Got a bit lost but we saw the covid mask and the GPS IS WRONG , BTW look at a power pole
Had to wait for some kids over the road on scooters to go past, but otherwise a quick find here, TFTC
Enjoying a day of geocaching down in Ashburton. We both walked up and down, repeat, repeat. Turns out we had both checked this spot as per hint. Came back and searched again and Mrs C spotted the wheel, phew. Very happy to sign the log. Thanks for the cache salvation army.
Kinda gross wet log paper so couldn’t sign. Good wee room for swaps if someone didnt put a covid mask in it
We had time for one local cache find today between chores. Unfortunately it was raining by the time we got here and the phone GPSr wasn’t playing ball, but we found the right spot after a little walking up and down. The cache was a bit wet inside; we had difficulty signing the log. TFTC salvation army.
Nice find we had to return a second time to find it but eventually we did. We didn’t take anything, but dropped of something. TFTC
Not what I expected but fun! A lot of disruption on the road, parked quite close in the end TFTC
We got a bit caught up with the disruption caused by the new subdivision going in across the road. We could see the no stopping signs so ended up parking near the corner and walking the last few hundred metres. As it turned out, we could have parked quite near the cache! TFTC.
#21504. We ended up walking a bit further than we needed to, but at least the car was pointing in the right direction once we got back to it. TFTC.
Hadn’t been over this part of Ashburton. Haven’t time to venture further today but pleased to find the cache. Thanks for placing and maintaining Salvation Army

Something red and sticky has leaked in there. Has soaked the log, didn't have anything to clean up with. Cool find though
Found it!! Added a piece of dry paper as other is far too wet to write on 11.2.22
Out with woolwood9, going from cache to cache. We soon had the cache found. SL: **tm/ww NZ***Thanks for putting this out for us to visit, we enjoyed the drive / walk around!*
A quick easy find of a cute wee cache, although for us it was a few metres northwest of the coordinates. TFTC
Iceman 88 was here
Coordinates are a bit off but I looked like a geocacher

We were in town for an errand, and of course we diverted for a few caches! Quick find here, TFTC!!
I was passing here on my way to Ashburton from the river mouth; there is a (deconstructed) cardboard box at GZ - I would have removed it but it seems to have been placed there deliberately - I was unsure of the function !
Thank you for this cache, salvation army.
Thank you for this cache, salvation army.
Surprised this was here as there was a large piece of cardboard directly on top of the cache that doesn't look related. Thought that whoever put that there would have been more observant and curious. TFTC
The second day of my work-geocaching/geo-caching-work trip from Nelson to Ashburton. Work largely done and, thanks to the current vagaries of the Air NZ schedule, I have a decent amount of time to cache my way back to Christchurch airport....
Back to finding ways after a couple of DNFs. A quick find in between passing cars.
Thanks salvation army - liking your work!

Great wee hiding spot on my way home. Cache is in good order. Signed the log and left something small.
A quick find today, I see where the cache name comes from!
Not a particularly watertight container - I tipped out the water, but the bag is doing its job - the log is still dry.

In order to preserve all my Christchurch unfounds for cache raids (a personal challenge to change the colour of my daily finds on GC.com) over the next three months I decided that it would be best to travel out of town to pick up some Ashburton caches as it would also enable me to check on the success of my recent modifications to my caravan..
I needed another cache today to bring my numbers of found caches for the 17th July up to 11. As I wanted to head down to view the river mouth I decided that this would be the first cache visited. A reasonably quick find, but I was disappointed to observe that the CO had done nothing about maintaining the cache in spite of previous logs stating that maintenance was required! Very disappointing for a local CO. I removed the sodden log and left a new log in a baggie.

Today my geocaching mission was to plug the last remaining 'minute' gaps in order to complete the S43 challenge. So I set off early in the morning, heading South from Christchurch to places where I obviously hadn't cached before. As noted the log book is in a bit of a state. I managed to make my mark. TFTC, Biggles.
Sorry for not logging this earlier. Cache log is wet and cover a bit slimy.
MCB has started going for bike rides early in the morning so as today was a dot day for me I decided to keep him company and make this cache our destination. I wanted to get a dot day near the beginning of the month as I struggled to find caches in January on my dot days, muggles and dnfing as well.
I forgot to bring a pen so went to my friend's house across the road and borrowed one.
Thanks for the cache, new logbook please.

Nice to have Mum get up early and come out with me. We then went and checked on my cache too which was indeed missing.
The area was in need of some CITO but we were on bikes, no loose wheel for us. Thanks for the cache.

It was hot, there was shade, the kds were hungry. So a perfect spot to park up and eat some food and then walk about 2m to the cache. Cheers
Nice quick find on my way through Ashburton. Log is very wet. Thanks salvation army

For my personal challenge of working towards getting my calendar on GC.COM to be at least the same shade of green or darker I need to sign off at least 1 caches today. I won't grumble if I find one or two more.
This was the last find today in drizzling weather. The logbook is very wet.
Cheers for the cache.

Had a great morning in Canterbury Geo-Cacheing . Many thanks to all the cache owner's, still have heaps to do. Thanks Bitsprayer
Another nice quick park and grab which I appreciated because its getting dark and I'm hungry. Plenty of skid marks here on the grass from a few other loose wheels. TFTC # 12,858

Monday night Mad Mission with TheWanglers. A wee trip into Ashburton for a cache or two in the rain. Cold, windy and raining on and off. Quick find and sign before turning tail and heading back for home. Cheers.
A quick and easy find, in the obvious spot. My GPS had me >10 mteres away.. Thanks
A little cruise to AshVegas and back for an anniversary lunch. And a few caches too, of course.
Thanks to the CO's for placing and maintaining these caches. Cheers.

Glad it was in the obvious spot as we started hunting 11 metres "down stream." Stood back and thought a little and there it was. We nearly did a wheelie!!! Thanks.
I had a few errands to run in ash vegas so perfect opportunity to grab the few caches I hadn't found recently this was a nice quick find after donning my hi viz to blend in on a busy road tftc
