Searching for a while but no luck for me! However someone has been pruning close to the 2 meter stick

22-May-20
Went out and checked this. GZ is no longer what it was and the 2 hint items have either been trimmed or dismantled. I am therefore archiving. Will have to reconsider this walkway. Thank you all have found it over the time. I hope you all enjoyed the walkway.

As we are going to level 2 at midnight which allows for geocaching to start up again I am enabling all my caches. It is still level 2 so we still need to be careful out there. Please take precaution when handling the containers and think of your fellow cachers. Use sanitizers where possible. So take care and lets go caching again.

04-Apr-20
I have decided to disable all my caches because of the covid-19 level 4 lockdown.
I have noticed that there is still a number of cachers out there that are finding caches that are not within their "Local Area". I am sure that whilst they maybe taken all reasonable steps to ensure their safety they are not adhering to the rules of "remaining in your home" Therefore I am putting all my caches on Hold until the government lift the restrictions.
No logs will be accepted during this period and apologize for any inconvenience.

Another easy find today in my wander along the Walkway.
Always appreciate getting out of the car and having a wee explore rather than just stopping at the roadside for geocaches .
Many thanks for placing.

Logged in loving memory of LRPnz. Found after a nice walk down from Hamilton Park Cemetery, accompanied by my mum. The cache container has lost most of the paint from its lid, so was easily visible. Made sure it was more hidden when we returned it. TFTC.

All those stairways to nowhere!
Another quick find, just spot on as per the hint.
On through the eucalyptus grove. Wow, you really get a feel for how big these trees are when they are fallen!

12-Oct-18
A little rain wasn’t going to stop the cacher from getting out. A beautiful walk through the bust on a wet afternoon. Cache was easy to find and in great condition. This is well worth the walk to find. Thanks heaps

27-Sep-18
I enjoyed my walk as I continued down the trail to GZ. The hint gave me two choices as to where to start looking and, miraculously, I picked the correct one first. TFTC.

16-Sep-18
We found this cache on an enjoyable family walk. My wife actually found this one while the boys and I explored what was at the top of the stairs. Muggles arrived before she could return it so we took it with us and returned it when we came back this way on our way back to the car.

15-Sep-18
Out and about enjoying the warmer Spring weather. No problems with the find TFTC.

08-Sep-18

28-Aug-18
We have been as far as the gum trees for a cache some years ago, so this piece was new to us. There was a mother duck with 6 ducklings in the stream here.

On a road trip with McJandals over the hill to Hamilton. An early start to make the most of the day. We had lots of laughs and quite a bit of mud and took a few wrong turns. Thanks to all the CO’s for their caches TFTC

25-Jul-18
Didn’t see any track closed signs today just as well cause I didn’t see the update on track closure.

Nice stroll on a Sunday...TFTC

09-Jun-18
With a break in the weather the only thing I really had to do today was geocache. I had no plans so enlisted TNXPro and Squirrelnutcase to search for a worthy adventure. What no one knew at the time was this adventure would span 21 hours, cover 3 regions and we'd have Davidson clan join us at the half way point. A crazy day but there's no denying - it's a lot more fun with friends!

This cache involved a nice little wander and it was found quickly and in good condition thanks to accurate coords and a straight forward placement. Cheers KayGeeDee, TFTC Smile

With Philip.Perry and TNXPro...

A decision was made to visit Hamilton with the purpose of clearing a handful of caches on my 'To Do' list... We were surprised by the amount of water passing through the gully. Would not be so pleasant in here when it floods... TFTC.

The weather was looking perfect for a caching trip, so myself, Philip.Perry and Squirrel.Nutcase joined forces and decided to hit the Waikato area to try clear Squirrels map.
After clearing the busy cemetery, we headed out to this lovely little walkway.
While the cache was being signed, I noticed that the water level seemed quite high. The marker was signifying 0.5m , but I dont know if this is normal or not, as I've never been here before.
Thanks for showing me another unknown place.
TFTC

04-Jun-18
I was a little worried as the stream was very high today but I needn't have been. Cache was found nicely nested out of harms way. TFTC.

27-May-18
Thought I'd better take the dog for a walk....okay, I wanted to get a few caches plus I didn't like my other option of jobs around the house. The weather wasn't fantastic but the rain held off just enough. As I just left the car park another car pulled up so I decided the best option was to walk to the end and pick up the caches on the way but. Had nearly got to the end, when I spotted the CO and FapandGap! Had a bit of a chat before continuing onto the last cache and then heading back to the car. All caches were quickly found and in great order. Thanks KDG for the hides.

24-May-18
Driving home from work this afternoon and I get a phonecall from Kiwis69. She only had to mention a few words and I knew the plan and my planned trip to Bunnings was put off till tomorrow.

A nice walk through here although we were so busy chattering we almost walked right on by. Lucky we spotted a fitting hint item. I overlooked it but luckily on second look by K69 the cache was soon found.

A busy little walkway, even today on a midweek afternoon. Nice to see it being used. Thanks for the caches along here to inspired more people to use this track

Was mulling over whether to drive into town to do chores after work or drive out here for a walk and a spot of geocaching. Finding out that 11hpg11 was happy to be distracted from chores too was the deciding factor. Really enjoying our walk but, as per usual, our nattering means we almost miss GZ here. A bit more focus on the task in hand and we found it safely tucked away. Cache all good, even after recent downpours, looks well set up to stay dry, TFTC

Had a bit of spare time this afternoon, so nothing like a short walk and a cache find, A nice brisk walk there and back just before it started to rain

13-May-18
Decided to wander over and grab these caches. Been living in Hamilton city since I was 19, and have driven past here many many times, but had no idea this area was here! Took a few minutes to locate. Wonder if the water really does reach that high?!

TFTC KayGeeDee, the cache was found in good order Very Happy Signed, sealed and returned to GZ. 2 find(s) of 4 today, making this find #1797

10-May-18
Continued along the meandering trail past some real murky streams and was soon at GZ after a short search the log was signed and replaced as found Thanks KayGeeDee nice cache

10-May-18
The kids at the nearby school are lucky having this walkway nearby although with all the PC it's probably out of bounds. Thanks for bringing us here KayGeeDee

09-May-18
Noticed these pop up last night as i was heading to bed and had this sudden desire to go caching, but thought others would be closer so would just grab them today (as need a MAY find).
Was surprised to note that they still had not been logged when i awoke decided to have a look as i headed to work, hah still not logged.
So work could wait and hope against hope they were still there. Arriving at each in turn i still had the trepidation that the FTF would be gone but was very pleased to see a blank log and a {FTF} in the bag. Thanks for the early morning excursion and the bonus of 3 FTF's
