Was travelling past here for work the other day and noticed that the pine tree this one was hidden in has been cut down. Would be worth the cache owner checking and possibly replacing this cache.
2 of us looked for 20 mins in what should be the obvious place with no success. Nice spot to stop, shame we couldn't find it
Unfortunately we just couldn’t seem to find this one today even after a good 25 minutes or so. Maybe next time
My mate has a special interest in cemeteries and I like geocaching. The combo works well for a Christmas road trip adventure
My first attempt at this cache was abandoned due to muggle workmen in the area. Today I was in the area early so no problem to make a quick find.
On our way to Scamander for 3 nights, so taking the targa route in order to log a few caches along the way. Cold but dry, so makes for efficient finds and signs.
There are a lot of worse places to buried than this little resting places........ as long as you qualify by being dead ! Luckily the cache was not buried, and allowed for an efficient signing of the log. Thanks Hilberts for another one of yours today.

We are spending another wonderful day in the North East area of Tasmania, exploring the region and collecting as many caches along the way as practical. And the bonus is the weather is a beautiful spring day too.
We always respectfully enjoy visiting cemeteries and this one was particularly nice and well maintained. Also with it being Father’s Day lots of fresh flowers placed on graves and a few muggles visiting. We made our way away from the muggles and discretely headed to gz. Luckily the tree was bug enough to hide us while we logged the cache. TFTC

Another interesting old Cemetery for us to explore, we made our way to GZ and soon had the cache in hand and added our names to the log, thanks for bringing us here.
This weekend was meant to be a quick trip to the big island but with Gladys ruining that chance for everyone we came up with another plan and after a quick chat that Goose had never been to Musselroe Bay and i was more than happy to try and clean up the Northeast corner that is more than a days drive from home
Thanks for the cache.

Just like in the Gladstone Cemetery, my phone went haywire and was sending me away from the cache not towards it. Stainless steel rat was on track and set us straight and we soon found the cache. There are some beautiful old trees here, not to mention some interesting headstones as usual.
Thanks Hilberts
Thanks Hilberts
Was working in the north east and needed to stop to stretch my legs so stopped to look for this one, after being followed by a chook down across the cemetery to gz a quick find was made, signed the log then headed back for the ute and onto the next job. TFTC
Found after a short search. Was befriended by a lonely chook who tried to follow our car. Hope it found it's way home. TFTC
Brought my old mum to Ringarooma to stay with some old friends, she had a wonderful time. One must do some caching in the area while staying.
Snuck away before tea to grab some caches.
Easy find. Thanks for the cache

RLD4963, the GeoGSP and I were visiting the north of the state for a couple of days. After staying overnight at Hadspen we searched for some caches as we made our way to Weldborough for the night.
Another interesting place to stop, A nice quick find at GZ.

out and about with 2 Rafas caching of to the north and then the east perhaps. TFTC TNBPLN log dry. easy find in the old tree, so old the council might cut it down soon. I would move it to another tree. Thank.
#9961 - 7:16:00 AM; Set out early for a primarily GCA caching run around the north east. Parked the geomobile and headed off towards GZ, where I was rewarded with a quick find on a nice sized cache. Took my time on the return to check out some of the local residents. TFTC Hilberts
While the rest of the family finished packing up the camping gear, a couple of us snuck out to find a couple more caches in the area before we left. TFTC
Love caches with a story to tell. Lots of stories here. Thanks for this opportunity to stop and smell the roses.
What a beautiful quiet spot. Sat in the car under the big pine tree and watch big black rainclouds Rolin we had some spare bread and fruit and fed the local rooster that happened to be living here. My son has called him GEO quite fitting don’t you think.
Left a pencil and some stickers we took a trinket for ourselves and enjoyed feeding Sir GEO

This was my third cemetery find for the day and last of 13 finds. Paid my respects to some old friends there. TFTC.
Tassie Trip Day 206 - It was time to go for a drive and we headed off toward the west but only until we had enough of the roads which is not as long as some would like to go but the Secretary has the call.
The council were in attendance and was there to open the gate for us today as it had some not so good hinges for the wind that had been around recently however after travelling though the resting souls we arrived at the GZ and the cache was soon accessed to sign the log and return it as was found.
Thanks Hilberts for showing us this wonderful cemetery.

On our Tour round Tassie we drove over the mountains. The cache could be found after a short search.

Mr and Mrs banian's visit to Tasmania for a bit of a look around and a cache or two.
From Launceston to Swansea today, by not the most direst route. We do look for cemetery caches and make an effort to find them.
Signed log, TFTC Hilberts.

Have cached in this cemetery before. Think the previous cache found here was very close in location to this one!!
The container was quite damp inside but the log sheet was nice and dry.
Mr Beetle was grateful that this wasn't a multi as we were pressed for time today.
Thanks.

Found during a memorable trip touring around Tasmania for the fortnight. This was at an impromptu lunch-time spot, all very rewarding to find a cache about 40 metres from where we parked. Thanks for the cache Hilberts!
A great day out with gridge98 up to the northeast of tassie to collect some caches. Most were fairly easy finds in some great locations. TFTC
Another great day out caching with JL Rockstar, after yesterday collecting caches around the north west of the state. We decided to head up around the north east instead and collect some caches. Overall we found 18 caches for the day and were taken to some pretty interesting and historic areas.
A look around as we have some family members here.
I am currently writing detailed logs because of a challenge provided by Project-GC. "The Author" Badge challenges geocachers to average one hundred words or more in each log. Given that I have found so many GC caches, I have to write many logs with well over 100 words for a long period of time to get my average to the target. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that I can strive to attain this challenge. After over 5000 plus caches (which includes all cache finds up and including yesterday), the average log length is just over 70 words. I am now entertaining the possibility that I might be able to achieve my task before the end of next year. It's surprising how much is has increase since doing this.

Yellow Tailed Black Cockatoos calyptorhynchus funereus were feeding on pine cones all around. How poingnant
Today we explored the North East area and enjoyed our journey to this cache.
An easy find at GZ.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

A beautiful sunny day but with rain clouds all around. A lovely quiet spot for a cache. TFTC
Taking a very circuitous route from Hobart to Stanley found us at this interesting spot, and of course, another cache with a nice easy find.
Many thanks for putting a cache here Hilberts.
Many thanks for putting a cache here Hilberts.
Headed towards GZ but no very hopeful as I could see a large tree had some limbs fallen out of it and parts of the tree had been cut down. Luckily that tree wasn’t GZ and cache was safe and sound in its hideout. My third cemetery visit today. TFTC my seventh find today
I do enjoy visiting historical old mining town cemeteries, the stones tell some ripper stories. Unfortunately raining heavily so no time to explore. An easy find.. thanks..!!
Drove in as far as I could and wandered over to GZ for a quick find. TFTC Hilberts
This was our second cemetery visit today. Where the Stronach cemetery is devoid of trees and plantings the Branxholm cemetery has some very attractive large trees, both evergreen and deciduous, as well as a few little beds of shrubs. We had visited this cemetery early in our caching days looking for a now archived cache.
Again accurate coordinates got us to the hide but the shorter team member could not reach the cover material so had to call on her taller counter part. We were surprised to find several blank log sheets before noting that the original cache had been missing and had recently been replaced. Cache container and contents were in very good condition. It is nice to find good sized containers with swaps.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache Hilberts. Hopeful this container will not be muggled easily by human or animal.

Spent ages at the spot, but despite the 2 of us searching and clearing the debris in the tree we did not find it. Wonder if it has been " animal muggled" as there was a dead animalin the tree Cheers
This cache was released the day we left the area a few weeks ago! A quick drive in and a muggle with his dog was there but left not long after we arrived!

After days of hanging around the area,
I was at camp last night and downloaded a new PQ
And discovered that somebody had hidden three new caches,
not 5 kms from me campsite [:o]
The day dawned gloomy and showery .... again
So of course I changed course this morning and took the now familiar drive to Branholm
I had wondered over the last few days why this picturesque cemetery didn't hide a cache !! [:o]
I put it down to that I must have found a cache here on me last visit in 2009
This morning in the drizzle,
I headed for GZ at back of cemetery
A quick find in the obvious place [^]
TFTC,
and reminder that I should check me PQ's every day !! [:o]
