Cycleway really busy today, so it was nice to have an area away from the madding crowd to search... Well the ants weren't where we were expecting to find them, but find them we did. Cache is all good. Earns a fave from us. TFTC
Nice to get out after work and do this trail on our bikes.
Loved the cache and camo. It turns out the ants do too. Cache was covered in them and their eggs.

A nice quick find thanks. The track is starting to get a bit wet!
Ms_KR and I are off on a wee tour of the North Island. The weather was mostly dry today, a bonus. We cruised around Tauranga and headed north to Wihi Beach.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Yes, liked this one. Found with Kauriforest while biking the circuit. TFTC and have a favourite.
Had to backtrack 20m for this one as I had avoided the wet patch. Cool camo, almost tricked me
Been many years since I did the original on your bike series so it was nice to come back and find another one.
This made me laugh even with The ant Colony that poured out of the cache.
Definitely a fav point for originality.

My son and I had a rare opportunity to spend the day together without his annoying sisters (his words haha) and with such awsome spring weather we decided to hit the bike track grab some caches
Managed to spot this one from quite far away, but had to wait for them pesky muggles to pass

Apologies I got mixed up with another cache we found further up.
This cache is awsome!! Exercises your powers of observation!!

What a clever and tricky hide, very nicely done and our favourite in this series.
We were initially quite puzzled about where it could be but then saw something that wasn't quite right and, sure enough, closer inspection revealed it to be the cache.
Awesome, a definite favourite point. Thanks tryfyn.

Submitted via Garmin Live Geocaching. A very clever hide. Gota to be one of the best.
Visiting Tauranga for the weekend and staying at an Airbnb which provided bikes. Headed out early to tackle this series. Not too many people about so reasonably undisturbed caching. Lovely hide here that deserves a favourite. TFTC
Found this one by sheer observation... really clever hide! Thanks for the cache and the excellent coordinates
Oooooo this was a good one, nominatedMr to retrieve, thankfully our recent caching experience helped us get this quickly.
Enjoying the variety of caches while out killing time walking on such a beautiful day. TFTC

On a mission to clean up a few of these trail caches, I headed out for an early morning walk. Nice walk/cycleway with plenty of users even in the early morning. Cache was an easy find, log soon signed and then it was on to clean up that pesky blue face further up the track. TFTC

We love the gaps being filled - as this area is a most enjoyable bike ride from where we live... luckily there weren't too many places this could have been hidden .
A nice evening to clock up some trail kilometres on my new bike.
Stopped here for 20 seconds while I locate and sign the cache.
Thanks for bringing me here

After the awesome electrical storm we had on Friday night the sun rose to a beautiful calm clear morning and the chance to hunt for some caches.
Another well thought out cache.
Cheers for the placement to "fill in the gap" it is much appreciated.
The cache is in good condition.

Find number 4572. On a walk round this trail to fill in time before heading back over the Kamais. Thankfully this was a quick find. Thank you for the placement.
SB20 and I took to our bikes and had a great afternoon biking along this cycle way. TFTC
On this lovely sunny weekend Kathykaches and I decided to shake the dust off our old bikes and give one of these cycle trails a bit of a go. We had a great time cycling through here and stopping every few hundred metres to hunt for a cache. We signed most logs as KK + SB20. Lots of great caches on this trail and well crafted hints and hides. There were a couple that we missed so we will definitely be back to finish it off properly! Thank you for the caches!
Out on the bike still. Enjoying all these on this run. Some very well cammoed indeed, took my time biking along

Had the day to myself, so the plan was to head over to Tauranga to clean up the "non-park and grab" caches, and then head up the coast and grab what I could. Without the usual tag alongs today, the pace was much more laid back, plus there was no silly O'clock wake up too.
A great was to start the tally with a nice little walk. Parked near No. 8A, and I was surprised with the new bridge nearby. I had previously used the nearby pipes a few times caching in this area but today the pipes were underwater, so glad the bridge was there. Got lucky with this one when I got to GZ as I quickly spotted some thing of interest as I neared GZ. Bingo, cache in hand. Well done on the hide.

This was my second attempt at this cache - my first attempt lead me to the end of Marshall Ave where I started down hill and came across a bunch of paddocks that were under water. My shoes were water proof but the further I went the deeper it got and I had to abort. It seems the weather has only gotten worse since though and the area isn't any dryer. But this time I came in from the toll gate so I was all good until I made it to gz which was still pretty bogy.
Clever camo that I appreicated but didn't have me fooled. Cheers tryfyn, TFTC

One of seven caches located whilst cycling this walkway this afternoon. Didn’t take long to figure it out! Nifty hide. #1853. TFTC.
The walk way is so muddy today, but my white shoes stayed white . Wasn't planning on going for a walk today so didn't have anything apart from a pen and my phone with me, which is enough until dark and while walking back it started raining... gotta love caching in the rain.4
This was a really quick find as there is not too many placed it could be hiding around here. TFTC

At last some sun - time for a walk and looking at logs decided shortest not the best option so decided for a km there and km back. Lovely walk and arrived at GZ to find a sneaky hide Watch the kids around here. TFTC
Ah yes another well placed Tryfn cache ....the great co ords lead me straight there ...that new android device is working a treat ...had the bikes already to go and she who shall be obeyed said we’ll walk ...that was fun and great to out in the fresh air, dodging the flying missile thanks Tryfn for the well placed cache and nice tidy camo that can bight lol
Small tip to future finders: if you access this cache from Alach street make sure you are a skilled high wire trapeze artist and have immunity to gorse- or you can leap large drains!!! Of course no one would be stupid enough to even consider this approach aye? After removing the gorse after my wire shimmy and draining the shoes of excess water we approached gz. Macwatt spotted the very well camoed cache before I had even recovered!! Now to get back. Easy - a stroll through a very busy Saturday mornings golfing - only flying golf balls and self righteous golfers to contend with. Thanks Tryfyn for squeezing another cache into this series.
Out with a couple of the kids and squirrel nutcase doing a few caches on this fine afternoon. Nice quick find here today .

With Davidson clan... ANZAC Day, and not really planned or prepared for a big caching assault. We just thought we'd go with the flow and pick off any caches that we needed...
This hide was highly unexpected, and the FTF crew gave us some insight about it through the afternoon. The hide was not disappointing and fitted into its environment quite well. TFTC.

Yay {FTF} joint, was out doing some cache maintenance, mmm you never know what dodgy character you run into. Great to catch up FapnGap, good luck in keeping your shoes dry on your way back to the car. LOL. Thank Tryfyn for an interesting hide, cheers. (Ive run out of FPs at present otherwise id probably award one here) Ive also just realised the lady walking her dog must have been shilomoss, she caught us nearby with a can of flyspray, we said we were trying to get rid of paperwasps, LOL
