This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache.
If you plan on repairing this cache, please log a note to the cache (not email) within the next 30 days so I don't archive the listing for non-communication.

Cache is broken/missing as per previous logs. Owner does not appear to be active anymore. Archive suggested.
Grey Nomads travelling around Australia - more recently, just Queensland, and of late, Cairns, where we are based for all of March. Out for a wander today, picking up a cache or five.
Found as per photo sent Cache owner. Container is damaged beyond repair needs major repairs urgently.
Thanks Rossjay2005. Would love to have seen this gadget cache in action

Came upon this one, not sure what to expect. However we were not expecting the bird cache to be in pieces at the base of the tree. Could not see any log or TB's
Cache in good condition, don't know if the case was meant to be broken the way it was so it might need fixing. The cache might fall out if not fixed.
Neat cache, getting a bit weather and ant affected but still operating. Well done, signed and replaced this afternoon with many mozzies for company.
Parked near some cricketers unloading equipment for a training session in the nearby cricket nets. Spotted the hide and spent some time tinkering before identifying exactly what was needed to physically find the cache.
Many thanks for a nicely concealed container.

We were disappointed that we couldn't get everything we wanted to whilst in Kuranda yesterday, having to contend with the limitations of the train and skyrail and being on foot. We got an early start today, and drove back up the range, which was a great drive in itself. Down from the range, we still had time before our deadline, so grabbed another handful around Smithfield and Yorkeys Knob.
We like gadget caches, having a couple of our own, so appreciate the work that goes into them. Samuel spotted the cache from the car, I negotiated the burrs and opened the gadget - very cool mate. White ants are eating this tree, and your cache it seems, at least their mud tunnels travel up through the cache.... Relocating to a less dangerous tree might be a good idea, the school should probably get rid of it in any case.... I'll give you a favourite point rather than a favrout... OK? Well done....

While staying up in the Tablelands for a few weeks we enjoyed another trip down to Cairns and grabbed a few caches while we were at it.
We then enjoyed a BBQ lunch at the beautiful Cattana Wetlands.
Many thanks for the hide Rossjay2005...a favourite point on it’s way

Visiting from Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA. Traveling Australia, and our first stop is Cairns. Today we took the Skyrail to Kuranda and the Kuranda Scenic Rail back. Along our travels I grabbed 5 caches today. This is not far from our Air B & B and who doesn’t love gadget caches. I had no trouble figuring out the gadget. The surprise was the huge ant colony in the cache. I don’t know my ants well and the signs along the road says to watch out for Electric Ants. I proceeded this caution and dumped out all I could then grabbed the cache. No shocks or stings, or bites! I marked the log and returned the cache for the next person. What is it with this country and everything that can hurt or kill a person? How’s a guy to grab a cache without fear of some critter jumping out at you to do you harm? This sport down here takes on a whole new twist! TFTC!!
Awesome little find on a Rainy Saturday afternoon. Boys took the tassie expat pathtag. Left checkers

We love the imagination involved with gadget caches. Thought that we'd tackle this one before a coffee so that if we failed, we could ponder over a nice caffeine dose. Turned out to be easy to solve (for us). Left some swag as there was nothing in there. New gate and fence made getting to and from interesting. Tore my top getting back. Oh well. Fav pt awaded for cuteness. TFTC
Staying at Lake Placid for the night there was time for some night caching in the northern parts of Cairns.
Happy to add this to my list of finds!
Thanks for building and hiding this one

This was FUN. Wasn’t as stealthy we should have been, and neighbour came out to quiz about whether we were “allowed” to do what we were doing. She reckoned she had seen a few people checking out the cache but had no idea what it was, so introduced her to geocaching TFTC
Great to see a gadget cache in FNQ, more please! Took longer to replace than open but love the concept. FP from me. Found with Cl0gw0g, TFTC!0

Who goes looking for a FTF with no pen? Improvisation time! Had to emboss the log and smear it with dust.
Well constructed cache good luck with future projects. TFTC
Favourite point added, much deserved
