This cache has become a nemesis for us. Looked carefully all around, with the hint in mind, and even widened the height band, but no luck once again. It was missing last time, but too good for us today. Our thanks anyway to deshut.
Heading back to the next event in Geelong today from Queenscliff.
I stopped here for the search.
At first I was looking a little farther away.
But was soon looking at GZ.

What an absolutely fascinating tree. Definitely a geocachers' delight. TFTC deshut
We arrived at GZ and we were very pleased that we had read the cache notes prior as that helped us concentrate our search on one particular item. We looked and looked, we read cache logs, nothing was of any help here. So back to using our geosenses. Finally hubby said that he had it.
Now in our defence the cache is at the 1.5m height (approx) that the hint suggests, this is just a tricky hide and really needs all of your attention to detail to be used. SL TFTC

It’s been a while since I have put a smiley on the map, so thought I’d do this one on the way home from an outing
The birds were definitely good entertainment, there weren’t too many passers by as it was getting close to sunset, but with a hint from a previous cacher, I found the cache without too much trouble

This is micheena’s and my first cache find on our three day caching Odyssey on the Bellarine Peninsula. TFTC SL
Sunday at times is a challenge cars out people walking between buildings and muggles with dogs. Done hopefully without detecting with kerydn21
Another nice easy find after initially searching around one object at GZ gnome5580 moved onto another spot and soon had the cache in hand! TFTC!
Found it on the ground. Replaced at height with a small piece of camo. Thanks for hide
Firstly, apologies for the lateness in logging.
Despite my tardiness, you can be assured I enjoyed each and every cache found and not found.
Apologies if this is a generic log, my memory is good, but not that good.
Was out for the day with 6hinemoa2, Sorceysal and Tess the geodog.
Thanks again deshut

Out with sorceysal and bogonghazy today. Pulled up here and searched around fora bit. It was bogonghazy who spotted something and with difficulty managed to get the little devil in his hand. Signed in with our initials. 6H2, SS and BO.

Happy New Year! We were on our way to lovely Queenscliff to 'ring in the new year', and picked up a few of these quick caches along the way. I didn't know these were here and they were almost 'bonus' caches for the day as I attempt to get my 'finds per day' in 2018 above 4.0. Thanks for the cache deshut.

Checked this one, and the cache has disappeared. I've decided to have one more try at this spot. Now a bit harder by virtue of the tiny container. I'll adjust the difficulty level and put this cache on the premium list.
On our own today after a DNF here a few months back. This cache must be trying to avoid us, because we struck out again. Our thanks anyway to deshut.
Fortunately for us the area was not busy this pm so with a little bit of searching we found this well hidden cache. We were so pleased that it was not a school day.
Lovely old church and yes, the tree sure looks old too!

This one is a bit of a nightmare for a cache owner, but it's the nearest to my house, so I'll persist with it. The container seems to have vanished again, so I've replaced it with a bison, which means it's very close to being what it was originally. This is about #4, and please be circumspect, although it is difficult to do so.
Is a physical object supposed to be at/on/in the tree as my brother and I searched high and low and found nothing
Out and about with Bogonghazy to try and reach the 5000 milestone. Well on the way to the milestone and we seem to be finding a lot of your caches today. Thanks for the placing of these to make caching enjoyable. Thanks deshut

Replaced the lost cache with one of similar size, in slightly different position, well, vertically more than horizontally.
Alerted to possibly missing, so went and confirmed the absence of one of those fake rocks. Will replace soon.
Now in company with GeoJo, we stopped for a look. Gave up after around 10 minutes of searching all the nooks and crannies. Our eyes must be dim, we could not see... Our thanks anyway to deshut.
Tried and failed with maccamob. Had no luck searching based on the description and attributes. Fortunately not too far from home so can search again if someone else is successful!
[:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort.

Saturday Jinky, John and Aaliyah set off for some caches in the Leopold area. Aaliyah was in charge of the trinkets, and had exclusive use of the smaller Garmin. SL, TFTC!
A lovely blue-stone church and such a nice tree with a huge burl. Quickly spotted by our team today. TFTC
Being dark it was hard to see what goes on in the nearby building/hall. Will pay more attention next time I drive past!

As a safeguard against some kind of unforeseen issue (or maybe because of sheer inertia - Newton's First Law in action), I did extras. Consequently, neighbours may report strange shenanigans happening at night around the vicinity of the Church this week.
Thanks heaps, DesHut!

With a day free for both hubby and I we decided to get out to this side of town and find all the new caches published recently.
We had a couple of the Point Henry caches to finish off as well so we picked those up along our travels.
The sun was shining in our favour and made for a great day with no DNFs.
Thanks for placing these caches for us to find
Another find by the McPhail family.

We searched the tree of course. So many holes! Which hole. Oh. Hang on. Is this....
On our nighttime adventure around leopold, we found this little one.
Thanks. So many big bull ants though!

A dozen or so unfound caches so close to home, some errands to be attended to at the iconic hardware store on the highway and to cap it all off, perfect caching weather on the Bellarine.
What a fascinating old tree.
Thanks 'deshut' for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

We were passing by today so I called in and had another look...thank you for the heads up deshut!!! My caching brain really was not with me yesterday. Very clever hide. Many thanks for the cache deshut.
Was watching my daughter find this one, and she spotted the original container in the wrong position, placed there by a cacher who didn't understand the intent of the description. Cache is now back in original position, requiring no setting foot on church property.
What a nice little quick cache, the poor tree certainly does have some battle wounds. Tftc
Deshut tells me he thought someone had taken the original container so he had put out a replacement one. Lucky he bought me to this cache as I found the first container for him. Not where you would expect it to be but found it is. Love the old gnarly tree here.
Had disappeared, and, despite no dnf's , it is definitely not there. So I have put a replacement cache in. Please read the revised description to see other changes.
*Out and about around Geelong for the day*.
Out with wozzle68 and one half of the Tritonz on a day out.

Found Leopold 2 today while in the company of Snap Happy and wozzle68 chasing aliens around the Geelong area in pursuit of planetary points! We parked the car in front of GZ and made a quick retrieval while the coast was clear.
Thanks deshut for the hide.
Thanks deshut for the hide.
We did this series in reverse order, so this one was the penultimate one. We parked right outside GZ and looked first with the eyes rather that with the hands and quickly spotted the cache. Fortunately pretty quiet here today. TFTC
Found with snaphappy and one half of the tritonz on a planetary points mission. A nice quick find but I think the muggles wouldn't see it
Pretty quick find. Not too much traffic this windy Sunday afternoon. Though I had to hover a little while whilst a dog walker wandered past.

After doing the Friday night drop offs that Sims_family mum usually does I had 2 hours to kill before I had to do the whole thing in reverse to pick them all up again. With a nice little series here in Leopold it will keep me occupied for the time nicely.
My last in the series and the light has faded away making this a little harder to find than it should have. If only I had thrown my head torch in the car before I left home . That would have made life a lot easier than with just my phone for light.
Thank you deshut for the hide and the series

Spending a lot of time in Sydney the last few months and we were up there again when these guys were published.
OK back home and time to change these green guys into smiley faces the hunt was on.
Last find today and was soon spotted along with the old battered tree.
This is my 131th deshut find so thanks for the hide.

Suscoe headed out this afternoon on a short journey to the east.
The sky was clear, the sun was bright and the breeze was mild.
6 caches on our radar to find.
Thanks to deshut for this cache.
Spotted as we walked to GZ.
Thankfully we were here before school pick up time.
All dry with the log.

On my way to an appointment with just enough time to spare to divert here for a quick find. What a magnificent old tree, I loved it so thanks for putting the cache here to highlight It TFTC
Read one log then changed my search. Cache found very fast after that.
Thanks deshut

Found the others in the Leopold series so it was hard to leave this one alone.
Had a scratch around looking at the obvious then spotted the hide.
Log signed and replaced as found.

Joint FTF with Polnevdol after completing Leopold 03 nearby. Nice little spot, quickly narrowed down a specific search area based on the description and soon enough another joint FTF had been made. Log signed, cache returned to its rightful place. TFTC deshut and again for the joint FTF Polnevdol. From here I left Nev to head off to Leopold 01 on his own as this is my 99th find and I promised the geokids we would do something special for #100 together.
