Another ILTL cache has come to end of its run.So after 6yrs & 6mths with 94 Finds, 21 DNFs, 3 Favourite points and multiple maintenance visits & issues, as well as a couple of signal box re-paintings, it is time to say farewell.Thankyou to all those who took the time to visit.??????
Was searching the likely tall item. But the area is used as a homeless camp and after finding what I thought might be a cache but was used drug needles I decided to abandon search.
Trying to clean up some of the caches around Nambour. This one took us longer than expected, a bit of caching blindness!TFTC!
Had a good look at all the places and followed hint/ description no luck this time
My second blank log for the day. Unless previous finders unrolled it all the way and signed the other end. Thanks for the cache spiderwebbs4
My final cache find for the day, and I was driving right past this geocache, that it made sense (to me) to stop and grab this find as the light had almost faded. Given the very helpful hint, the cache was a reasonably quick find, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. As GZ wasn't too far from the referenced signal box, it was then a short walk to that location to admire the artwork. Thanks [spiderwebbs4](https://coord.info/PR68A9N) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------Today, I had a rough plan to initially visit Toorbul, and then head to the Sunshine Coast to visit Baxter Falls and catch up with [dahumbug](https://coord.info/PR8W6P9) (with no firm plans otherwise). My initial visit to Toorbul had been a target for some time, and after visiting Donnybrook, I continued my drive north with a last-minute plan to detour through Palmview for a couple of bushland walks. Baxter Falls was an enjoyable and relatively easy walk, with a high amount of water flowing from recent wet days, and a Location completed from the [Four Waterfalls & a Lookout](https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/e838f6fe-82da-4017-9bec-27edd17abd6d) Adventure Lab. We then made stops in Mapleton and headed north geocaching within the vicinity, before deciding to head to Bli Bli for a few recently published geocaches. An enjoyable day out with fine weather.
In Mapleton cat sitting, out this morning bound for Maroochydore for Christmas lunch, chasing a few smilies to finish off 2023 while we were on the way. After lunch, we drove around Nambour for a while playing cache and seek. Disappointed I could not get the first answer to the Adventure Lab, and disappointed I could not find the snail! But happy that we were able to find this cache. Boy was it hard to get open. The seal is missing, and the log is full and saturated. So we replaced the log, but not the container.Merry Christmas and thanks for the cache Spiderwebbs4. Fave point cos it is Christmas, and I am feeling generous.
Up in Nambour for a weekend of off-road caching with Peppa. Picking up a few caches before heading to the motel. Spent too long concentrating on the wrong area before changing tacks and locating the hide.Tftc spiderwebbs4Find #4746
After taking most of the day to get from Caloundra to Nambour, Ive finally teamed up with Davinells for some last minute caching crazinessWow this took a long time I spent so long under the veranda Im surprised someone didnt think I was homeless I was fascinated by the tap, I fondled it to no availOnce I came out of my new home it was a quick findThanks spiderwebbs4
Aha, not exactly where we were looking at first then realised the map was right, it is up street a bit more
Visiting the Sunny Coast today for a CITO, I headed up early to collect some caches in the Nambour area.
A quick find at gz, log signed, all replaced as found.
Thanks spiderwebbs4 for the cache.

Having just found one cache, I decided to walk a little further in search of this one. GPS was having a bit of trouble settling down, so I decided to go for a bit of a wander. Ducked in towards where I thought it was ... and caught the attention of a yappy little furbaby on the end of a lead who just had to take a peek at what I was doing. Muggle owner didn't seem to be interested ... I can only imagine what he thought I was doing there ... ha ha.
Slightly out of my reach so took a photo as proof of find.

A quick find once I realised that yes, it probably was where I thought it would be! TFTC
Took a moment but found it in the end. Tftc. Forgot a pen but took a picture as proof.
spiderwebbs4 I found your cache I Like Traffic Lights Connected on 26/6/2022, 4:30 pm. This is my find 3615 and find # 14 today. Once in the right area it was a quick find. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Thanks for this one. I think I prefer looking later in the day so we don't look so weird. Suits Nambour. Thank you
This wasn't the first cache that i found yesterday on my second outing caching in Nambour, in actual fact it was the last cache i hunted for and found for the day!
In keeping with the arbitrariness that defines most of my caching adventures, it seems only fitting to start at the end.
A quick find this time round thanks to a clear nudge from the co after my last debacle.
Thanks spiderwebbs4 for the cache.
(The discarded hypodermic at gz disheartened me as to perhaps the local homeless population "utilising" the sheltered cover nearby. Be careful in your searches geoples)

Thought i'd try here after my fail down the road. ????
Crawled away, in shame after some time.

TFTC. While waiting for muggle hubby in an appt a glance at geo site showed me this cache was nearby. A quick wander, located extracted and signed log and back to car in good time.
#107 It took a while for me to figure out exactly where the cache was without looking too suspicious. But once it clicked the cache was soon in hand. TFTC.
Checked on this one today after CITO event in Nambour. Could not spot it where I left it or in the vicinity, so replaced with another nano.
Look low around the side.
Happy hunting!!

Today I had a few target caches to get, some for a challenge some for my next D/T loop and some as I was just passing. This one was one in passing and while waiting forever for these lights to change I decided to turn off and go for a walk to collect this one.
Not where I was expecting to find it but an easy find just the same. I saw the cache from a distance and quickly made a grab then signed the log. Waiting for the foot traffic to pass before I had a chance to replace it, I then headed back to my target list. Thanks for placing this one here.

Woohoo another calendar date complete. Needed a quick find late in the day before grocery shopping so this was it!
More than one 'connected' type item in the area, but quickly found cache as described at the second spot we investigated Cache in good condition, signed log and returned as found. TFTC
Caching on the Sunshine Coast with Mr CuriousQuest and Brislions. Another quick find and sign here. TFTC
Up on the Sunshine Coast grabbing a few caches with Selva Girls and CuriousQuest. We pick up 16 caches for the day. We had lots of fun today. Sorry for the generic post, yes more short log because I am so far behind in logging. TFTC. *3830* Finds
Out and about with Selva Girls and Brislions today. A quick find was made here. We signed the log and replace the cache as found. TFTC
***COs... I'm still trying to catch up on a significant logging backlog going back a number of years. Apologies for the tardy log, I am logging on the day I visited your cache.***I was up here with RoddyC, Snickersallan and patrol14 for the day to test some Wherigos at Bugs event and afterwards we cached the area till after dark.Quick find here as it was my turn at being the eagle eyes at this one.TFTC??
Trip up from the Gold Coast to this lovely part of the country with RoddyC, patrol14 & echocage1. After a morning catch up with Bugs and other local cachers trialing a Wherigo we thought we'd spend the rest of the day here finding colourful boxes.
echocage1 was very quick to spot this one, nice hide CO

Parked in a side street and made our way to GZ where this one was located quickly.
SL then returned as found.
This one could be tricky on a weekday..

First find! Next to a busy street well in view of the muggles so do your best to stay inconspicuous.
Out with Nyssaflutterby and 1Minniemoo on our last Wednesday out for this term. The first time we'd all been able to make it this term!
This one took us a little while as we didn't expect it to be there.

Continuing our journey around grabbing some of the traffic light series, this was our next stop. We managed to find a carpark just around the corner, and wandered on over, where we felt a little suspicious looking around, so waited for a guy parked right next to us to leave. Then Nyssa made the find thankfully quite quickly.
Thanks for the cache spiderwebbs4.

I think this one may have been stolen. I followed the hint exactly and came up empty handed.
I had just completed a lap of town and was almost back to my starting location. I had ogled some traffic box signals, marveled at some that had gone missing, and appreciated some that had been repainted.
Thinking out loud, I am suddenly mad as hell that I don’t have the key job of deciding when traffic box signals need to be repainted. I want to be part of the committee that “dates” the art on each box and stands around wondering whether there is a younger, more ground-breaking artist that could add a pop of culture to the community (and needs a shower).
I also wonder what the mafia scene is for getting your artwork on a box. Do rival groups drive around town throwing ice-creams on the artwork that is not part of the gang? Do they write foul language in liquid paper on opposing gang traffic boxes. Will any of this dribble I’m writing make sense in the morning. tftc

Saturday. In the area needing to attend a nearby event and so wanted to turn this previously unfound cache into a smiley. My arrow had me going in circles for a bit, despite the hint which was a good one. Eventually found the cache and signed the log.
This was the 1st of 2 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***spiderwebbs4***, for showing us this place.

Out during school hours for a caching adventure between Palmwoods and Nambour, picking up some hitherto unfound caches.
There certainly are quite a few traffic lights in Nambour. How do I know? Cos there are loads of traffic light caches to find, of course!
This one was easily found once I went through the different iterations and found a hint regarding the current location. Logged and returned as found.

This find makes smilie # 5,674. TFTC **spiderwebbs4**, discover our TB

We were in Nambour for a few hours and couldn't resist grabbing a couple of caches.

Replaced, moved, updated co-ordinates, re-enabled - still didn't take the maintenance note off, so another log to do this.
Even though only replaced a couple of weeks ago, by all reports it seems the cache has been kidnapped again. Although, I pass by most days to & from work, I am hesitant to do maintenance in the dark, so will disable until I can get there at a more suitable time to determine the best plan of action.
off to Nambour to find some

Thursday. Slow Puncture was out and about today with barbbowman and Raynersinoz. Like others, couldn’t find this cache today.
This was the only DNF we had on this trip.
Thanks ***spiderwebbs4***, for showing us this place anyway, hopefully we will be back!
