Quite a thrill to find this well camouflaged cache. I didn't realise that some elderly muggles walking their dog observed me hunting for the cache. When I left, they went over to GZ, but they couldn't see or understand what I was up to, so I'm happy the cache is still well hidden.TFTC otter creek29
I've stopped at this one twice twice without luck and noticed d that it had a recent DNF. I was not overly confident but spotted it straight away. Great camo. Worth a fave point for that, and for having me stumped in the past. TFTC
Coords were a smidge off for me today, but the spot made sense. What a well disguised cache! Happily it didn't take too long to locate. We spotted one of these troughs out near henty yesterday too!!. Very interesting. Tftc
No luck for me here today guess I just didn't put my hand in the right location.I will return one day I hope.
Muggle sister found this one, great cache need to bring tweezers to get log out tftc
TYFTC found with FeliciaDaina and Tritium3cal. VERY well camouflaged and very well hidden making it super difficult to find.
Attempted to refind with FeliciaDaina, was unable to find. I feel like it may have been muggled.
No luck for us today.Just goes to show how much we must rely on past logs and newbie photos
Well these horses went back to the trough and didn't take a drink (no water) and DNF the replaced cache. We exhausted all possibilities, but its probably in plain sight. Complicated by getting 3m under the big tree, 16m at the trough and 7m at one of the concrete seats. Thanks for replacing the cache so promptly OtterCreek29, but we are beaten on this one !
It might be the red wine or the dark or that we were tired but no luck for us either. We will have one more crack tomorrow.
The cache container has apparently gone AWOL again. I need to re-think the container as this is the 3rd nano to have disappeared. I think it's time to change the placement and type of container. Watch this space; I hope to enable this cache soon!
It was fitzy_1965's birthday this weekend, so we decided to head out west for a bit of caching.Great weather and great company lead to a great couple of days caching. We got a bit distracted by the hint on this one but eventually had sneaky cache in hand. All caches were found quickly and easily unless otherwise mentioned.
33,678. Found with minniek during a lovely country run this weekend celebrating another trip around the sun for me.After being away a month it was great to get out and do a country caching run with minniek again. We chose the Binalong / Harden / Wallendbeen / Cootamundra / Young / Boorowa circle to do. Our aim was also to enjoy a nice Pub dinner in Wallendbeen and to camp in Cootamundra after hopefully gaining revenge on a previous DNF down that way (which we did). This was the next find of the day. Took a few minutes to find this one. Stamped the log, replaced the cache as found, then continued on our journey to the next cache on our list. Thanks OtterCreek29 !!
Catching up on some old logs that have been sitting in the drafts for awhile. I remember this cache quite well as a struggled around abit for it. The hint threw me off for 6. But eventually i worked out what it ment, Thanks for the cache, all looks to be in good condition with this one.
A quick find on a caching trip with Goldenwattle, Decrypter and Trodectus. No horses today. TFTC OtterCreek29
Found with Goldenwattle, Decrypter and Binliner while on a caching tour of Cootamundra. We parked nearby and walked to GZ and soon had CIH. Log signed and all replaced and we continued on to the next one. TFTC.
I have removed the container as part of it was missing. Waiting on a new container and will replace it soon.
Found the container without lid or logsheet. Added a logsheet which fits tightly and shouldn't fall out. TFTC OtterCreek29
We found what we think was the top of the container but it looks like the rest is missing.
Not sure if this is correct, maybe a muggle has got to it?

Reasonably quick find of the cache here!

Stuck in Cootamundra for a couple of days getting the car fixed, I decided to hoof it to some caches, as it was a coolish day. This one was the first for the day. The GPS had me at a tree, but I used my initiative and the hint and found the cache after a short search. Great spot for a cache.
Found by Aussie Train Driver 30/11/22, find number 1637.
Always nice to turn a DNF into a smiley! I recall this one eluded me despite an extensive search last time. Fortunately I made a quick find today, which made victory all the sweeter. The nearby seat provided a shady location on such a warm day to sign the log. Thanks for the cache!

Another day another adventure. Will share across our socials later @ArtOfLivingWithTrina #TheHolisticLifestylemovement
Heading home from a weekend of bird banding at Grenfell so decided to take the longer route along the Olympic Highway to collect a few caches.
After a terrible coffee in Cootamundra time for one more on my way home. I pondered a bit here and then lucked out on the first spot I put my hand - not many options but glad to get done quickly.

Tftc found another trough near Dubbo created by the same family, very intresting. Paul and Lou
Over our years of caching we have discovered quite a few of the Bills water troughs. Most of them are no longer in working condition, but have stood the test of time and stayed intact as icons of a former age. SL at 11.40am #8821 TFTC OtterCreek29
We fortunately found the little devil after a short search.
It was time to move on from Wagga, so we said goodbye to good friends and set off on our way to Cootamundra via Bethungra. Its still bitterly cold, but thankfully today there were only a few showers and we managed to dodge most of them.
It was mainly traditionals today although we managed an interesting Virtual and a couple of multis.
All in all a casual day traveling with plenty of stops..
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache OtterCreek29.

Bathurst to Wagga on our way to the Mega at Wangaratta.
We had an overnight spot at Cootamundarra at the showgrounds. We have met up with the Snakepiters to continue our journey onto the Mega with.
We followed a caching trail around town which was a good way to explore this area. Certainlt a lot of history on Donald Bradman & Australian Cricket here.
This cache took a little while before we spotted it, Good hint helped.

Returning from our "unplanned alternative to the QLD mega" holiday in the New England area, we spent last night in Cowra, staying at the showgrounds again as we did on the way up, and today we were heading towards Wagga Wagga.
A quick find while doing Adventure Labs in the area. Always like seeing these horse troughs around. TFTC OtterCreek29.

Nobody sane around in this heat, a few minutes and it was right there in front of my face.
I had more time to search for this one today and after checking a few spots, found the cache.

I decided to spend the day on a day trip West of Yass to Young, Cootamundra and Gundagai. It was a nice day that was not as hot as some recently. I was happy to find all the caches I went looking for,and only skipped one long hill climb. It was a great day.
Thanks.

A day trip to Cootamundra, to pick up some local caches.
The weather was quiet warm, so left a couple of high terrain ones for another day.
All caches found, were in good condition. Thanks to all the CO's - we had a good day out.
Cache found after a short search, signed and replaced as found.
Great location, with some added history. A favourite point given.
Many thanks for placing this cache, OtterCreek29, for us and others to find.

Tried yesterday and today. The coords lead you to a tree. So if it’s there it can’t be magnetic. If it’s not, coords are out. Looked in the obvious place by the hint and nothing both days.
Was looking in totally the wrong spot and was about to leave when I found it. Tftc!
