With a day of warm, sunny weather, before a week of clouds of and rain, I decided to make the most of it and head out for a day of caching. One of the targets for this afternoon was to head to Scott Conservation Park for a good stretch of the legs and search for a few caches. Having done what I was after in the conservation park, I decided to go after a few caches in the nearby area before heading home. All caches were found in good condition, unless otherwise stated, in what was an enjoyable afternoon making my way around the dirt roads of country South Australia.Find #11227, at 04:27 pmTFTC

Mr Tardis was out for a ride on the motorbike enjoying the nice January weather.
Not sure about bugs, but the ants had made a nest of the cache. I tipped them out and moved the cache half a metre away from the ants nest.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache Redappletree.

Caches everywhere are located and logged using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S20+, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just plain old dumb luck!
---
Please do stay safe when caching.
Lookout for mud, snakes, surprise cliffs, wild goats, wombats, bulldust, and lightning,
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins and don't fall out of trees...
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- but especially lookout for bugs. [xx(]
Make sure Travel Bugs are the only bugs you share and pass on
We really appreciate all those placing quality caches out and about around the countryside,
it keeps our game safe, fun, and interesting

Found on my way back from Goolwa after a short cruise of the river with friends. Though beautiful, these little buggers are sap suckers. I have lost a few rhubarbs, being devoured by these little critters . Thanks Redappletree.

Have driven past this road dozens of times but never ventured down it - today there was a good excuse as there were 3 caches to get. Loved the containers - very creative - fav point for the work put into them. All 3 caches found and logs signed.
We are very pleased that you choose not to make an over life size mosquito, that could have been scary. Your creation here was again great. SL TFTC
Came for a drive this morning before it got too hot as I needed to get a couple of caches to fulfill a personal challenge to find 5 caches per calendar day. [^]
I really enjoyed my drive to get these three caches, it was very pretty even on a hot day.
Found the first cache then knew what to expect for the other two. Great effort on the containers.
Thanks for the cache Redappletree.

found with allister w on route to victor habour to do a island cache. Was coming past and thought to finish off this series this trip. nicely themed cache and a quick find.
Hevwalker had a day off and wanted to go and check on one of her caches on the Fleurieu Peninsular. I was free so we made a day of it caching our way south west in search of that elusive smilie. I even managed to rectify a couple of previous DNF's but as usual added another one to the list. [B)] But it was great day will lots of walking to caches in Conservation Parks where the spring flowers were starting to be in abundance.
Nest in the series and my favourite hide. Another easy find.
**Thanks Redappletree for this cache. **

Another quick find as we drove through the area collecting bugs.
I bet these bugs have trouble taking flight. They feel as heavy as, well, cement!
Thanks Redappletree.

Left work about 8:30 tonight and needed a cache that was torch-accessible; I was glad to have this one to pick up! Will get the last one tomorrow; I’ve only got three weeks left of a 365 day streak! Btw Harlequin bugs are little devils! They killed all of my tomatoes last year!

Hadn't been up long and was wondering what to do with the day when Bugger me, three new caches are published. Still wanting a FTF for the month it was now obvious what the day was for.
Another blank log and another great hide.
Thanks to Redappletree for a nice, 3 part, series
