Have archived this cache as it has got hard to access from unfriendly undergrowth. Cheers
The ladies from rattll and watcache decided a girly weekend in the Hawkes Bay was in order, so left the boys a list of chores, packed their bags and headed off for a weekend of frivolity and mischief.
We were surprised to find the Hawkes Bay was remarkably quiet, especially considering it was the last few days of the school holidays. However, the exception was the night club that was next door to our room at the backpackers, that provided us with a free live band that played predominantly loud reggae music until the wee hours of the morning. Too old to 'bop' the night away? Apparently not! Mrs watcache however can sleep through anything!!!
We did wonder how easy this one was going to be to find, but we had noted the up dated co ords in the logs, so was pleased to have no issue's making the find here.
Thanks for putting this here for us to find

I have to admit when planning to trip Napier with Rattll I had doubts in my mind that we would gets lots of DNF but to my surprise we only had 3 over the two days out of approximately 60 odd caches found.
This one was no problem to find thank you for placing a cache here for us to discover another area we never knew existed.
TFTC great trail on a lovely fine day

While I dont doubt it's there, I'm not as monkey as I used to be, and with a lot of bugs and wasps flying around I wasnt game to look too much. I will be back and hopefully more confident!
I thought I had updated these coordinates, obvious I hadn't.
New coordinates
S 39 34.718
E176 48.617

I scrambled down and started searching. With no luck I read the logs and realised the cache had been moved but the coordinates had not been updated. When new coordinates used the find was straight forward. Thanks for the cache Cee Vee
Plenty of these to chose from it would help to have to correct co ords instead of reading old logs to find the co ords
...thanks for the cache

One of 12 caches located today on day 4 of our motorhome summer holiday to Hawkes Bay. Picked up 11 on a bike ride along this trail today. Using the coordinates as posted in an earlier log (on 20/09/20), we found this without much trouble. However at that point my iPhone indicated that “official GZ” was more than 30m away! #3653. TFTC.
Well this one had us troubled for quite some time but then we read some of the other logs and realised there we alternate coordinates. Once we used these from the logs we soon had the cache
I decided to get the bike out and do one of the trails in the Hawkes Bay today. The Fernhill Iway won the draw. So after swapping towballs on the cachemobile and then removing the bike from the snail shell and putting it on the back of the ute I was away. Parked in the suggested place and got ready.
This one has new coords of S 39 34.718 E 176 48.617. The CO should update the cache page.
Cheers for the cache.

I was thinking I may need to climb the tree for this one! Not quite sure where to look, 32m is some distance to look in a circle! Updated coordinates would have been helpful! TFTC!
After a DNF, I went to search for cache. Found cache in it's hiding place, but after looking at the surrounding trees, the area didn't look too safe, so I've decided to find another home for cache close by. Will replace ASAP. Cheers
Took a while to spot the cache container under some leaves on the ground. Might have fallen out of his hiding place when a few branches snapped off. Have put it back where I think it belongs. TFTC
Have been planning these caches for a few weeks in conjunction with HKCB for a mad dash and effectively a 24 hour run (so that we could spend time with our respective families) for the rest of the ensuing weekend. Signed most/all caches as HKCD or some such other that we could fit in
Leaving Hamilton at 7pm Friday and getting home midnight on Saturday so that at least 6hours quality sleep was acheived, sleeping in the car is always a bonus (2 hours) and the remainder of the time caching around part of the country we hadn't previousley done a whole lot, but have left plenty for the next trip across the hill.
This was the seventy third of the100+ that we acheived in that time we were over here.
Thanks to all the CO's for the effort and giving some great caches, sorry about the repetitive logs but then 100 is a few to cover off.
Another pleasent bike ride to enjoy what there was to find along the way, these stop banks are great for caching
Thanks for the placement, thanks for the cache

We had been talking about cache bash in Napier for a while, and when Cats&Dragons mentioned a trip down here this weekend I couldn't say no. The plan was to head down Friday night (leaving Hamilton about 7pm) and then cache til we can then grab a few hours sleep and then cache through til late afternoon and then head home. The plan worked well, with about 110 caches found over the 24 hour caching period.
It was the first time we had visited Napier to do a caching mission, and we were both impressed with the genius hides (some we hadn't seen before, I'll give a special mention to those ones). A big thanks to all the CO's whose caches we found, for placing and maintaining them. A great trip and looking forward to a revisit.

We couldn't really get the co ords to settle here. Had a good look around but no luck finding the cache. Bit of a jungle to navigate around also which didn't help and fading light.
Enjoying these caches while away with tmann421 in the Hawkes Bay
Nice quick find

It took us a wee while to find this cache, which eventually we spotted lying on the ground. We replaced it, more securely we hope, in the nearest title object. TFTC
This was the fourth day of my twelve day trip to go to the Wellington Mega. Today I zipped down to Havelock North to do a few power trails to get my numbers up.
I found this in the third place I looked. TFTC.

Visiting Hawkes Bay for the weekend as Mrs Rubbishparty is playing a Beethoven concert today. Managed to get geocaching in as well. Enjoyed this series as it combined two of my favourite activities. Geocaching and Biking. Unfortunately lost my pen about half way along so posted some photos of logs. Lots of trees to pick from but fortunately GPS was spot on. TFTC
We left around 5.30am this morning to try and finish the hidden creatures over here, the weather couldn't be more in our favor with no cloud in the sky. thanks to everyone who took the time to place and maintain these caches we got to see much of the bay and many great hides before heading for home around 4.30pm
Found this one on the way back.
Could have been anywhere, glad the camo cap was visible so didn't take too long.
Left some smaller swaps.
Once more: thanks!
Enjoyed the time here today finding some caches
