Check this one again after another DNF, it is still there but I think I will up the degree of difficulty
Did a run today to check out a few caches in this series that hadn't been found for awhile. This cache was still there but the log was wet so I replaced itAll good to go
Even though there were a few DNFs we thought wed stop and look, you never know. Unfortunately we have to add an additional one.
Mixed feelings about this series as I had a bucket load of unfounds. But finished the day with 17 finds incl a tricky puzzle. Most but not all the coords along this route were good. Some hides were a bit more challenging. I scared a wallaby out of the bushes at one GZ

Cache found after a bit of high stepping, slightly disappointed with this one, but the rest of the caches were great. Wondering if this was a replacement as it didn't appear to be alongbthecsame calibre as the others.
Suscoe headed down Giffard Road this morning.
We enjoyed the variety in hiding methods, locations and containers, with some being easier to find than others.
A few caches that are believed to missing were replaced with the Cache Owner's permission.
Thanks to pullw for this series.

Not such an easy series as expected. A few dnf's along the way as had others before me. The ones found had spot on co-ords.
A relatively quick find compared to others.
A relatively quick find compared to others.
Gave up here, as I initially couldn’t find quickly, then got caught by muggle farmer here twice!
Ok this one was hard to find, our second attempt at this on a very windy day, well camouflaged TFTC
I don't think that there's anything I can add that Tally Tiger and Angelique Anja have not already mentioned. Thanks for a fun day out!
Quick easy find for us today had some trouble opening the cache but we got there
But those mosquitos are bad
Thanks for the cache. pullw

After the year that we had endured, we well knew that our Caching goal of 1,000 caches in one year was never going to happen... Ah well, there's always next year...
Buy we needed one good cache day before this year ended, we also wanted to get some of those souvenirs before time ran out.
Back in... Oh boy. I don't even remember when really, but most of the state was burning with those horrible fires I had put this series of caches aside, but we never got the chance to go and there it was, still sitting in my stored caches folder. So off else went!
Our first real caching day in what's it been six or seven months? Who can even remember anymore? And boy were we unprepared... I think... It's not as though we were missing any tools of the trade, but the mosquitoes were out for a feast as though they had never met juicier or more tasty humans in their little lives. We were mobbed and attacked don every angle and look a little like Zedaycee after his stint with the chicken pox.
We searched high and low along this trail and made most of our finds! We even had one case of extreme team work required!
Thanks for a fun day out!

Why did the chicken cross the road?
It had to expand its Search Radius!

Very well camo’d indeed, and not the camo I initially expected. Needed a TOTT to undo this one. TFTC!
Caching during the Covid19 Pandemic.
As the CO's of this Cache, we strongly advise that logging these caches is not in the best interest of getting a resolution to the Pandemic and respectively ask you to reconsider this action at this time. For the safety of all who geocache, I'm sure you'll agree with this.

We moved south of Bairnsdale and enjoyed our caching there. Some of these roads less travelled are so great. This was one we targetted and found. Our thanks to mcsee&petal for placing this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Found by The Empire + H
We completed this series in reverse order, finding all of the caches this afternoon. Some were easy, some... some where downright evil! We had a good time, going from cache to cache - sometimes just M out of the car, sometimes help from H was needed. Thanks for the cache, and the series mcsee&petal.

My last for the day. It's now become too dark to really see anything. I found a pine cone with a suspiciously hollow stem but no cache and nothing caught my phone light so giving up for now. Tftc
Day 6 and the last leg of my roadtrip. Bairnsdale back home.
36 caches today. I appreciated the safe parking at all the caches I stopped at today, makes a big difference!
Find #11
No trouble here.
Thanks!

This was a very interesting run of caches with a lot of variety of hides, containers and cache positioning. Maintenance has been recently done as we signed in first place on quite a few replacement logs, alongside ilook4geo. Cache was found, log was signed with both lots of initials and we were on the move again.
Thank you to mcsee&petal for this great series and for looking after the caches so well. We also enjoyed the series as it is a very quiet country road and there was safe parking at or near each cache, even with the caravan on behind.

The cache hunting is continuing while travelling along with goingplaces2. We had a good run today and found so many different kinds of containers and hiding places. Some were quite challenging to find and some were easier, but each one was a lot of fun. TFTC.
With a rare good day arriving a plan was hatched with Rebel Acts to head out towards Rosedale and complete the Giffard Road series and then loop back through Woodside towards home.
It was a great day with lots of frivolity and fun with the most common comment to each other being 'amateurs' when we found a cache. But we are not competitive!
We picked up a number of other caches outside the series and managed to get to others we hadn't planned on as our progress through the list was impressive. A total of 60 finds for the day!
Another one that took a few minutes to find, but luck was with us.

Sun was shining and a day off meant a caching trip with Ski Pair, a plan was hatched with a list of around 70 caches on it as we headed out to tackle the Giffard Road Series and a few other caches we passed along the way. We managed 2 FTF's and I found My 17,000 cache.
Thanks mcsee&petal for the cache.

Found by Mary and David at 10:30. Civilisation, with fences, houses and school bus signs. Great camo. Our thanks to mcsee&petal.
We had our eyes on this series for a while. Out caching with gwd.aussie and D@geo. Thank you mcsee&petal for this series, was a fun day out.
Out caching with gwd.aussie and Sharon14 with the main purpose of the day to complete this series. A good variety of hides with some being easy some not so.

Catching up with some very late logs
We had set aside a few days to explore Gippsland with alansee endeavoring to aid him reaching 30,000 finds before the Queanbeyan mega event at Easter.
We visited rail trails, parks, mountains seeing beautiful scenery along the way as well as enjoying some lovely walks as well as some easy drive by's. The weather was mostly kind to us enabling us to search for the caches in comfort.
We really enjoyed this Giffard road series, with good co-ords and a variety of hides we had a very pleasant couple of hours caching
Thanks mcsee&petal for placing this series.

Found with Team Crackers today. Some of them were easy, some were quite hard! All of the coords were good and in some cases helped us to find the caches. All caches were found whichis a testament to the Placers. Many thanks mcsee&petal.
Today we decided to try some surf fishing but didn't do any good, luckily we managed to find some caches and finish off this series. TFTC
Camped at Gormandale after returning from Tasmania. Out for a few caches today. Nineteenth for the day, quick find, cache and contents all good, good coordinates. Took nothing, left nothing. TFTC
Straya Day Weekend - 60 Caches - A Guy, a Gal and a Boy - Great Family Day
We decided after a two year absence of serious caching that we need to get out more and gather some finds. Today had us heading East towards Rosedale and Longford before having lunch at Sale, we then tacked the Gifford series before having dinner at Yarram at the pub and heading home.
Nary a cache evaded us, and our competitive juices flowed and we couldn't be separated at the end of the day with 18 finds each, with a few joint finds.
Thank you for all the hiders for their efforts.

In her efforts to locate the cache, Kato took a bath in pine sap. Another hide for me to whinge about. TFTC mcsee&petal
Had a lovely day out caching with Mummy Short Legs with the sole purpose of collecting trails in our local area that we hadn't yet been able to seek out. Very exciting to be hitting this trail finally!
I was using my pen here a bit as a probe trying to cotton on to the hide when I realised that I'd inadvertently covered my pen and my hand in pine sap. Just call me a walking air freshener for the rest of the day! As I was flapping and wiping and writing off my pen (no pun intended!) MSL made the find! TFTC mcsee&petal, great trail.

We are currently staying at Woodside Beach and are using caching to explore the local area. We saw your trail on the map and after reading a few of the cache notes decided that it was a must do and we were not disappointed. The variety of hide types never left us wanting, the co-ords are spot on. We found one that was not and we will include the co-ords for that cache on its page, perhaps some cache creep has happened at this one. We are not the type of cachers who move caches just because we think they are in the wrong place or that there is a better place, just over there.
Some of the cache hides had has looking high and low but all were found. After assuming where a cache may be and it not being there we used a process of elimination and actually allowing the GPS to take us to the real GZ which is where we would always find the cache. We found nano's, bison's, some tubes, some sistema's either skulking in trees, hanging in trees, glued to items, shoved in holes, guard rails, magnets have been used, oh and don't forget the posts. All we can say is that there is a large variety and at some GZ's not in the manner we are accustomed to.
Thank you for having consideration to parking safety. We encountered very little traffic and never felt uncomfortable while looking for a cache. We are not certain what this road will be like when the contractors are hauling timber, they will be on a mission we are sure. SL TFTC

Found with tassie expat while exploring this great area. Thanks for placing this series, it's a terrific way of seeing this region.
Was a bit worried that we were in full view of the farm house, so collected pine cones. Our search here was hampered by muggles, nope, gps, no again, maybe it was tiredness, no, no, no. Our search was inhibited by an echidna. It had buried it's head in the nettles (of course, we can't see it if it can't see us) near where our gps units said gz was. Oh, no. I hoped that it wasn't sitting on it! Walked out a bit and rechecked our distances to gz. Yep, right at Spiky. Drat, damn, bother. Went to pick up another pine cone and there it was! It's all to do with ones point of view. We were safe from Spiky and it was safe from us. Actually, we would have dnfed it. TFTC and the hunt.
Spending the long weekend in Seaspray with my sons Cachemstr & Craycraymstr, today was miserable on the beach so decided to go out geocaching instead. Thank you mcsee&petal for this series, was a fun day out.
What do you do on Father's Day? Cache of course. We've been looking at this series for a while, and decided to make a start on it despite the intermittent showers. An excellent series for a beginner cacher to learn to search for different caches.
A lot of fun mcsee&petal

Yeehaa, appointments all done and dusted and today we are free to cache. We had our eyes on this series which is why we decided an overnight vjsit was in order. Love quiet farm roads and the interesting variety of caches. The coordinates were brilliant on all caches and on one in particular it is the only reason we persisted despite scratching our heads for sometime ( not saying which one as it would be a give away). Fi ally geoG got to call the 'got it' Tftc
Once again the coordinates were spot on making this needle in a haystack cache a quick find. Thanks so much for another quality cache.
We really enjoyed the great variety of hides today, some were very challenging. The roads were quiet, the country scenery peaceful and the winter weather was perfect. Thanks for this drive by series mcsee&petal.

Giffard Road - A classic Gippsland Country Road series!
A variety of innovative hides, including clever cammo painting, safe parking and all amid fascinating scenery. Definitely not a power trail a series to be enjoyed at leisure.
Thanks 'mcsee&petal' for creating this interesting series.

Visiting Longford for a couple of days grabbed a few caches while in the area
this being one of them. Thanks mcsee&petal FTC. Not what I was looking for.

Nice chat across the fence with the sheep, haha. Thankfully a quick find here, not a fan of pine tree’s and their horrible sap! SL TFTC
At this time the COs were stalking (in the nicest possible way) us and giving us gentle hints. At this cache we were told I was closer . I stopped and looked at what was around me. Not much you could hide a cache in , I thought. Then I saw it less than a metre in front of me! It might have taken a lot longer to find without their help, and as we wanted to get 50 for the afternoon their help was much appreciated.
As the sun decends, the Freezy Breezes (tm) come out to play ... brrrrrrrrr

My caching partner Bigrobv and I wanted to do this series of caches as soon as they were published but we needed to line up a day that we were both free. Today was that day and luckily it was beautiful and sunny. We decided it best to tackle the trail with our bikes and were anticipating a decent ride. The sun was out, good company was present and we were enjoying ourselves. Stopping for this cache we had a look in the obvious places and I managed to look straight over it, thankfully Bigrobv spied it and we were able to sign the log. Thanks for placing this series, we were having a blast!
TeamBigNoonaBV were out on the bikes hunting for the elusive caches in Thier natural habitat, the sun was shining warming us up, NoonaB must have had the sun in her eyes slightly with this one, I spied it and it was one of those situations of "but I just looked there..I swear.." logs signed, cache replaced, helmets on.. let's roll.. there are still lots of caches to find..
After doing the Gifford Rd series #21 to #30 and the final, I had enough time to complete the rest of series #20 to #1.

Thankfully I got the right angle of the dangle to wrangle this cache.

Was up early this morning and noticed a heap of new caches had been placed, I thought I would give them a go in the hope of finding some before I had to go to work.
Was starting to run out of time so finished up moving on in the hope of finding some more before my time was up
Thanks mcsee&petal for another series, I'll have to come back and finish the rest another time
