Peppa and I had planned to attend the Meet the Canadian event at Mooloolaba today so to make a day of it, we left home at 7am to have a full day. Met up with E-Smiley and continued our caching day.
Well we certainly trampled the area searching for this cache. No stone was left unturned except one which I did and found the cache. Peppa said he had searched there! Well so far I am 2/1 in the find count today but it's still early. SL then returned as found.

Patrol14 and I have journeyed to the Sunnie Coast for the Canadians at the Coast event in Mooloolaba this afternoon… deciding to make a full day of it we left the Southern burbs of Brisbane this morning at 7am…
Thinking we’d work our way through Mountain Creek we were joined by E_Smiley… Like whenever we attempted to walk on grass today, it didn’t take long to get bogged down in the caches…
The recent DNFs didn’t intimidate us here… and even though I managed to touch the caches hiding spot, several times, it was Patrol14 who uncovered the container… it’s not a competition though…

So happy to have joined the lovely caching group of Peppa and Patrol14, before the event today. We basically targeting caches with recommended at night to qualify for a challenge, then pick up other caches that are in the vicinity.

A day out caching on the Sunshine Coast with Brislions. After finding a nearby cache, we strolled to this one. I picked the right spot and we were soon adding our names to the log. TFTC
I was up on the Sunshine Coast again grabbing a few caches with Selva Girls. I found 27 caches for the day Selva Girls found a few less. We had lots of fun today. Sorry for the generic post, yes more short log because I am so far behind in logging. TFTC. *3870* Finds
After riding on cement paths all day I thought I was made of top stuff and rode the bike through the soft grass to the cache. We had seen plenty of water around and so when I got 4 metres in the bike got bogged and my dream of being an all terrain rider was dashed.
I kicked the bike stand in and not even it was up to fighting the soft grass and so politely decided my whole bike should eat grass. How do cows find this stuff so yummy?
One side and then the other and although Mrs Woodyrothwell was less than 3 metres away from me when I found the cache she still kept kicking rocks over. She is either getting deaf in her old age or has a serious aversion to rocks. tftc

Out chasing some target caches in the area today, as this one was not far from the target cache it would have been silly not to grab it while I was passing.
I had a quick look around, stepped on a couple of cane toads and soon uncovered the cache.

After finding a place to park, headed to gz with kiwiz@gz , my thoughts were this isnt going to be easy as gps was dancing. But found fast and signed. Tftc
Yay.. both (nascar182) and us are after a cache for the final of the year and after the GPS settled we finally got to add a smilie to our count. TFTC

Good to see this wildlife corridor in place
But wouldn't it be better,
if the human race didn't exist
Then critters could roam,
come and go as they want,
without the threat of a tyre stomp [:o]
Places like this remind me that the human race will dissolve,
while other species continue to evolve
And in our wake we will leave,
a place where creatures will survive [^]

A nice quick find on ANZAC day as we remember those who made a safe country for us to geocache in! TFTC
Last cache of the day while we headed home. Started to get dark but I thought this specific hint would get me there. It did but not until I spent quite a while moving stones. TFTC
I was out with the three boys today at the nearby cricket nets for a bit of a hit... and afterwards we decided to find this cache. Took us a little while as the GPSr was all over the place. But after using the hint in many forms, we found the cache ok.
