TFTC out on the geoscooter with Algae on his geoeuc grabbing some smilies in the Mildura area. Decided to have breakfast in Mildura then hit some caches. A great day out. Awesome area going to have to come out o. The geobikes
Found while in the area trying to clean up the GOT series. I was 'thrown' by this cache thinking it was GOT #8 and wasted a lot of time searching the benches before the light came on. Turns out I was parked at a different location to what I'd planned. Thanks for the cache ww2_nut.
Enjoyed a wonderful sunny Sunday morning bike riding/dog walking around Kings Billabong. Made a quick find here after organising kids with bikes (always takes longer than it should!)
TFTC!
TFTC!
This one really STUMPED is, we BRANCHED out everywhere but we will get to the ROOT cause of it but in the meantime we have to LEAF the area.
Camped at Psyche bend for a few days so grabbed the nearby caches on the bike.
Very fast find in the 'obvious' spot. TFTC

Southern Autumn adventure Day 56. Mildura Trip Day 5. Everyone from Canberra has now headed off and I have a couple more days here. I did move from Red Cliffs to Mildura Central today, so that took all the morning. Once I was set up, I headed down to the river by the Psyche Pumps to try and get to as many of the caches in that area done before it got too dark and then do a night multi. Apart from getting cold, I was really happy at how well the area has dried out after the flooding, and it is excellent that so many caches have been repaired or replaced this year. That is very encouraging.

I loved this find. One of my fav spots to come never thought to check for a cache well done!
Flood recovery maintenance run:
Had been disturbed by flood water. Dried out and a new dry logbook put in. All ready for more visitors.

Found in the dark after scoping the place out for bird watching. Keen to get back here on another day. TFTC
What a beautiful spot, spent 2 nights camped along this Billabong, peaceful yet so close to town. Thank you for placing this cache, of course, out here, every tree is a good hidey hole
Running out of space on the physical logbook but the name describes the spot, you will have to make sure to look in all the crevices, but not a really hard spot. thanks for the cache!!
The not so obvious part of the tree ha ha. Left a tiny swap since there was room. TFTC
Thanks for the making us stop at this beautiful spot. Will have to bring the bikes this way next time we cycle this way. So much exploring to be done. TFTC
Evilracing found it today but my fingers was too big to remove it to sign the book but that was a beautiful hide
Found after a short search with tassie expat. Jeez I hope there's nothing else in there! Tftc
A quick find with frmen1. We have a division of geocaching labour...I do spider webby hides and he does long grass ones. One of us was the only brave one. Cache guardian spotted. TFTC
Took my friend for a geocache mission today! This one was pretty easy but of a bugger to actually grab though
Please excuse belated generic log. We (and LAPUN) began our objective to drive from home, (being border towns Albury/Wodonga NSW/Vic on the Mighty Murray river) to Eucla WA and return.
Departed on the 17th April and returned Anzac day 25th.A good 8 days camping at a different place each night. Caching was not one of our objectives but managed an average of 2 per day giving a total of 16 hides.
All hides were in good to fair condition and none required maintenance. Thanks to CO for placement of cache.

After a few days in Mildura with Happy pants, Happy Feet, The Empire, omegaman1971 and Rebel Acts it was time to grab a coffee and grab the last few caches before heading for home. It was a great time away with nice weather and good company. A great time was had by all.
SO - with the prerequisite coffee and car fueled, we headed back to grab the few remaining caches in this area.
Thanks for the cache ww2_nut. Appreciate your efforts.
Stamped log and returned as found.

This was a great opportunity to get away with some caching friends in Mildura. The plan was to hit some of the local trails and geo art. There was many other hides discovered, with some really great containers and hides in the area.
Yes I suppose it was the obvios tree and it was soon in hand with no muggles this early enjoying the picnic area.
Thanks ww2_nut for placing the cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy the find.

My last day here in Mildura, Happy Pants was keen to finish the Game of Thrones series this morning - no matter how much walking we needed to do! Snap Happy, Rebel Acts and Happy Feet joined for a fun morning wandering around these cool trails picking up clues along the way... and any other caches that we came across. Thanks for the cache ww2_nut.

In Mildura for a few days with Snap Happy, omegaman1971, Happy Feet, Happy Pants and The Empire.
After finishing off the GOT series it was time for Me to do the turtle series, it was a little challenging getting to some locations but I managed to get them all done.
The highlight for the day were the fantastic gadget caches in the area.
Thanks ww2_nut for the cache.

Great little hide on a kings billabong day out with a Nissan full of kids. First find for the day
Looked in the obvious spots on multiple obvious trees but didn’t find any cache in any of them.
Very sneaky, a little fiddly to get out as I didn't want to put my hand inside. But got it out with a handy stick.

Found on a trip from Adelaide to the Mildura area for a few days of caching with Team Waldron, Brisal5 and FeatherWaite. Our main targets were the Paddle Steamer and Turtle geoart series' but we also took the opportunity to seek out a few other caches along the way.
We were fortunate with the weather. After a burst of very hot days, we timed our trip nicely to coincide with the milder conditions before the next hot spell. That helped to make both the caching and the camping along the Murray River and in the Murray-Sunset National Park very pleasant.
We ended up finding all the caches that we had targeted. Most were in good order. Some of the puzzles were quite challenging and there were some very novel and entertaining multi's. Some certainly took a bit of finding and there were many very clever and/or tricky caches and containers that were a credit to the cache owners’ ingenuity.
It would have been good to have had another day or two to complete the remaining caches in the area, but I’m sure we’ll be back.
Thanks to all the cache owners for the hides.

Over from SA for 4 days of caching with Egregory1, Featherwaite and Brisal5.
We came primarily to do the Paddlesteamer series but picked up orthers as we drove around.
Apologies for the generis logs.
All caches we found were in good order.
Thanks to all cache owners whose caches we found.

Found during a trip from Adelaide to the Mildura area for a few days of caching with Brisal5, e.gregory1 and Team Waldron with the main aim to complete the Paddle Steamer and Turtle GeoArt series but also to find other caches along the way. We camped out on the banks of the Murray River near Mildura on the first night, at Rocket Lake campground in the Murray-Sunset National Park on the second night, then back to the banks of the Murray River near Merbein on the last night. We signed the logs as B.E.F.W. Thanks to all the cache owners for placing the cache!
***Generic Log unless something special above this line.***
I have seen a T shirt with Sleep Eat Cache Repeat [^] Well a four day trip to Mildura with caching friends Team Waldron, E.gregory and FeatherWaite certainly fit that bill. Logs were signed with initials only for the teams - BEFW
Up at daybreak, quick breakfast and cache all day stopping only to have a snack whilst out on the trails, rush to set up camp near dusk for a meal, then perhaps some night caching, early night and REPEAT!
Strategic camping at Kings Billabong, Rocket lake and The Common meant we were close by the Geoart and target night caches. Two previous trips in 2013 and 2016 by me and some by E.gregory meant we visited some (well quite a few actually) previous finds but that made it quick for the people that hadn't found them previously.
I can't thank the CO's of these caches enough as some were really very inventive. Even having solved most puzzles before we came we were confronted with field puzzles and gadgets that were just mind boggling. [:X][:X][:X]
***Thanks ww2_nut for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

The start point for a morning of riding around this beautiful place. Great find to start our day!
Hi there ww2_nut.
We found your cache **"The obvious tree"** at 11:40:00 AM today.
Today we headed out from our camp site so we could finish the "GOT" series. - but we also had to find this one. As it's not part of the series it deserves a finely crafted log, not one of the crappy cut-n-paste ones that usually are associated with series logs..
Thanks for placing this cache here. Over the years, Geocaching has taken us on many adventures and to lots of wonderful destinations all over Australia. Without 'caching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our nomadic wanderings. 'Caching has also introduced us to a diverse group of like-minded people, many of whom we now call friends.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache roughly where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container is in good shape. We replaced the log sheet.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Nothing.
Thank you ww2_nut for adding to our adventure.
Regards
Ian & Penny
