Further downstream and more, almost luxurious campsites. They are very well set-up, some even with caravans and cars. I mean, why not. On arriving near to GZ, it was Small Wombat who did the honours here, while we looked on. There was a slight breeze, which increased as we headed around the corner. So far the conditions had been perfect for paddling. The water was a lovely temperature. We were initially concerned about mozzies, but there were none to be seen or felt, which we were all grateful for. After signing the log, we headed off to the next cache, saying,Hello, to the resident muggle. Hopefully he didnt care what we were doing, although this particular muggle didnt seem to have a dinghy. Thanks again, WallabyWanderers for bringing is to this quiet piece of Noosa waterways, and AtTheLakeHouse for adopting and maintaining the cache and the series.
Looking for a full day of caching, I packed my car the night before so I could get an early start for the day.I meet up with Duppers, ATLH & Small Wombat to collect a few smilie on the beautiful day.Heading up stream. this was stop #5 - Quick find. Signed ShaDup & Small Wombat.I found your cache, Eenie Creek #10 today.AtTheLakeHouse & ATLH, TFTC, TFTH & TFTSF

’ve been wanting to attempt this series for a long time now, and finally hubby and I had the time and opportunity! We entered via the south end of the bridge, rather than attempting the lake crossing. In the way we saw herons, a scrub turkey chick, some stingrays and a few fish. There were quite a few encampments along the river too. All caches bar one were relatively easy finds and all were in good condition. Thanks Wallaby Wanderers, hopefully we’ll be back to complete the series sooner rather than later.
I was up on the Sunshine Coast for a paddle today. I did have caching partner organise for today’s paddle, but they were a no show. Oh well nice early paddle then head home.
CO thank you for bringing me here what a lovely creek to paddle in. I got a bit windy at the lake entrance. But creek was good through.
I found 14 today most were a quick find, couple took a bit longer. All were in good condition.

These caches have been on my to do list for soooo long. I finally got the opportunity to paddle Eenie Creek and let me say - it was worth the wait! We had perfect weather conditions too, so it was pretty much smooth sailing across the lake to the start of the trail. I was going to go solo for this but at the last minute decided to put a call out for company, and I’m glad I did. Kayaking - like caching - is more fun with others to share it with. I was joined by Peppa and Chamad as part of a day out they had planned. So off we went on a watery adventure together, and with the CO’s permission to do any maintenance necessary, I was armed with replacement supplies just in case. The creek was far more beautiful than I was expecting and it made for a really enjoyable morning. We found all 14, with note to the last one where we observed a real change in vegetation at the end of the line. Thank you so much WW for the hides. If I had that many FPs in the bank I would give them all one
A planned walk with Peppa to finish off a challenge we both were after had to be cancelled. Due to the recent weather events, the slippery conditions and high levels of water in both the creeks and at the crossings would have made for a dangerous situation. An invite from At The Lake House to join her for a paddle seemed a little more enjoyable and rescued the days events. This then put in action a different set of events and we then had a new plan to still complete our challenge cache.
I loaded the car and meet up with Peppa at a convenient spot and off we went. A little earlier than planned but that means we can catch a few butterflies along the way. My trusty navigator had us on point and we found some good little bag fillers along the way.
Thanks for a great morning, we got in 14 caches on the creek and did some maintenance work for the CO, replacing logs and bags and so forth. The whole trip took us 3 hours from launch to beaching. Getting the tides right was a big thing, the paddle across was hard work but once we were in the creek it was a very leisurely paddle around. The wind stayed away right until we started back home, across the open area again but it was a little help than a hindrance.
Thanks to the CO for placing these in here, a truly awesome paddle and on a good day very enjoyable, thank you.

Out for the day with chamad…
The plan is to meet AtTheLakeHouse at Lake Weyba, paddle Eenie Creek and then go for a target cache on the edge of Kondalilla National Park… Meeting again at Carseldine Bunnings at 7am it’s going to be a big day…
Having finally made it to the end of Lake Weyba drive, our small flotilla set off on what appeared ideal conditions… The SS Origami Hooruu performed well until the shallows where it was just easier to get out and walk… chamad was busy counting stingrays… and I was almost going to have a tantie until I spotted one on the way back across the lake…
The paddle across Lake Weyba was deceptively hard… and I was happy to reach the creek…
AtTheLakeHouse came fully prepared today, including the COs permission to replace anything that required attention… I went bush, after dropping sideways into the creek, up the bank in search of the replacement container but failed to locate it… it’s possibly still there and I was just wet and cold…
Tftc… According to the app we were out here for 3 hours and paddled 8.4km

Found this a while ago, logging now.
Saw this interesting series on the map so went out with Smudgeycat D for the afternoon and a look at Eenie Creek. A very nice waterway here.
Once we got into position Smudgeycat spotted the prize and did the duties.

Logging old caches originally found with alphag_25. Now have my own account and logging them separately so that I can claim the finds.
4/1/22 Made plans today to get some more Kayak caches. Reviewed the descriptions and wind warnings but we also have a 35lb motor on Kayak to help us along. Headed out with Geokid Caitlyn1105 and found almost all of these caches spot on gps gz and a quick search and caches were found in good condition. Lovely area to Kayak and thanks for bringing us here. TFTC SL
Had a couple of cracks at this one, on the way up the creek, and then coming back out. No luck! Kicking myself that I didn't scroll further through the logs though, because there's a nice juicy hint in an old entry. Seems like we stayed too close to the water and the top of the bank rather than venturing in a little bit. Hopefully back here soon to make amends! Thanks for the awesome series, WallabyWanderers.
JQTB showed an interest in coming up to Noosa and do the Eenie Creek series while my wife and I were holidaying in Noosa.
But alas a circus invite trumped that idea. On the Monday my wife and I attempted to reach the Eenie creek by crossing lake Weyba on our Hobie adventure islander. But low tide meant we constantly ran aground.
On Friday a mate (Rod) and I devised a plan to cruise up the weyba creek and lake at high tide and also by using a little 2.5 hp motor on our islanders.
We hit ground several times, but this time reached our destination. Now to attack the series....
We had 1 hour 30 min to attempt as many as we could.
We got to do 10 out of the 14.
Last log before we have to head back. What a pity. But I’ve come up with a plan to do the rest by foot the following day.
This one was a difficult bank climb. Fun.
Cache eventually found. Signed. A lovely spot, lot of mosquitoes, and jumping fish.

Turned the corner here and can hear the highway traffic. Caches have blended together, but enjoying the series, thanks again.
Teamed up with E-Smiley at 7am and finished the series in 2.5h. We made good progress and the weather was perfect.

So many jumping fish today. Makes me wish l brought some fishing gear with me. TFTC
Logged in post haste. My filters didn’t exhibit this cache until my mentor TGG sorted me out ( & might I say (mmmmmmm)now I’m logging efficiently)
***COs- catching up on a significant logging backlog stretching back a number of years.?? It started as a series of unfortunate events and went from there. I am logging your cache on the date I had been there, not the day I'm now logging on. Apologies for the late logs. Cheers?? ***************************************Up here with hatzofff, RoddyC and SnickersAllan having fun and finding caches. We set sail from under the bridge and paddled out here to Lake Weyba and worked our way back.. Once away from the bridge it was just magic along here. We found all the caches and really enjoyed the paddle. TFTC??
Visiting from the Gold Coast and met up with northern geo friends to tackle a few local caches today. Absolutely loved this series on this quiet and tranquil creek. Most finds were easy to spot and were all in great order, thanks CO.

Our second of three days on the Sunny Coast.
Today we headed up to Noosaville for a bunch of T5 caches.
We launched at the upstream bridge, then paddled to the Lake to begin collecting our Smileys on the way back.
This one caught us out. Google Maps must be a bit out in their mapping as it has us visually in the middle of the river. That can't be, so closer to the bank we went. Eventually, Snickersallan even got out of her Yak and explored the bank until Grannysmith1947 spotted the blighter!
Cache located, log signed and all replaced as found. TFTC, WallabyTim, at 1:57 PM on August 31, 2020.

Another Great day out doors with the good company of the Logan/Gold Coast geocachers.
We had targeted a few cachers this trip and had the kayaks on board so put them to good use. These were unloved too.
Great day, great weather, great caches and great company.

Searched the bank near the fallen tree, bottom to top. No luck on this one.

Took a while, but my trusty buddy used some ninja skills to scrabble up the bank
There was a tree down right near GZ and hanging a little over the water. It appeared to be because of quite a bit of erosion that has happened just in this area. Widening our search, and reading a past log alerted us as to where we needed to be. With that information, it was a very quick find after a bit of a scramble by Mrs Domsky up the muddy bank. All good. Container is safe and dry.
Thanks WallabyTim for maintaining this great series. They were all a lot of fun along the way.

Paddling down stream and chatting as we went, in no time at all we were at GZ. Oh no, there is a tree down, roots and all and half in the water. Undeterred we began our search from the water. After coming up with nothing a yak was wedged in and I was on the shore with Mr 4ando yelling out places to try, after a good 15 minutes we deemed that either it wasn’t here or we were useless. Just as I went to head back down, bam there was the cache sitting wide out in the open! The teether is broken, we added our name and then thought we need to put this somewhere that it won’t get washed away. We thought about the roots of the broken tree but then we thought, it won’t last.
In the end we decided to climb straight up the bank, to the large tree and placed it at the base with some good coverage, once you climb up the bank it is in about 1.5m metres in, just look for the biggest tree in the area. Hope the CO is happy with this, we will send through some photos.

So Spellzen and I wanted to take a little mini vacation but had the secondary agenda of geocaching so where to go? NOOSA! It was the first getaway we ever had when I first came to Australia and this was his birthday weekend so it was the perfect spot. This also marks my first time ever in a kayak (loved it!) and Spellzen was absolutely patient and loving towards my inexperience. This was a great series and we enjoyed it thoroughly! Thanks so much for this series of caches! Created wonderful memories for me! Tftc! Teazr and Spellzen
Day 3 of the Pine Rivers Cruising Yakht Squadron organised event to kayak the Sunshine Coast. The numbers dwindled overnight and now it was Brother Colin and myself gathered caches at Eenie. Another who shall remain nameless apparently has brown bottle fever ( maybe that was green bottle fever).
Had a great morning cruising up and back along this creek with a little excitement on the return journey as the Police were apparently hot on the trail of some villains and were keen for us to get out of that area. Lucky for us we got those caches on the way upstream
A DNF after extensive searching here.

Day 2 of a long week-end of kayak caching.
This morning I headed out with Ruzzelz and Brother Colin.
This creek gets better as you venture further in..
Unfortunately we think this one is missing as the tree at GZ has fallen into the creek.

This weekend of camping and kayaking was organised by Slow Puncture for a group from the PRCYS. We stayed at the Scout Campsite, 'Camp Cooroora' on the banks of Lake MacDonald. A fantastic place to stay with hot showers, grassy campgrounds, fire pits and kitchen facilities ... and cheap. [^]
Day 1 involved finding the caches on Lake MacDonald and Cooloothin Creek. [^]
Day 2 started with Eenie Creek with Ruzzelz and finished with Cooroibah Creek with Caro.
We believe this one is missing as the tree at GZ has fallen into the creek.

I marveled at the massive birds nest up in the electricity tower. I’m guessing it must be an eagle as it’s huge. I almost drifted past the cache but made a quick find.

We continued on along the creek and there was no wind at all today and it was very overcast. A few drops of rain appeared as we neared GZ but nothing to worry about.

After a failed previous attempt at getting these caches (turns out being in hospital with pneumonia is not ideal geocaching conditions...), we made our way to the site. Just as I pulled over I get a phone call - "Did you forget your bags?". Yes... yes, I did!. But I have all my kayaking gear, so off we go. This was a nice paddle (although a bit stinky at the top). The tethers seem to be a bit weak, with a few containers being found broken off them, but otherwise all good. TFTC!
It was a pleasant paddle down Eenie Ck by the crew of Ardom, JACS Team, Gcoven and the 'Waz' from Waz & Vik as we tracked down the errant Eenie wallabies. Good to see transparent tannin coloured water and the swirls of fish as we went by. Shame I didn't get a close enough look to see what type of fish they were. I did berate myself for not throwing in a rod for trawling along the edge of the vegetation. This cache was an easy drive by . . .
Thanks for placing the Eenie Creek series on a beautiful part of the sunny coast WallabyTim.

Having uploaded my paddle to strava I noticed that quite a few folks paddle along this creek. It even has a strava segment from the creek mouth to the bridge.
Today is the day for Raynersinoz' Excellent Eenie Expedition! Geohubby loaded up the kayaks and we found ourselves at Eenie Creek. Looking back at past logs we decided to park near the Eenie Creek bridge and we started out with Eenie #12. It turned out to be a good choice because by the time we reached Lake Weyba it was blowing a gale. Yikes! The creek was really lovely to paddle in and we had jumping fish, birds and even a swimming tiger snake keeping us company. We only had 3 hours to paddle the series as school pick up was looming, but we managed to find all the caches and get the numbers for the nearby puzzle (it was too blowy to go and find the cache). Thank you for a wonderful series of paddling caches, we loved it!
Eenie #5 and this one was um...er...interesting. Not so much the cache, but the journey to get there. I was paddling along minding my own business when I noticed a stick not moving on the current, but coming straight towards me. Well maybe not straight...kind of a zig-zag motion...yikes!!!...it's a snake...A SNAKE WITH TIGER STRIPES!!! I don't think Geohubby has ever seen me paddle so fast...backwards While I was concentrating on avoiding a snake-human interaction, Geohubby just happened to find the cache. He signed the log and we were soon on our way. TFTC WallabyTim

We heard a rumour that bella at waggy was up here too. We had picked up our new caravan yesterday and having sorted most of the issues a brief caching break in the afternoon seemed a good plan.
A call to B@W and a plan was made to jointly do the caches around Eenie Creek.
And after another pleasant day led to new names is a series of D5s as well as a couple of others such as Row Row Row your Boat.
Having managed to squeeze a day on the Sunny Coast, and it was certainly living up to its name we had managed to borrow a kayak (thanks) so tried to squeeze in as many T5 caches as we could.
A few stingrays were seen down near the shallows at the mouth of the creek plus a few fish jumping out of the water.

A call from Brad and Janet at around midday after the first two creeks revealed they were also up this way so a plan was hatched to meet up and do Eenie Creek with Brad.
A suitable launch point was found and another beautiful water way admired as we paddled around making the finds and noting down the clues. Fortunately no injuries or broken branches like before.
As a bonus we picked up Row Row Row Your Boat puzzle along the way.
A few stingrays around particularly down near the shallow sand flats at the mouth of the creek plus some active fish jumping out of the water. TFTC and series.

With reports that the creeks of the Sunny Coast had been recently sprouting dozens of new caches, a plan was hatched to paddle Eenie and Cooloothin Creeks with Slow Puncture to see what we could find.
We started at Eenie Creek to try and get out early before the wind picked up, and found a nice sheltered place to park under the bridge before hitting the water. There was abundant wildlife both jumping about in the water and soaring high above it.
All caches in the series were found (some with more effort than others) leading us to the final before heading back. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache **WallabyTim**.

Tuesday. Mrs SP was out up the coast in the light rain today with Orange Crew, both with kayaks in tow. This cache was hiding very well. Luckily for us, the sun wasn’t blazing today, and we had good cloud cover, so we could look all around and up without having to get much light bouncing around. Log signed and replaced. We were moving on quite quickly now.
This was the 6th of 17 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***WallabyTim***, for showing us this place.

Dora the Explorer! and I decided to spend the day on the water to grab some caches. This was our second creek today.
After having some lunch, we found a good place to launch our kayaks and set off to grab the caches along this water way and also obtaining the information required to locate the mystery cache at the end.
All the caches were found relatively easy.
All is good with this cache.

Quick and easy find. Quick and easy find. We had an enjoyable afternoon paddle alongvthis water way. There was no wind, so was very easy paddle. We parked not far from the bridge and completed the upstream caches first then the down stream caches next. We saw a huge sea eagle nest in a electrical tower. This was a really nice place to paddle and we saw fish jumping out of water and small bats flying around at dusk. We performed various trapeze acts and gymnastics getting in out of the kayaks to get the cache. CDAH55 ended up in drink at one stage when he was left unsupervised.
Cache originally placed by geo-hubby WallabyTim with geo-wife MrsWallaby (formerly KaleidoscopeCass) along for the paddle. Re-logging under our now combined caching name of WallabyWanderers. We no longer live in the area so thanks to dahumbug for adopting this cache

We still had kayaks loaded on the car from the previous days adventure, but when these were published we decided to set aside the days plans for EVIL NUMBERS and head to Eenie Creek instead. I have often said to a few people that this creek would make a magnificent trail of creek caches. Since the creek is predominantly sand instead of mud, the creek is crystal clear and so pleasant to paddle through. After parking beside the creek, right near the Eenie Creek cache on Walter Hay Drive, we started our morning adventure before the wind really started to blow.
**End of Copy and Paste Section**
Third find of the day and the cache was definitely numbered wrong. Although the puzzle/final was not published at this stage, I instantly worked out what the 14 caches represented and started to show a real interest to what else we could find that wasn't published yet.
Thanks Wallaby Tim

Ah ha! There's definitely some mischief going on here... No puzzle had been published yet and there was still a gap or two in the geocaching map where we were heading, so our brains were busy working out what may be there and what could be required. Dahumbug was a step or two ahead of me, mentioned something and I instantly agreed. I was already buzzing at getting FTF on some T5 caches, but things were getting even more exciting...
Thanks for the cache, WallabyTim.
