scramping & I are heading towards home from the Capital Geobash in Canberra. This was a quick stop to stetch our legs and use the amenities. There were not too many people in the stop. I did say hi to some people with a friendly dog. I was missing my puppy.TFTC Groot 1983
Found with hevwalker after a quick stretch and toilet stop on the way to Wolonga heading towards home in SA. TFTC

Reperio 11:57The family and I were headed down to Melbourne today for a couple of days, and had a little bit of time spare to stop by a few caches along the way. We arrived here to find a few people parked, but fortunately the cache was well placed away from view. TFTC. Very hot day needed a rest from the b double . Added a few stickers for the next to find.
For the last twenty odd years we have travelled this road to Sydney at least six or seven times a year, have seen this wayside stop but never called in but this time we did and signed the log at the tree base after visiting the amentities..Thanks Groot_1983 for placing.
TFTC! Day 2 of our journey driving from Brisbane to Melbourne. We are halfway through our journey, starting at Kiama this morning and now here taking a break and stretching a bit. While geo-parents are using the bathroom, I randomly open the geocache app and realized theres a cache here!!!! What a nice coincidence and how can I say no on getting another smiley face? Thanks for the placement CO, the cache is all good:) Now heres another 2hours drive before another break!
More work in Sydney, and another drive back to Melbourne. So many times I've been past here and this is the first time I've stopped..
Heading home after a week in the Blue mountains. A quick coffee break for Tag along and I headed off to find this one.

Found on the way to the Rutherglen mega. Left Canberra at quarter to 8 and found this on the way to break up the four hour drive. Quick find at GZ after following the cacher trail. Great excuse for a stop, TFTC Dragon 1982!
OCW Irondale on the way to the Rutherglen Mega event today. We focused on caches in Blaney, Carcoar and Gundagai (where we also stayed the night). All around a great day with some solved puzzles in the map that got found and we ended up picking up 60 cents worth of return and earn cans, found a fifty cent coin, a really decent reusable drink bottle, a ring, and some fresh figs from a tree near Coolac.
So this one was Irondale driving and I jumped out of the car to quickly search as we werent properly parked. I found a big red fire extinguisher. It was NOT the cache. The cache was found safely in the privacy of the tree cover. A quick sign and run back to the car and we were on our way again. TFTC

Found this one on our way to the mega in Rutherglen. We’re enjoying the beautiful countryside. Thanks for this cache at a rest stop.

Homebound now, after spending the night in Sydney, we started our morning with a walk around the city, grabbing a couple of caches. From there, we left the city targeting a few high FP caches along the way, as well as a few randoms at places we stopped.
Our final pitstop here before the final stretch home. Dark now and getting tired.
A quick park and grab here. TFTC!

Found after following the geotrail! Ant around cache, but easy to find. BYO Pen / writing implement, which left at the car. A nice walk back and forward, but we have a smiley face for NSW after our ACT one earlier, no onto Vic. TFTC and the recent maintenance- all good here
Thanks for placing this one here. Cache was exposed so I placed some stuff on top. Stands out but lease you can not see the container form 10 feet out now. May be a Bison cache here attached to the hint in stead. Less likely to go missing in the future? Just a thought. Thanks Gekko33
On my way home from staying with my sister Ottercreek29 in Cootamundra and decided to come via coolac and jugiong to grab a cache or 2 ..... this was #2 tftc Dragon 1982
A great rest stop off the highway and the chance for another cache.

Thanks Dragon 1982 for another chance to break our journey on the way home from our Yass adventure.
feathertop was very pleased to stop here. She’s such a real solid brick for taking me on this trip!
One can only wonder, but never know, how many accidents you may have prevented by giving people the chance to have a break before continuing their journey.

#1134 One last stop off on our late evening trip to Gundagai for our weekend stay. We pulled up with the caravan in tow with the night sky now upon us. We headed in towards GZ and before we even begun to search the cache had been spotted. A very lucky quick find on approach given it was dark upon arrival. Thanks Dragon for the hide
#3002 On our way to Gundagai for the long weekend this was our last diversion before finishing the trip. A quick find considering we were in the dark. Cheers Dragon 1982.
Needed a stretch after a couple of cold hours on the motorcycle
Easy find as it was out in the open
Log and container are wet
Hod a bit less conspicuous

Our final cache on the journey. A quick pull over in the wayside stop for a quick find. Log signable.
Only a short journey today from Young to Tumut where we will catch up with family before returning home. A beautiful run through rolling hills with green paddocks interspersed with bright yellow fields of canola. Little or no traffic until we hit the short stretch of the Hume Highway and we managed to dodge the rain.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Dragon 1982.

Stop to stretch the legs, why not grab a cache too! Easy walk, sign and back on our trip to Melbourne. TFTC
Haydos101 was in need of a pitstop, so this was a lovely spot. Oh LOOK!, there is a cache her too. So while he was doing his business, we were doing ours. Quick find once narrowed down GZ. TFTC. Quick P&G.
Glad to see there was a cache at this test stop. Stretched the legs and added another smiley face to my map. TFTC
A quick find while using the rest stop as a lunch break as we travel homeward TFTC
After a relaxing holiday at Bermagui, we are driving back home to Wodonga. We stopped here and noticed a cache 170m away.

Heading down the highway with Sui_001 and decided to pick up a couple of rest area caches that I have skipped in the past as I am usually utilising my time for caches further from home! Today we were just heading for Wagga Wagga though, so a great time to pick them up.

#5917.
I got off from work a little earlier today and we decided to take a country drive on a sweltering hot day. We were really thankful for the invention of the air conditioning system today. We really enjoyed the scenery which is still pretty green thanks to the rainy summer we are experiencing. The cache was quickly spotted. Thanks for placing one out here for us to find.

Ticking off some smileys to break up the trip en-route to the Wangaratta Mega. Quick find at the exit to a simple rest stop detour.

This was the fifteenth find of 20 finds for the day. After finding “Betelgeuse”, Mizmaz and I aimed to find some more quick park and grab caches along the M31. Although we did not actually rest so much at this rest area, I am really glad that caches like this exist. It allows travellers a chance to stop and appreciate their travels, whilst contributing to our shared hobby. A quick and easy find. SLTNLN. TFTC.
