8/18 and replaced all as found,

While camping in Landsborough for a few days with my geodog Scruffy, we just had to get out and try finding a few caches ...

Just leaving home to head for a caching day around Toorbul, we took a very slight detour to this one as I thought (correctly) that the roadworkers would not be there on a Sunday and we would have a better chance at searching peacefully.
Hard to park with the road edge having a bit of a drop off all the way along but since it was so quiet right now, thought we'd be OK still partly on the road. Luckily no-one came past while we were there, so we got away with it.
Distracted by a nice fungi colony on the big eucalypt, then started to look between things. Took a bit of weed wrangling before I found the right spot. By this time, JW was deep in the forest - I had to call him back quickly before he was out of earshot.
Left MIGUELIN travel bug, travelled with me from Gympie recently.

Saw some council workers in the area today but we played it cool and found the cache pretty quickly TFTC
Just as the mozzies were starting to circle ready for the ATTACK , the cache was spotted. Another couple of minutes of looking would have seen me out of there and a temporary DNF logged.
Hard parking faithy_izzie!

After Geopartner found somewhere to park, I wandered down to this one.
A car nearby decided to give me a visual of the power of his automobile up his driveway.
As if I'm interested. I'm here for caching. lol
I was soon at GZ and a quick look gave me what I was after.
Signed the log and returned to where I found it.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks faithy_izzie All good with this cache

Lots of road works going on at the junction but we were far enough away so as not to get noticed. Not such a bush bash as I first thought and soon found what I was looking for. TFTC faithy_izzie
An impromptu event at the cache had a few sets of eyes looking but I was just lucky enough to stumble on it for FTF. Thanks so much for the cache.

Konie, neverlostau, and of course the El Peregrino team .
Amazing how a FTF brings ppl together at odd places and odd times.
Fantastic to have Neverlostau pick the hide and get another great FTF
We were closest to him so happily signed in second fiddle , with the “master “ Konie signing 3rd to find.
Thanks a bunch for this lovely cache and a warm welcome to this crazy sport Faithy_izzie

I turned up at this new one and El Peregrinos were there and we were soon joined by Neverlostau.
While having a chat Neverloastau managed to make a quick find. Well done on the FTF, you made it look so easy.
