Hi I've replaced the cache. 3rd time lucky. It is now a micro. A black camoed botlle.
Wanted a cache from the northern end of the peninsula so drove along to this one. A quick find. TFTC
A short scramble up the dune with the kids and then a quick find. Was expecting to find a regular sized container but after reading the logs it turns out this a micro sized replacement. Thanks rossmcg156.
Perfect navigation!

To continue with my personal challenge of having found a minimum of 10 caches for every day of the year I needed to find just 1 cache today to bring my total finds for the 31st December to 10. In preparation for today's raid I had scoped out this location a couple of weeks ago and found that the cache was missing. But, after my logging a DNF the CO quickly replaced the cache.
Today, I cycled down through Bottlelake Forest from Spenser Park to GZ. I was very pleased to find that the replacement cache was still in place. This would be my last cache find for 2018. Thanks for the cache rossmcq156.Time now to head back to Spenser Park and then home for lunch.

Quick find while the others already went to the car after seeing the beach. Now off to the city
We are in a 3 weeks holiday on the south island.
Thanks for the cache, all dry and good. Only one signature so far on the logbook, plus mine now

I needed 1 today for a calendar day challenge, nice easy find. Thanks rossmcg156

Replaced cache with smaller container. Now a 100ml camo container in same spot. Council had obviously done some trimming.
Stopped by just to check on the cache's whereabouts, in preparation for a planned cyclocache ride early in the new year. The GZ site was pretty obvious, but sadly there were only a few sticks indicating where the cache once was.
Had a little spare time today so came out caching this way. No problems locating this cache today. Thanks for the hide.
We were enjoying a walk along the beach and diverted along the access way to this cache. It was a quick find. TFTC.
I was on my bike today. I had left the vehicle at Novus getting my crack sorted and had the morning hooning around the city.
Hooned down some paths and side roads down to the beach. Nice quick find.
Thanks for the cache rossmcg156.

Nice easy find, caught by a "boarder " who I didn't hear coming. He wondered if I was OK. I cheerily said "Yes" TFTH
A quick and easy find. Thanks
Thanks to the CO's for placing and maintaining these caches. Cheers.

A quick overnight trip from Dunedin for friends’ birthdays. Had time to grab this before going out. Tftc
Added this cache to my walk at the beach and found it just in between of some muggles. Be aware of dog poop!

Struggled despite the update coords, but reading the description turned this into a smiley. TFTC
Came out for a beach wander and a cache with Mr8. Quick find and sign on the way past. Dropped tb back to be beside the ocean. Tide right in...way cool. Cheers.
My last job ended near here so had to take a look and made for a quick find on this cold afternoon. TFTH
A little afternoon jaunt and a nicely sized container. Great!! Alternative coords are spot on.Had the beach all to ourselves. Thanks.

A nice easy find. I didnt use the coordinates just used my geocaching sense and located the cach quite quickly. Tftc
Found it thanks to the coords supplied by Jess.daphne, I agree with S 43° 29.316' E 172° 43.465' (my phone makes that 129m out).
The find itself was easy, the sun was shining, a nice day to visit this side of the city.
I dropped a wee TB in the cache (it's easy to miss so I put it in the bag with the log book).
I've attached a screenshot of my app in satellite mode to show where the posted coords are (private property). I'd be happy to meet the CO sometime and help with getting coords on a phone (I do it these days).

Found with Jess.daphne's coords though my geoplacer app says the average position was: S 43° 29.315' E 172° 43.469'. Perhaps the CO could update these coords. Picked up Rincewind's TB to take to another Chch location. Thanks for the hide. A 23° day so very warm.
Awesome views of the ocean today Followed the description and not the coordinates - which are quite a way off and need updating. Seems like this cache has been busy today. Must be the warm weather. Dropped off a TB. Swapped some SWAG too. TFTC.
Coords sent us to Eros Place. Guessed from the description and had an easy find in the other direction. TFTC
Found this one based on description as coordinates are around 125m out. I have the coordinates around s43 29.316 e172 43.465. Pleased to have a {FTF}, Tftc!
Hi
1. I've read the guidelines.
2. The log contains a logbook pencil, sharpener and swaps.
3. The cache is in place ready to be found.
I used the GPS on my smartphone which is how I find the caches that I've logged. I have been back and checked again ab couple of times and get the same reading from any direction.
Not sure why you get it in the sea.
Cheers Ross
