We are on another short (three day) caching holiday in North Western Sydney, staying for two nights in a park cabin at the Ingenia Holidays Avina BIG4 Holiday Park at Vineyard. Hoping to collect some previously solved Mystery/Puzzle caches, complete some Adventure Labs, and accumulate enough cache finds for this month’s "Wheel of Challenges" easy & hard souvenir chase. Photos will be uploaded to some (most) logs on our return to home base.
Today (day 2) we explored the areas around Wilberforce, Ebenezer, and Sackville. Completed a five stage Adventure Lab, as well as a couple of random Adventure Lab stages (waypoints), and collected numerous Traditional caches, a previously solved Mystery/Puzzle cache, a MultiCache, and a Virtual cache. This was the 16th of 31 finds for the day (day 2), and 36th find of the holiday.
After visiting Ebenezer Church for some caches and an Adventure Lab we headed up Tizzana Road and this is the next cache we came to, and it was a nice quick find on arrival at GZ. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC Cruiseforever.

Came along today to add some more smileys to the map of the Hawkesbury area. You just have to love geocaching, especially on Valentines Day. It was a good run and goingplaces2 came along for the ride. This cache was a successful find and the log was signed. TFTC.

I joined Fitzy_1965 & MinnieK for a trip to Sydney to drop in on another Celebration Event. This time in the Hawksbury. We used up the rest of the day doing a series of Challenge caches near Penrith, including a bonus First to Find, and then some of the EG caches surrounding the event location. A long but exhiklerating day of caching.

24,767. Found with minniek and albida33 during a run up to the Ebenezer region for a Community Celebration Event.
When we spotted another Community Celebration Event being held up at a Winery in the Ebenezer region, we decided to head up that way for a full day of caching. A foggy start from Goulburn had us soon burn through for what was a lovely day to be outside. After finishing off a bunch of challenge caches along The Northern Road - including a surprise first to find - we started doing the EG-Q series and other bonus caches along the way. After the event we continued along cherry-picking caches. This was a nice quick find. Signed the log, replaced the cache as found, then we headed off to the next one.
Thanks Cruiseforever !! Nicely set up.

Headed Sydney way with fitzy_1965 and albida33 today.
We had seen the community celebration event a few weeks ago. I was keen to get to Ebenezer as my Australian family roots come from there so made plans to head north today. After a foggy start, it turned out to be a rather warm day compared to Canberra and surrounds lately.
On our way through Ebenezer, we decided to start doing this series of caches. My Ancestry Family Reunion is held in Ebenezer at the Church every 5 yrs. It got postponed from last year and has just been postponed again so nice to come up here regardless. My descendants, on my Australian side, were on the Neptune which was part of the Second Fleet. They are buried at Ebenezer and Wilberforce cemeteries.
Turning to head for home, we collected a few more caches whilst we had some time up our sleeves. Thanks Cruiseforever.

We're camping at Wisemans Ferry for a few days and today I'm on a caching excursion to Ebenezer and back via a somewhat circuitous route on both sides of the river.
This one had me tricked initially but then I saw something suspicious ... nice hide Cruiseforever and thanks.

Great day of caching near the Hawkesbury River. Started in Ebenezer with the AL, unfortunately very unsuccessful as the location service on my phone was struggling and could not fix on the wp's I needed. Luckily I also made a good plan for other caches so the day turned out productive. Weather was really good, about 20 with a little breeze and nice and sunny. Had to wait for a few muggles

CUT AND PASTE SECTION
Streak day 60.
Below is a blurb about us.
We are trying to get a badge from Project-GC for writing found log files of 100 words or more. Once we get this badge we will stop writing this. We are also trying to
get badges for adding photos to our found logs.
We Started caching in December 2019 and by January 2020 we were hooked. As we are on the road full time (living in a caravan), caching fits in well with this lifestyle.
It is taking us to places that we would normally not have gone.
When we move to a new place we also look at what caches are in the area and how many days we will need to be there to get the caches we want.

Out on a fine autumn morning for some caches which have gone down since we were last in the area. Quick find. Took nothing left nothing, Cache all good. TFTC
After disappearing from some very annoyed dogs nearby, worked out the hide and found it without too much trouble. Didn’t realise that cars pass through this road at full speed, it’s pretty frightening. Sorted out the signing, and returned the cache to its hide. Back into the car, and onwards. Thanks for the hide!

My 6000 milestone is very close. If I grab eight today I can get it at a CITO tomorrow night - haven’t got a CITO as a milestone so far.
But there are t a lot of areas in Sydney that I can get eight finds. But I do have the ability to get that many if I head north of Richmond.
Decided to target three traditionals(one a previous DNF) and five puzzles in the *Ying Yang* series.
The day went well, finding everything I went for - including the previous DNF.

#8922 - 15:05; I was headed north with Sol de lune to attend an event in the Hawkesbury and we stopped off for a few caches along the way. The day was very hot and peaked at more than 40 degrees, so the chosen caches for today were all located close to roads. This was one of the drive bys we collected on our way after we had passed through suburbia and were closing in on our destination. TFTC Cruiseforever
Heading up to the Hawkesbury area to attend an Aussie Day event with LuckyL10n and the plan was to stop to grab a few caches along the way. We decided to find a few in this area as we thought some of the GZ would offer a bit of shade, compared to other areas along the way.
With the heat of the day, it was just about making the find and getting back to the car.
Thanks for this one Cruiseforever. Cache all good. Fav point for the effort that has gone into the hide.

After attending the New Year's day event at the Tizzana Vineyard I wanted to do some more caches whilst slowly driving back home.
Many of the finds were related to the Ebenezer GeoQuest series, but as I did not manage to visit all of the 25 caches, I definitely will need to comeback for more geocaching in this beautiful area.
An easy find at the bus stop. Smart way of hiding the decent sized cache.

Set out this morning with the aim of finding 9 cache types in a day. Started at Circular Quay for a virtual and earth cache at 7am. Then I grabbed a letterbox near Luddenham and a challenge/mystery cache on Northern Rd. Next I'm off to the monthly CITO at Ebenezer.
As I was driving past this one, it was a great opportunity to log a traditional. Container is nicely tucked away and a bit of a challenge for the vertically challenged. Signed log and swapped TBs.

On the way out to the monthly CITO at Charles Kemp Reserve I stopped here to check for the cache. I'd read the logs and knew it may not be possible for me as I'm vertically challenged.
No cache but I did disturb a bird nesting under the roof. Hope I didn't scare it away so much it leaves its babies or eggs.
The CITO and the Meet and Greet were good and as always there was plenty of geochat. Someone gave me an idea of how I could reach this one. It worked!
According to Geocaching guidelines this is not a T 1.5 but a T2.
Thank goodness I have now found it and signed the log.

Another day OCW marj01. After a very early start from the eastern subs we arrived at Ebenezer at first light to commence the day. During the course of the day we visited 69 trads, 4 multis, 2 puzzle and 2 letterbox caches. With only a handfull of dnfs it was a successfull day, with the majority of the caches being found in a reasonably short time. Thanks to all the COs for hiding and maintaining their caches and providing us with a fun day. Clever cache and a worthy fav point. Cheers oldmorty.
Kid free for the week, I could go searching for as many catches as i pleased! So on a return to the area i can finally finish off the caches i missed on my previous visits.
Thanks for the cache.

After a bit of a hiatus in weed-pulling in the Charles Kemp Nature Reserve down the road, mostly as a result of travels and kids' birthday parties which clashed with the regular CITO, I was happy to be back down this way and ready for some work out in nature.
I had noticed that there was a cache nearby, and I had originally planned to pick it up after the CITO. However, I realised I was a bit early for the CITO and decided to make a brief stop before the work. I still had to load the co-ordinates into the GPSr (although it probably wasn't necessary given the type of cache I was expecting), and then I went off in search of the container.
A quick inspection of likely hiding places was rewarded with a view of something that looked a little suspicious; a neat way of hiding a container this size. I retrieved it quickly and added my name to the log sheet before putting everything back as found. Then back to business and a rewarding CITO for the morning.

We found this cache while on our way out to Tizzana Winery for the annual caching event. The cache was soon retrieved and the log was signed and no muggles passed by on this quiet Sunday afternoon. On a cache run this morning with JJCC picking up a cache for the Geocaching Australia GeosportZ 2018 game as this particular cache meets the requirements for our Shooting challenge. Many moons ago spent most mornings waiting for the school bus at this shelter...not much has changed except a few coats of paint and a lot more houses around the area now, gone are all of the citrus orchards that once covered this valley.
A relatively quick find as it was the first spot we checked, although the terrain rating of the cache at present (T1.5) doesn't really reflect the actual location with its change in elevation. With the cache in hand we signed the log before replacing as found. Both the cache container and logsheet are in good condition. Thanks for the cache Cruiseforever.

Toriaz and I had been out to this part of the world to do some more of the Yin Yang series today. We decided to drop by to do this cache on our way home, before another one comes out. We took this cache too lightly. We did a sweep of the bus stop and came up with nothing. I couldn't see how we were missing a small. We seemed to have looked everywhere, so I began to think it was either really a micro, or it had gone missing. Neither was true. Toriaz took another look somewhere where we had both already looked, and found something a little unusual. The cache was indeed still in place and it was a small! Well done. Thanks

Our final cache for the day. We'd had a long day out here, knocking off a few more of the yin-yang puzzles. We were tired and hot and hungry, and we decided to head for home. But that took us close to this one, so we stopped to have a look.
We were expecting something simple, and were surprised that we didn't find it quickly. But we persisted, and I finally spotted something a little bit suss looking. That was clever, and not at all what I'd been expecting. Well done.
Thanks
