This one was hanging out again trying to escape the confines it finds itself in. I've put a couple of obstacles in its path, as we all know Geocache must be found but never seen.
Had a message from CO that cache had been replaced, headed out while in the area for an instant find, as we had worked out pretty much exactly where it shouldve been the other day. Cheers
Spent nearly half an hour on both directions of a bike ride, couldn't find it anywhere
Spent anywhere between 45m-1hr looking here, very tricky without a hint. Couldve been anywhere in the area or under the long spring grass. Will have to come back at some point. Cheers
A nice quick find. But not as hint suggested. Could be due to replacement after cyclone. Tftc
It wasn't as hint said but that could have been due to replacement after Cyclone Gabrielle. Quick find anyway, back on the bikes again. Tftc
Visiting from Tauranga to bike some of the wonderful trails - and find some of the wonderful caches! Cache is all good - but we were surprised to find it's not magnetic. TFTC
So sad to see all the orchards with rotting apples and produce just laying on the ground having been unpicked, yet I paid almost five dollars a KG for a few apples earlier today from the supermarket... oh right the cache, yup nice one, a quick find here, cheers
The ladies from rattll and watcache decided a girly weekend in the Hawkes Bay was in order, so left the boys a list of chores, packed their bags and headed off for a weekend of frivolity and mischief.
We were surprised to find the Hawkes Bay was remarkably quiet, especially considering it was the last few days of the school holidays. However, the exception was the night club that was next door to our room at the backpackers, that provided us with a free live band that played predominantly loud reggae music until the wee hours of the morning. Too old to 'bop' the night away? Apparently not! Mrs watcache however can sleep through anything!!!
A bit of a gap between caches here so we upped the pace a little and even managed a bit of a jog until some muggles were spotted heading our way from the opposite direction and we stopped jogging to maintain our dignity!!!
They were long past by the time we arrived at GZ and the cache was quickly located.
Thanks for another cache on this lovely walk

I have to admit when planning to trip Napier with Rattll I had doubts in my mind that we would gets lots of DNF but to my surprise we only had 3 over the two days out of approximately 60 odd caches found.
This one was no problem to find thank you for placing a cache here for us to discover another area we never knew existed.
TFTC found on a walkabout along a pieceful river bank. a nice quick find

Stayed a night in Hasting, an early morning start for a ride along this cycle/walk track . Easy find. Thanks Cee Vee for the cache.
As a previous finder mentioned, the cache had been pushed too far into the pipe making it difficult to retrieve. A bit of Kiwi ingenuity and a very long stick and cache was extracted. Replaced so problem will not recur. Thanks for the placement Cee Vee
Locating the xache was not so difficult retrieving it was a problem as some .......!!!had Pushed back too far. So some alternative enterprise was requiredfinding the correct tool took a few minutes...but then "walla" there it wassigned and returned so others can retrieve thanks CeeVee.
Found cache, but unable to extract. Log unsigned but counting it due to visual.
One of 12 caches located today on day 4 of our motorhome summer holiday to Hawkes Bay. Picked up 11 on a bike ride along this trail today. This one was jammed into in its hiding place with no way of extracting it. I took a photo as evidence that we’d actually found it. #3652. TFTC.
Somehow this got tucked away in my drafts. !!! Found while with a group of friends doing some cycling around the HBCheers ????
I decided to get the bike out and do one of the trails in the Hawkes Bay today. The Fernhill Iway won the draw. So after swapping towballs on the cachemobile and then removing the bike from the snail shell and putting it on the back of the ute I was away. Parked in the suggested place and got ready.
I was glad where it was and not in the nasty place..
Cheers for the cache.

TFTC. On a bike ride to find the caches not found because of encroaching darkness last week .
Have been planning these caches for a few weeks in conjunction with HKCB for a mad dash and effectively a 24 hour run (so that we could spend time with our respective families) for the rest of the ensuing weekend. Signed most/all caches as HKCD or some such other that we could fit in
Leaving Hamilton at 7pm Friday and getting home midnight on Saturday so that at least 6hours quality sleep was acheived, sleeping in the car is always a bonus (2 hours) and the remainder of the time caching around part of the country we hadn't previousley done a whole lot, but have left plenty for the next trip across the hill.
This was the seventy sfourth of the100+ that we acheived in that time we were over here.
Thanks to all the CO's for the effort and giving some great caches, sorry about the repetitive logs but then 100 is a few to cover off.
Another pleasent bike ride to enjoy what there was to find along the way, these stop banks are great for caching
Thanks for the placement, thanks for the cache

We had been talking about cache bash in Napier for a while, and when Cats&Dragons mentioned a trip down here this weekend I couldn't say no. The plan was to head down Friday night (leaving Hamilton about 7pm) and then cache til we can then grab a few hours sleep and then cache through til late afternoon and then head home. The plan worked well, with about 110 caches found over the 24 hour caching period.
It was the first time we had visited Napier to do a caching mission, and we were both impressed with the genius hides (some we hadn't seen before, I'll give a special mention to those ones). A big thanks to all the CO's whose caches we found, for placing and maintaining them. A great trip and looking forward to a revisit.

This one was a quick easy find. The light was fading on us and still had the walk back to the car. This walk back seemed to take forever!! Tftc
Enjoying these caches while away with tmann421 in the Hawkes Bay
Nice quick find

A quick easy find in the logical place. Now for the walk back to the car park. TFTC
This was the fourth day of my twelve day trip to go to the Wellington Mega. Today I zipped down to Havelock North to do a few power trails to get my numbers up.
I found the cache quickly, but had a bit of trouble getting it out. There was a hand item nearby that helped me. TFTC.

Visiting Hawkes Bay for the weekend as Mrs Rubbishparty is playing a Beethoven concert today. Managed to get geocaching in as well. Enjoyed this series as it combined two of my favourite activities. Geocaching and Biking. Unfortunately lost my pen about half way along so posted some photos of logs. TFTC
Found We left around 5.30am this morning to try and finish the hidden creatures over here, the weather couldn't be more in our favor with no cloud in the sky. thanks to everyone who took the time to place and maintain these caches we got to see much of the bay and many great hides before heading for home around 4.30pm
Glad to have a very quick find here, now time to turn around and run back.
Quiet a lot of dogs around here. Popular spot for a walk.

[FTF] with DJZT. Located the cache in the first place we looked. We enjoyed our walk along here. Love the autumn colours on some of the trees along the path. TFTC.
