My buddies: Me, Myself and I On a work trip for a new project. This town will see me more often. Thank you 2y'stassies, for creating, placing and maintaining this cache. I have enjoyed finding it and visiting this spot.Follow my story on Instagram @AlphaDeltaIndigo
Hi 2y'stassies. Today we found your cache on the Devo trip for the year. VK7HCH and I hatched yet another plan to whip it up to the north to continue our plundering of caches both GC and GCA. As there are so many caches in this area we had freedom of choice to do those we wished to. We have solved a few puzzles so we can find those and lots of others. Although I didnt find the girl U want, the caches were enough. Its a beautiful world here in Tassie. Thanks for hiding the cache for us to find today. Finding this cache takes my GC finds to 5185 and I found it on Friday 25 Oct 2024FTF: NoMates: VK7HCHMuggles: Condition: GoodWeather: slightly cloudyMy favorites:Creative - Back to the future 1 by peaches (GCA5JYD)Hardest - Men in Black Holes by SG-3 (Archived)Most visited - Dragons Lair by Shagzter (GC2E33)Tractable also visited your cache
Thanks 2y'stassies for placing Waiting For The Ferry: Marconi. Swampy and I headed back to plunder more of the Northern coast over the Hobart Show long weekend. 4 day long weekend for 1 days annual leave. Sweet. This is day 2. Devonport and surrounds. At least my log is not full of bad 80s references. This run has us finding both GC and GCA caches. So many caches, so little time. This is my GC find #2123 and was found on 25/10/2024 at 06:47FTF: Found with: SwampyWeather: fairMuggles: noneLight level: goodCache condition: goodDistance from GZ: Your cache was visited by my trackables: TB9QQD2, TB9KZ39 and TB7HH81
Find# 12085Nice quick find.We are on a two-week driving g tour of Tassie. We're based in the Sutherland Shire in Sydney NSW.TFTC 2y'stassies
We almost stumbled on this one as a certain object at our indicated GZ point came in for an inordinate amount of poking about, mauling and general scrutiny. Once we put on our cache hunting caps and widenend our net the find was soon spotted. Log roll damp but still signable. Regrettably no replacements of this size in our kit.
After giving up on some others here, we were glad for the quick find on this one. A beautiful winter's day for a stroll by the seaTFTC
Good startThanks For The Cache INFORMATIONSearch (EST)/SL Time: 2M/14:54TODAY FINDS/DNF:1/0Finder Note: LOGBOOK slight waterlogged
Heading back home to Victoria tonight, had a great 2 weeks visiting Tasmania, nice quick finds before boarding the Ferry. TFTC
During our two-month trip through New Zealand and Australia, our visit to Cradle Mountain and Tasmania has already come to an end. Tonight, we sail back to the mainland with the night boat.We arrived early in Devonport and before the boat leaves there is still time for some cache in the area. This cache was found during that tour.**2y'stassies**, thanks for the cache.
We are currently on a eight week holiday which is mostly spent in New Zealand and Australia. However, the first three days were spent in Singapore as a nice break from an otherwise long flight. We had about three weeks in New Zealand which went by too quickly. The remaining five weeks are spent in Australia. The last days were spent in Cradle Mountain which we absolutely loved. Today we drove to Devonport and tonight the Spirit of Tasmania will ferry us back to the mainland. It is lovely weather and we arrived rather early. So plenty of time for a nice walk along the coast. Apperently we had some starting problems because we weren't able to find the first three caches of this seres we visited. Luckily we then picked ourselves up and the rest of the caches we visited of this series were all found. Thanks to this series we had a excellent walk and a very enjoyable time while waiting for the ferry. Thank you very much for this series.
Found with tassie expat while exploring this interesting area. Short search and Tassie had to delve into her childhood memories, but found in good condition and accurate coords. Thanks
After quite a few laps of the tree, it was found. I lost my pen at the last cache, so pleased I had a pencil on me for back up. Tftc
Took a bit but found it. You kinder have to stand at the right angle to see it . But over all nice place and even better in the sunset.
The 9th and last day of our Tasmanian Adventure, we arrived back in Devonport to be ready to board the SOT early tomorrow morning. With the afternoon to fill in we opted for some more of these Waiting for the Ferry caches. SL at 1.20pm and we knew exactly which tree to look in! #10,683 a bit breezy today, but managed to capture a bad banksia man! TFTC 2ystassies
After our showers tonight we finally ticked this one off (100m away from the shower). I had no idea who the hint people? were but made a nice quick find. Unfortunately however the log book flew out of the container as I opened it. Luckily I had a spare log book in the car so replaced the log book. Apologies I hunted around but couldnt find the original.TFTC

Not sure if this is a coincidence, but I ditched the muggle who was with me looking for the last couple of caches, and BINGO, my first cache find in Tassie.

We continued today our tour in Tasmania, AUS, and thereby searched, found and logged this interesting Traditional-Cache.
The weather was - said in one word – simply best. The good hidden caches and the being on holidays kept us the whole day in a good mood.
The cache had good coordinates, and thus was easy to find. The logbook was okay, and allowed easy logging.
Thanks to 2y'stassies for the generation of this nice cache Waiting For The Ferry: Marconi (with the proper agenda), for leading us here and for showing us this funny location as well as the ongoing maintenance of this cache.
PS: Please forgive us the uniform log which is needed due to timing problems - if necessary special actions and happenings are there described where they appeared.
Greetings from Germany together with the hope to meet somewhere like event or wood.

Still plenty of room on back to put out stamp. Caching with The X-Trailers. Nice out walking this arvo. TFTC
Arrived on the SOT and staying at the nearby caravan park. This is our first Tassie cache. TFTC
We arrived this evening from Geelong & after the little kids went to bed, a quick walk was on the cards. This nearby cache was a reasonably quick find by the torch on 12Fieldtrip's phon & was our first Tassie cache. Signed R1BG. TFTC!
We are starting to change our caches to Premium Only because we have become increasingly frustrated with some finders who
* have logged a find without signing the logbook
* not taken care by replacing the camo after finding a cache
* shifting the location of a cache to "an easier find"
These unthinking actions have resulted in a significant increase in maintenance, time we could better use for caching.
We had deliberately made our caches available to all who want to cache but as some are not showing respect, we are reluctantly changing many to Premium Only. We apologise to those responsible cachers who are not Premium Members but we have reached the tipping point.

Found today while waiting for the ferry . Just need to get the angle of sight right to find it! TFTC
Looked for this one on arrival in Tassie 3 months ago. No luck. About to leave. Amazing what a bit of experience can do. Nearly gave up as it was getting dark, and then suddenly, there was the cache, staring at me.

In town again, staying with family with gave us and opportunity for picking up some more of the hides, which we haven't got previously.
It was a beautiful day so we were making the most of it. We had a lovely day taking in some beach and river views and finding some great hide.
Out for an evening walk grabbing a few along this area. It was an easy enough hide once near GZ.
Thanks 2y'stassies for placing the cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy the find.

Mason and PT have found this tricky little one. Thankyou to the person who has placed this
Well getting this cache proved difficult, but that would be our fault...
Who would look for this cache on NYE at 8.45pm, when fireworks will be going off tonight... yup us!!
Spotted quickly, retrieval and replacing was a little bit of a waiting game.

Down in Tassie for a break before Christmas and continuing our travels around the country, wow the countryside is absolutely glorious. Happy to say we came up trumps here and walked away with a smiley TFTC
