New log sheet replaced. Everything in good order and still exactly where it was originally placed. Domsky
Tonight it is threatening to rain, but I feel the need to go for a bit of a drive after a long week. Where to? Nobody knows. So I just head out with the windows down and see where the road takes me. Eventually on top of a hill, looking at the skyline of Brisbane, I figure that's a good direction. A quick search of geocaches leads me to aim for here.More driving through the night and the heavens open and the streetlights reflect off the road and I take several wrong turns, enjoying the detours and not caring about most direct routes. Remind me to properly set up Google Maps or Android Auto in the car, eh.Eventually, I arrive here. Was it my destination? Not when I left, but I'm here now and a little shelter shed overlooking the river makes for a cozy feeling place to watch the tide run out to me. I stood and watched the river for a bit as a heavier shower passed, then set about flashing my phone torch around a lot, looking for a geocache. Some time later, there was some GPS bounce, and I headed to what would be the right location. My thick head had missed some subtle hints in the description. Once there, I spotted the sneaky hide. I'm not sure I've seen one used just like this before - clever. The logbook is very full, so enjoy my photo instead. At 21:15 I called it a find and thus ended this punctuation of my random evening adventure. Thanks for the geocache, domsky
Spent quite some time here before finally finding What I was looking for. Needs new log paper. TFTC
Took us some time to find this one as the GPS wasnt quite pointing us to the right spot. Luckily the area was muggle free possibly due to the threatening rains. We had a lovely view to enjoy as we hunted and appreciated the hide once we spotted it. Thanks domsky
Well we were searching the wrong spot for the first bit until something of interest was spotted. Bingo the cache. A great hide here.Enjoyed sitting here watching across the water and seeing a ferry.Thank you domsky for placing this cache.Log signed as B&PFind number 5060
Staying south side for work so up and about early (so light here) for a big walk and a few ad labs. This was a ripper hide. Fav added on this glorious morning. Thanks for the fun and adventure.
I'm in Australia for approximately 6 weeks - I was born in Darwin but moved to Ireland at the age of 3 so this is my first time back. I really enjoyed my time here. This cache:I rented a scooter to get some of the labs and caches around the area and as it was dark when I found this there were no muggles. Very clever hide so FP from me.Apologies for taking so long to log! Tftc!
TFTC! Quick grab on a nice afternoon, took my friend with me to introduce her what’s geocache is about. Very well disguised one thanks CO for the placement
Quick find here. The cache was found in pretty much the first location I looked. Nice work here. You have given me an idea.

This morning, following parkrun and daughter gymnastics, it was an opportunity to head over to Dutton Park to help with the planned Dutton Park Cemetery CITO.
Unbelievably, I still had this *Urban Caching in South Brisbane* cache yet to find, and perhaps it was my last to find in the series? Some may say that the best was kept to last? We arrived after attending the nearby CITO event, and then I followed the coordinates to GZ, and concentrated on that particular small area. After reading a couple of logs, a few ideas came to mind, and after performing a detailed search, the clever hide was found. A good spot and well camouflaged! The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks [@domsky](http://coord.info/PR47ACH) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. Favourite Point!

This took me way longer than it should have. Turns out I noticed the cache but failed to fully investigate it. After a PAF the penny finally dropped and success! Thanks for the fun. Great spot.
I felt constrained by a muggle at the site but eventually it turned out that it was somewhere that could be handled somewhat discreetly.
A well hidden cache here. I've seen plenty like this before but not quite so well disguised. I spent a while searching for exactly this on the wrong structure before the gps settled down. Thanks. Nobody around in the evening. Gets dark so early!!
This was a really fun and creative hide. Found it pretty fast but didn’t realise it was the cache until much later. I never realised the building nearby was a hippie building.
Out for a walk this morning along the 3iver getting a bit of exercise there's even a bit of drizzle to wash away my sins. Got to this one before making a right angle back towards South Bank through West End... was glad to fine the shelter near ground zero as the rain had suddenly and briefly gotten a little heavier. This gave me time to read the description and let the compass zero in on which direction I needed to look. I found myself looking at one particular object so headed over and soon discovered the clever little hide. Back to the shelter to take care of the paperwork before popping thongs back as found.
Now to face that big hill just there
Thanks for bringing me here with your geocache CO and adding to my mornings fun.

A quiet area and it was nice to day a cache of that type used in that way. TFTC.
Omg what a sneaky hide but as others have said I suddenly saw something that was a bit different but still fitted in ! A favourite point from me. I just signed an M in red writing to save space. Tftc
This is the third time that I have visited this cache, The other times there have been muggles too close to the location for me to attempt to look for it.
Today, I had the area to myself and the cache was quickly located.

Needing to be at our favourite Vegan restaurant by 5pm we found we had almost 9 hours to fill in so a-caching we will go!
I think we nailed over 30 smilies to our map today.
Wow!
It looks like several hippie types (perhaps) are setting up camp here? [?]
A quick survey of the area & Mrs VC headed for the river, well it was a little hot & steamy today.
She actually disappeared amidst the long grass.
Gee, I hope she is OK? [?]
Being so concerned with Mrs VC's safety I went off at a slight tangent to inspect a nearby fig tree, just buzzing with excitement.
Yes I was buzzing and so was the tree!
Lo and behold ... a bee hive is obviously inside the tree going by the the activity just above ground level ... please be aware and DO NOT INTERFERE with the bees.
I next engaged in conversation with a courting pair of young male muggles seated at the shelter near GZ.
Hello, pardon, what the ... ? [?]
Did I say something to offend them (or perhaps they were just embarrassed, I can sometimes have that effect on people or so 'm told )?
Ok, mission accomplished ... other than two guys playing mechanic or something the coast was now clear ... if I can just find the cache now ... OH yeah, and Mrs VC,
I wandered over to GZ and as Mrs VC began to move further afield I gave my full full attention to something that was calling to my inner cache senses!
Well lookie here!
The cache!
I called Mrs Vc over & pointed to the cache ... her reply will remain between just us I think? [?]
Made our mark & replaced AS FOUND!

Finally found it on my fourth visit here as it seems to be a very busy place for locals to sit & relax. I still found it difficult & needed a gentle push in the right direction from the CO. Thanks for your help & TFTC
Really loved walking through the area and seeing all the interesting houses and community spots around. This was another great location with another great find. This series is awesome, always something different to look for. TFTC!
Picking up some medication of QCH so a good chance to grab a cache from the other side of the river. No issues here today. Definitely a view I haven’t seen before, but could sit for hours and watch the world pass.
My second visit here but again thwarted by the presence of muggles enjoying the area
Nice and sneaky, but easy when you're used to looking for something that doesn't match. FP for sure

Quick find based on description but the top has now been lost. Have contacted owner
Came here after a massive sandwich lunch. Tried to get this one previously but someone was sitting at the table and didn't look like they were moving anytime soon, even after killing time admiring the nearby veg patch. This time.. No one was there!! The GPS was a bit off. But after a search of the surrounding area, found something that blended in but also stood out. Luckily, it was the cache Thanks for the sneaky hide!
Out early on this beautiful morning to collect my cache for the day.
Such a lovely spot to sit and watch the activity on the river, it's quite a busy place!
My gps was a little bouncy, I had my eye on one spot as a likely gz, as I approached the gps decided it liked that idea as well.
I quickly had the log in hand but realised I'd left the pen in the car. Luckily I'd parked close by so no issue.
Log signed and cache replaced as found.
Thanks domsky for the clever cache and for bringing me to this lovely spot. A fav from me.

This was my first stop but too many people so wandered along to the nearby AL. Came back an hour later and a couple who had been in the swing were just leaving, so had the place to myself. Found the cache quickly but the log was falling apart as I was removing it. Just as I was putting it back, a car pulled up. It was the CO coming to replace the log. What great timing and great to meet a fellow cacher. Tftc

A quick visit across the river today as a break in work. Good to avenge an old DNF here, found without too much issue today - but logsheet is very much falling apart now. Needs replacing.
Thanks domsky for entertaining me at this location.

The log is in a bad way. I’ve signed it but possibly over some washed away old ink so photo included. Very creative cache. This is a very Brisbane spot, especially when the City Cats come past. I was lucky - a muggle turned up as I was leaving and sat down for a while. Favourite point.
Cache was near where my daughter works, so we headed here after I picked her up this afternoon. Beautiful spot. There was 4 city cats going past. Log was very wet but we did sign which was difficult. TFTC
This one was a pretty quick find by Miss OlMaLol. Great cache container, it really blends in to the surroundings! Thanks for the cache Domsky
Great spot, very discretely placed and still there given the level of muggle activity around! Log in good condition with several spots left to fill.
Found with goldielover today. Beautiful day for some urban caching.
All good here with your cache TFTC

Very beautiful location, never realised this little park/lookout was here. The swing was a bunch of fun too. TFTC!
After my hospital appointment, my mum Mnance101 and I decided to do this cache. Lovely view. TFTC!
Needing a cache today for my calendar, my daughter Pinkypie05 and myself decided to do this cache after her hospital appointment. I left her near the table as I was worried about her slipping. A nice quick find. Lovely view. TFTC!
After work I had some time for a little bit of caching and I have been here before and got muggled. Today there was someone enjoying their lunch at gz and I was going to wait but decided to go off and find another cache on my list and hope the muggle would be gone. I did this and came back and there was another muggle reading their paper. Wow this is a lovely spot and everyone loves it..I sat in the car and wrote my notes of a cache I just found and finally the coast was clear. I was lucky at gz and spotted this cache after only a couple of minutes. What a great cache. I see why it has so many favourites. Thankyou for placing this cache here for us to enjoy . Giving it a FP FOR all the fun
I now need to do some research on the proposed “Mega Bridge” that everyone seems opposed to... it was Blkthunder who came up with the goods here... we just had to wait out a cruising local...
As others have mentioned the veggie gardens are mighty impressive and the cache is crafty... have another fave point... tftc...

Found myself over this side of town today to grab a couple of caches to keep my challenges alive. I am so close to finishing the 366 challenge now and the hard part is trying to find caches that are close by. I’ve left these ones for a day like today. I parked near GZ and admired the urban veggie gardens nearby. A walk over to gz and a search in the usual spots yeiled nothing then a think outside the box and a glance around and I found something that didn’t look right for the area. Then a better look at the item and I soon found the cache, a terrific little hide.
I finally got the log out of its spot to sign, with the log signed and replaced as found I was off to the next one in the area. Thanks for placing this one here, a favourite point from me.

Didn’t expect this find!!!! Craziest geocache ever! Log book is full so we snapped a photo.
[Logged 15/09/20, sincere apologies for the late note!]
Came here with a friend, actually on accident as we overshot the bridge cache a couple hundred metres up the road! I was excited anyway as I'm still meaning to complete the Urban Caching series and this is just another tick in that book.
Was a beautiful afternoon as the sun had just started to set on the river, and after a bit of careful manoeuvring to GZ, I spotted the goods. It's always fun to find an interesting cache with someone else, feels good to share the excitement!
Log is nearly full and may need replacing soon, but we squeezed our names on there. TFTC, great little series you have going here

After scratching around for 15 minutes or so, and being eyeballed by somebody sitting in a car in the street, I messaged the CO for a nudge. I got a quick and extremely helpful reply. D’Oh! I went over that spot 10 minutes ago!! Argh! It must be time to get something to eat! TFTC domsky. You get a favourite point for ingenuity and helpfulness.
I came across this quiet little eco oasis yesterday on my meanders around west end..
I was so impressed by the local vege garden i stood back and admired the whole operation a good long while.
Then i got down to business and not long later the cache was discovered and the tiny log signed.
This easily gets another fave point for the clever use of the environment.
Thank you so much domsky for continually raising the bar.

Mister 2 had appointment this morning so we thought we would do a few caches on this cool morning. Nice and easy find. Thanks for the cache. All is good with cache
What a curious spot. The nearby vege garden is flourishing. There are deck chairs and a huge swing. Tftc
Joked about the cache being the cache.. it was the cache. Actually a quick find with my geo buddy. Cheers for another domsky
Very clever! First of that kind of cache I've found. Can now apply to ones I couldn't find earliar tftc!
Went for a quick cache on my lunch break and had to use all my stealth on this one, pretended to take some river photos while a muggle ate their lunch at the picnic table. TFTC
Found this one quickly on my bicycle tour around the city before Christmas.

Knew that that feature had to be the place, but a muggle had taken seat at the picnic area and was staring at me. So I pretended to take a sunset photo and left for another nearby cache before returning. As I thought, it was there. Clever. I like it. TFTC
I went straight to the cache and dismissed that area. After doing a few circles I sat and thought about it for a bit and thought I would try that first spot again and bam. Gotcha! Tftc
Decided to head to Brisi with my geodog Scruffy and find a few caches,

During my three weeks in Australia I got plenty of time to spend for my favorite hobby. There are some geocaches, which could be grabbed easily, but most of them are like all typical city caches - you have to be patient and wait for the muggles to disappear. Somehow I managed to find them.
Many thanks to all the owners for hiding and maintenance of their containers.

Back up in Brizzie for another weekend and of course some caching. Finishing off a couple of this series from last weekend. Lovely part of the river, pity about the noise from the council concrete cutting on the road right behind GZ. TFTC domsky
Tep.....DO NOT bring unsupervised littlies to this cache....a quick find but momentarily I feared I needed TOTT but found my pen was sufficient. & Thanks 4 introducing me to another beautiful part of Brisbane River late on a gorgous tho dry Spring Day. Nearby muggles ignored my antics &T4TC
