Logs
Tftc, the trail was getting very overgrown and felt likely to be snakes about on the hot day, so stopped here and turned back.
After spending the long weekend staying at Callala Beach and caching around the area, we made this trail our last stop before heading home. We found it and logged it. A familiar type of cache by now. TFTC
Found the cache pretty quickly but once again the log was too wet to sign. Container was completely saturated. Will send photo evidence of cache find to CO.
Again had a look around where previous photos show but nothing. Must be buried deep in the undergrowth.
Started this trail a few years back but realized how long it would take so bailed out after a couple.Back today to do a few more. Not fond of micros in the bush but found the ones I did quick enough.TFTCIronbark.
Very wet log here unfortunately didn’t have a replacement with me. Cache was effectively buried below ground level so did a bit of maintenance in the meantime.
Great one bit tricky took a bit of searching but found it forgot pen so took photo of log for proof. TFTC
Came back for another look knowing this had been replaced, not sure if I found replacement though, as this had previous logs & was soaking, Oh well, whole series ticked off now.
If the coordinates are off, and there isn't a hint, and it's a tiny black cache in a burnt area, I had no hope. Maybe update the GZ or supply a hint. Previous photos are pre fire. So they weren't too helpful.
Not so sure it was the best time to head into the swamp and along the trail but it was the only time I had. Although it hadn’t rained much over the last few days, I sense it will be some time before the area is anywhere near dry again. Recent heavy rains had left much of it underwater, and while the elevated walkway was most appreciated at the beginning, the puddles only got worse i.e. deeper and wider the further I went. After a while it didn’t really matter anyway, my shoes weren’t going to get any more soaked or covered in mud.
So along I went, eventually picking up on what to look for. Geotrails helped some of the time, geosense other times as well. In the end it was 12 from 12, with some of the logs a little damp and only the one log too wet to write on. Mosquitos were at a minimum thank god, but I had came prepared just in case.
Finally made it to the final hide where eventually the sneaky cache was found. The muggle cleaning his caravan across the road either didn’t notice or didn’t care what I was doing as I was there for a good 15 minutes and I didn’t notice him even turn his head in my direction. Trudged back around the school to the geomobile and headed back ‘home’ for a well deserved shower. Favourite added for the adventure. TNLNSL TFTF

A quick find at GZ, but it was to be our last today, the track was submerged too deep for our footwear, and off track wasn't any better and more damaging! Thanks mistysoho for the cache
Hubby found again, daughter was not happy. Water in the container but log was dry. Thank you
After a visit to the beach everyone else was keen for a snooze - perfect opportunity for some caches and with the sun out a few butterflies. Headed to Callala and had some luck with both. This was my main aim and I managed to find all the caches and the clues but no multi final.
Still enjoying the walk through the bush - could be miles from anywhere here. Another quick find.

When it comes to planning a caching day, which includes a day off work I'm generally in the lap of the gods when comes to the weather and today was no except..... Forecast temps of 35deg and high humidity greeted me as I headed south for the day.
This series was one of my targeted locations today. I really enjoyed the walk but with the track overgrown and the temps climbing I was ever watchful slimey critters. It should be noted its not a good idea to this series at high tide unless you're prepared to get wet. Sections of the boardwalk were knee deep under water today.
Thanks to all the CO's for your caches today. I may not have found as many as I wanted due to the heat but I had agreat day scouring the south coast. Thanks.

The logbook and container has taken on alot of water making it impossible to write on the paper.
Many of the numbers for the nearby multi have gone and need replacing.

Looks like this track doesn't get many walkers, as overgrown in places. Still very much worth the effort. Some caches had logs so wet you couldn't sign them, but we did find them all. Struggled to find 2 of the numbers for the multi, so took a guess and failed to find it... TFTC.
TFTC Thank you for hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity. gz didn’t match GPS
Met up with Bonfire7 and spent the day smashing out caches in the Callala/Myola area.
Finished the day with 51 Finds & 3 Did Not Finds. A thoroughly enjoyable day, spent in good company. Thanks to all Cache Owners for their contributions to the game we play.

Another great day on our one-year tripp around Australia. We love to travel in this country and we love to look for geocaches. This geocache has again shown us a place that we might not have visited without geocache.
Thank you for the geocache !
Greetings from Switzerland.

I struggled on this one for a while, in the end some previous logs enlightened me though the cache was a bit further from the track than they made me expect. The cache lid was securely closed but there was a bit of water inside and the logsheet was damp, nevertheless I managed to sign. Inconveniently, at this point in the trail I got a call to head back to where the family was staying, for a walk of all things. What did they think I'd left for??
Time to rub in some more repellent before the Mozzies over-run us. Grey zeroed in for a quick find. TFTC Misty
#4652 9th for today
A last minute trip out to coast with CBRChic. I was sitting at home after breakfast thinking: where would I like to go caching today: answer: the coast. So I called CC to see if she was keen and she was so off we went. Time was very limited so we restricted our searches to just a couple of spots: Nerriga, Tianjara and Calalla Beach area. We aimed to be back in CBR by 7pm, but that was a forlorn hope and it was more like 8pm. Anyway, it was a fine day for caching and we almost completed the "Power to Calalla" trail, which was just lovely. All in all a great day.
Thanks to the COs: mistysoho

Said no to a possible kayaking/geocaching with friends this weekend due to asthma and needing to see how it was affecting me. Steroids were kicking in and beginning to feel good again. At the garden centre with hubby when I get a call from StangeTrousers – “want a quick trip down the coast to get a few caches.? “ A little sea air would be good. “Yes Please.” Warned ST that we would need to take it easy and I would try not to become violent with roide rage on the trip (Joke). Got home in time to put the batteries into the Garmin and be ready for the ST to arrive in the geo mobile and the adventure to begin. We left close to lunch time and the day was sunny with not too much wind – perfect for caching especially after the cold days in the last week.
We picked up a few caches on the way down to the Calalla “Power to Calalla” power trail. Loved the earth cache Tianjara Falls. When we reached Calalla Beach close to 3:00 with a quick grab of a late lunch before hitting the trail. Nothing like hearing the waves at the beach.
Here we go again another discovery and place that caching has led me to. The wetlands and walk are worth a visit. Beautiful butterflies, flowers, a crab and no snake. Time was limited so we only managed mainly those on the trail before it was time to head home. The evening was finished with a meal cooked by my geo hubby for ST and I and the perfect way to finish of a great day.
Thanks mistysoho for giving me a reason to visit this place.

Seeing the mangrove area was a surprise. Took some photos to show the grandkids. Kutgw
My cache finding mode all most never got off the ground as had trouble finding this one. Persisted & successful. Took a few photos as I walked around - might be able to claim a Waymark. Thanks for the series.
I couldn't find this one, but light was fading, and now having read the logs I'll check it out tomorrow.
On a nice morning walk Clematius and I tried to find all the caches in this series. We made it up to #11 but could not find the # 12 and #13. Anyway, I was a really nice walk. Thanks for hiding to mistysoho.
A morning walk together with ElizaBennet and another found in Australia. Thanks a lot for hiding to mistysoho.
Amazing Found by number 2 go Giorjet! Loving the trail. TFTC JenneG and Bubgy plus 4

OCW the Bebes in Callala today for some more numbers before heading back to Sydney.
Took a bit longer than it needed to really. Coords a bit out on our devices! Scratched around near obvious spots and eventually had it. Tftc

Really enjoyed the hole walk through this interesting part of bushland. Glad I was wearing shorts today as long pants would have gotten very wet. The path is already overgrowing quickly, but that makes it more interesting for me. caches were all found rather quick, even when they were a bit mixed here and there.

GeoSon NationalSteel and I headed down to Callala Beach to tackle MistySoho's Power to Callala Series and then find whatever else we could fit into the day.
We spent a long time here. In fact, I had hit DNF on my GPS and NationalSteel had also decided to give it away, but sometimes just one look is all it takes. MY GPS was showing 15m fro GZ to where nationalSteel found the cache.
The cache was in good condition. We took nothing, left nothing, signed the log and replaced the container as found
Thanks mistysoho for the cache.
