Beautiful spot. Container has a bit of water in it but log book reasonably dry. Thanks
Got to explore some of this beautiful area while camping at River's Edge. We even got to throw a line in, but no fish today. Cache found at 12:42hrs with Newy07. Water has gotten inside the container but the log book inside a zip lock back was only slightly damp. Watch out for the Jack Jumpers nest on the way in!
What a beautiful spot to discover. We’ve been heading down this way to Geeveston for sometime but had never taken any of the turn offs. It was a nice little detour coming back for some more caches nearby another weekend!
Hello S_38 thank you for the cache
I stopped off to find your cache but there was too many muggles around so continued up the road to find other caches.
Once back I parked in the now empty parking area and was getting out of the car when a couple of car loads of muggle arrived.
I got back into the car and moved it to make a bit more room for every one.
I thought I would be able to go and find your cache with out been to noticeable.
At GZ the cache was quickly found and replaced without the muggles noticing what I was up to.
As I crossed over the bridge the must have been 15 people in the river having a lot of fun.

What a stunning location for a cache! Came up to walk to Lake Skinner and found this spectacular spot courtesy of geocaching. Muggle partner saw a platypus while I was signing the log, picking up a swag of bundy bottles that had been thrown in bushes and dodging a jack jumper nest! Gets a favourite for the amazing waterhole, that we ended up having a couple of swims in. Thanks for bringing us here S_38, Lekker Ding and Bu.
Been here a number of times. But never for a Cache. Hubby found his first Cache but said for me not to tell anyone. Haha sorry darling. Thanks for the cache. Nice spot to come when it isn’t ruined by idiots.
A couple of quiet caches to see the day out.
Found with IDontHaveOne, VK7HCH and ToolboxTas.
Cache had water in it, drained it out, log slightly damp but still able to write with a pen.
Placed back as found. Thanks for the cache!

The GPS bounced around a fair bit and I needed assistance from Dragonee - who spotted the logical place and came up with the goods. The cache was a bit damp so we left things to dry in the sun while we explored - they were better but still damp when we replaced them. Picked up a trackable that wasnt on the cache inventory - will see if I can track that down and place it somewhere closer to home
hi S_38, Lekker_Ding & Bu and thanks for the cache and the maintenance.
Found today with and by KingSmev after we parked on the wrong side of the river.
We found a blank logbook, so seems the previous log was not a credible find.
This is a great spot, and I remember cooking fish fingers in a frying pan here for the kids many many years ago!
Thanks for bringing us back again.
On a caching adventure this morning with KingSmev after dropping off geoTeenRef at Judbury where he is playing Cricket today. Match due to start in 10 minutes. Hoping to get back before too many overs.
Cheers, EPs.

Thanks Eeepees... Indeed it would seem 0492128125 did not find this cache (or possibly any caches at all) this the the 3rd log of theirs I have deleted.

This took a lot to find. The rocks were slippery.
When I find it the weight told me straight away it was full of water. And so it was, with really fine grain mud mixed in.
The log was surprisingly good. Damp but not soaked. Easy to write it it. The older log was in a bag of water.
The drained cache was put back but I expect it will fill again.

Took a while to find this one but got there in the end. Cache was very full of water but thankfully the ziplock bag had kept the replacement logbook dry. TFTC

Thanks for placing a cache so close to our favorite camp site. Lovely spot. Container full of water so left replacement log in a snap lock bag

Found on a caching trip to Hobart. This was a new area to explored, enjoyed the drive through Lonnavale. Too cold for a swim today!
After reading some logs we then made an easy find at GZ.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

out and about with the Rafas caching, this cache find was for the summer GCA game. got to the sight and two vehicles are parked in the bay off the road so there is tension in the air. first search was bad GZ on map put cache in the water under the bridge, so went back to human Rafa and explained the situation, Tracey got out and went to the other side of the bridge and nowhere near GZ and found the wet log in a lunchbox. Dried out as best we could keeping away from company over the other side of the road, then on returning to car another two cars have pulled up in front of our vehicle. said hello to dog and them of to another cache.
Thanks for the cache. Out and about today with RLD4963 and the GeoGSP. What a top spot - it was very popular, with a large group of people parked just across from GZ obviously set up for the day and a bit of swimming - although no-one was in having a dip during our visit. Two more cars arrived whilst we located the cache so we had to be pretty stealthy - took some photos of the river and the waterhole - beautiful. The cache itself was almost full with water so we drained it out and gave it a bit of a dry. As the log itself was in another plastic bag we were able to sign it, but it is very damp. thanks for bringing us to a beautiful spot - apparently lots of other people know about it though! cheers!
We came down yesterday and arrived in sufficient time to enable us to find all the caches on the back road from New Norfolk to Lonnavale. That meant that we were able to make an early start today on the other caches on our list - this was one of them.
Despite many possible hiding spots consistent with the hint, it only took a couple of minutes before this cache was located. the cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks S_38, Lekker_Ding and Bu for the cache.

We had travelled from New Norfolk to Huonville via the Plenty Link Road and then headed further west to grab a few more caches and this was one we found. Took a while as lots of rocks. TFTC
I have never been down this road before and enjoyed the drive no end with some great views along the way.
Sorry for the late log but i sort of lost track of what I had done and what I hadn't, logged all the important GCA's but forgot the GC's Doh!
Thanks you for bringing me here if it wasn't for your caches I would never have known about this road and the greatness it can show you.
Again sorry about the late log and the copy and paste logs that will follow this one.

when I planned out our Saturday drive down the Plenty Link Road I hoped we'd have time for a few extras one we arrived in the Huon. Somehow I missed this cache off the GPX file but Stainless steel rat had it on his phone. I even remember reading the last few logs so don't know how I missed it.
We walked over the bridge to take in the views before looking for the cache. After snapping off some photos we made our way to GZ. It took a bit of searching but we found it in the open. Well it was hidden from view but not under anything.
Like ausandaus2 and deercheetah we found it full of water but a perfectly dry logbook. SSR tipped that water out and managed to splash himself as though he'd has an accident and we dried it all out. Thank goodness for snap lock bags!
Thanks S_38, this is a beautiful part of the Russell River

Thank you ausandaus2 and deercheetah for the maintenance. I was concerned about this one after the floods. Fantastic to know it has been taken care of
After having a delicious lunch with ausandaus2 at the Summer Kitchen Bakery we decided to come out here to have a look for this cache and the river after the flood. We all enjoyed the drive out to this lovely (today a little wild) location.
Thanks S_38 for showing us the swimming hole and the cache.
Thanks S_38 for showing us the swimming hole and the cache.
Mist on the hills and a fast flowing river made for a spectacular environment out here today. We were geocaching with deercheetah and the cheetah was first (as usual) to find the cache. The container was, as expected, full of water but unbelievably the log book, in the plastic bag, was totally dry. We always carry ‘maintenance gear’ with us so the deer was able to towel dry everything and the cache and contents are now as good as new. Thanks for placing a cache in this very scenic area.

Saw this one published late last night and we decided to wait until morning to go out and find it. What a lovely day and we enjoyed our drive out. Arrived close to GZ and it didn't take long to work out where to look. Nice size container and we were delighted to see an empty log book. Signed the log book and took the TBs and we were disappointed that we had forgotten the ones we had. We then walked to the bridge and took some photo's, what a lovely area. Thanks for bringing us to another interesting area.
