Had to remove this from a power transformer, due to rule changes, and have not yet been able to set up another location ....watch this space.
Happy caching.

As this nearby my residence, I will be sorting this out during this Covid-19 lockdown period, during one of my walks with the dog.
Have been a little pre occupied sorting out supplies for our medically fragile son, which has been happening for us since January.
Thanks for your understanding.

Have re-engineered the cache container to fit in with the location, Planning on putting in place when back from holidays.
Have secured all the locations and parts to construct various caches to do a spring clean on our problem caches shortly.
This cache was on an electrical transformer, hence the disable status.
A new location has been located, am now changing the hide to suit the location.
Hopefully back up in a few weeks.

Heading home to Taranaki and stopped into a local bakery to take some donuts to my brothers for a visit before we leave. This was a quick park and grab TFTC
Time for another wander round while my wife stays with some friends. I was a little lonely today but still managed a good haul which included this little cache. Found quickly thanks to accurate coords and a straight forward placement. Cheers & TFTC
On our way back to Auckland and stopped off for a rest so a good opportunity to get a cache. Nice street art. Thanks.
I had time today to go and find a few caches before I had to head to the airport and home. I got up early and was on the road by 6.30. Quite quiet round here this morning so I could search and find in peace. TFTC, Biggles.

During our holidays in New Zealand, we spent a couple of days in Northland with program sightseeing, gastronomy and, of course, Geocaching!
So, we took the time to visit a few Caches, to remove some green, orange or blue dots on our map.
We will distribute favorite points according to our mood and caches met.
Thank you to all Owners for the installation of these boxes and for their maintenance.
A nice place for a box!
Greetings from France!

Nice and easy park and grab. Found on the first morning after the school holidays. I treated myself with caching on a nice and sunny day of spring. Aaaah. Thanks for hiding. TFTC
In the area with Merlot and Aiden and were driving past this street art so stopped and soon had the cache in hand. They have gone to a lot of trouble to paint this artwork!
Happened to be doing a multi closeby with Merlot58 and Jag50 and we realised that this cache was at the end of the road, so we quickly stopped to find it.
Find number 4126. I was trying to find an access point for another nearby cache when I noticed I was driving past this one. A quick stop and find. All quiet in the cafe on Sunday afternoon. (It was closed) A good time to grab this one. Thank you for the placement.
I came down to South Auckland to pick up a few mystery challenges. I have FINALLY completed the 366 grid on my stats today and no time like the present I'm off to do Yugeo's challenge after this cache.
At first I thought this was going to be an epic search, so started 'there' and wouldn't you know it... I found the cache in the first spot I checked. Oh dear... I looked up at the sky... dark grey and thick clouds have loomed upon me and sure enough I quickly sign the log back at my car and only just replaced the cache and it bucketed down! Very heavy rain meant I stayed put in my car until it had eased enough for me to carry on. Thanks for the cache stik-a-crane, that was a lucky one.

Heading south this evening, so made a short detour at Drury to make our daily streak cache find. Parked close to GZ and one of us got out to make the find. After his initial failure, the other one got out and soon had the cache in her hand. (Hate / Love it when that happens )
My caching stats for this year are shockingly bad. Must be time to rectify that but not sure how with the current commitments. Was pleased I had a few spare minutes on a sunny day to add just one more. TFTC
1.45pm - Day 2 - Today Squirrel Nutcase and I opted for a different direction. Ground no better under foot so we opted for gum boots today, great choice and should have done this yesterday as well. Think we will add these to our TOTT.
Able to pick up a couple of older puzzles we had solved so that was good.
Looking forward to coming back here when it becomes a little dryer. SLTFTC

With Gap (of Fap and Gap)... We combine a caching adventure with a couple of Gap's measuring jobs today. The decision was made to head out to East Auckland...
As ugly as they might appear, gumboots are a tool of the trade for caching in Auckland. Only gumboots can handle the boggy, waterlogged soil that is common in these parts. We wore our gumboots all day, and we didn't even feel self-conscious about it... Fred Dagg would have been proud!
Last find for the weekend, and a straight forward one too. These artworks never get boring, and they turn an otherwise eyesore into something more appealing. Found this one perching. TFTC.

One of only two straightforward finds today! I made a muck up of things elsewhere but this was a quick find. Always great to find these installations "prettied up". Thanks for bringing me here Stik-a-crane!
Had a realisation today that we hadn't found one single cache at all this month. Not wanting our stats to reflect on this non achievement, we needed to find a cache before months end. Life is very busy at the moment with a new chapter about to start so geocaching may have to be put on hold for a while.
We parked alongside and made a quick find with no one around late on a Sunday afternoon. Driven past a few times and have spotted this location previously. All good here, TFTC!

Out today working with Kiwiriki Guides to earn their Geocaching badge . . . . . I have a dot day today so needed this smilie . . . . . TFTC
We are out today with our Guide unit learning about Geocaching . . . . . this one wasn't too hard for us to find . . . . . the girls loved that they knew what the container was . . . . . we signed . . . put it back and moved on . . . . . .thanks for the hide
Well the planned vacation was finally upon us and with first escaping work and making a mad dash for the airport. So it only sems right to quickly grab acache before heading off.
Thanks for the placement, Thanks for the cache

A bit peckish at 12 noon....so thought I'd grab a bite at nearby cafe....Not even open !
Nice easy park and grab. Had seen this one published but had just got home from a 14 hour day at work so did not race for ftf but glad to tick it off on a dot day
Stopped by after the After CITO Lunch and found with tuolei and LostCourse. Then came later and found it with NZTravellers and Janno216, then even later with keylev, cragger and laval. The police finally had to ask me move along. TFTC.
Agazo mentioned that he was interested in coming to get this one at the Post CITO Lunch Event and since Lostcourse and I wanted to trick Agazo into coming on to the multi with us that he FTFed so he could show us the answers, we agreed to come here too.
Got to GZ and saw the likely item, surprised as I didn't think they were approving hides on these anymore. Still, after a quick search we found the cache. After that we went and did the multi and returned to our cars afterwards where we watched some other cachers look for it too.
I moved along but Agazo hung around waiting for other cachers to come and look for it. Eventually I heard on the police scanner they had to ask him to move along. Thanks for the cache, all good here and a nicely decorated GZ.

Found this Little one quickly after we finished the new Multi nearby.
Thanks for hiding!
Thanks for hiding!
After the after CITO lunch event Agazo, Tuolei and I decided to head over this way and collect this new hide. So down Great South Road we three headed, all arriving at GZ around the same time. We got to searching, but even with three of us searching it took a couple of minutes to come up with the goods. Agazo missed it on the first pass, but Tuolei soon found it when he rechecked that spot. Later on in the day, we stop by here again and watched others struggle to find this, so called, D1 hide. Cheers for the cache placement!
Having had a busy morning what with a CITO and then an Event lunch AND a nearby multi we decided that this recently released cache was worth a visit.
As we had done the multi with various other cachers there were many eyes able to assist with the search. Although one of the cachers from the event had already found it (Agazo is TOUGH to get any clues from) we still took time to find the cache.
Eventually it was found and the log signed. Keylev, Cragger and Laval had taken some time to get back to the cars and subsequently arrived at GZ a little later than all of us. Agazo suggested that we keep hold of the cache container and see how long it took Keylev, Cragger and Laval to get frustrated at NOT finding the cache, we couldn't be that mean and just rehid it before they arrived.

Joined Keylev, Laval, Cragger, NZT, Agazo et al for a quick park and grab here, well it would have been if some of the group had given me some clues, very mean to stand and laugh at a birdie trying her best!! TFTC!
After a CITO, a puzzle, lunch and a multi we headed over here.
Didn't take too long for the geo-kids to find this one. Log soon signed and cache returned.
One of the crew noticed a request for help from the CO on our facebook page so we abandoned any further cache plans and headed on over to move some firewood.
Thanks for the cache.

We had been out and about for a very busy family day in the school holidays and had just called in to the takeaway shop and were placing our order when the new cache notification came through - only 3km away. We were willing our order to be cooked faster, but also reasoning that if we got there and the FTF was gone we would leave it for a dot day. Dinner was finally cooked ans we headed to GZ. Thanks to the cache page it was a nice easy find, blank log sighted and filled in, cache replaced and we were only about 10 minutes later than we would have been getting home to eat our still hot takeaways. Found with purply and darthcacher1 at 9:00 pm. {FTF}
