This puzzle had me thinking a bit. It maybe shouldnt have been so tricky, but it wasnt something I had actually considered, so it took me a little too long to work it out. Then once I did, I had a face-palm moment. I should have realised that. The cache was found in a logical place. We signed the log ShaDup, for Shazzar66 and Duppers. Thanks, JACS Team, for the cache and all the work it must have taken to create the puzzles, the geoart and the placement.
Out with Duppers once this morning doing a few of the 65 roses.Quick find at this one. All good with is cache.I found your cache, 65 Roses - 30 today. Signed as team name, ShaDup.JACS Team, TFTC, TFTH & TFTSF
While passing through Kilcoy today we had some spare time so we went about and found a few puzzles and letterboxes that we had solved in this artwork. We had a few muggle cows across the road watching what we were up to. Other than that we found this one without any dramas. TFTC
We did a lot of research and puzzling in the run-up to our cacher tour around Kilcoy. We spent many hours solving them at home on this Geoart. We finally travelled to Kilcoy and looked for lots of roses in the beautiful countryside.Thank you for the beautiful Geoart and greetings from Team sissifalke
During the first lockdown in Melbourne, instead of making sourdough bread or starting a veggie garden like everyone else, I focused on solving puzzles.Very happy these are park & grabs. The heat is getting to us:)Thanks JACS Team for the variety of puzzles and the caches.
Today is day 2 up here in Kilcoy to do the Rose GeoArt. Everybody I know has done this GeoArt, when I was still working. Now that I have been retired for some years , I knew it was about time to do it. Started late morning and after 4 hours completed 27 caches. TFTC JACS Team
Found on a trip through Broken Hill, Tilpa, Bourke, Cunnamulla, Charleville, Tambo, Blackall and Barcaldine to attend the QOGM at Longreach, then to Emerald, Biloela, Monto, Gayndah and Kilcoy on my way to Brisbane for a few days before a return drive back to Adelaide. Thanks for the cache, and for the entertaining caching foray around Kilcoy JACS Team!
Out geocaching w Treasure Trakas and enjoying the lovely weather and gorgeous scenery. Apologies for the generic log however with the better part of the 65 Roses to find and log, cut and paste has beome a necessity. Thank you JACS Team for the effort in putting this series together.
Out for a day of caching with SusanDW. We had a great day, finding all the caches that we looked for. A day with no DNFs is always a great day. Thanks to the CO for this fantastic series.
We planned a family camping trip to Kilcoy a while ago, so I started solving the 65 Roses series in preparation. Combined a morning of caching in with the Yowie Parkrun, two of my favourite things. Thanks for bringing us here and maintaining.
Co ords puzzle solved at home, today as we were Driving past we thought I should sign this logSheet,
Signed log kingfisherau 9:50 am 27/7/2023 and replaced all as found,

This puzzle was only recently worked through in preparation for a visit like today, although it was a last-minute trip. I was able to solve this puzzle without too much difficulty, and the coordinates were put away ready for a future visit.
After parking the vehicle nearby and stopping at GZ, I took a small loop around before eventually finding the cache hidden away. As mentioned in the description, there wasn't a combination lock, but otherwise, the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks JACS Team for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
----------
During this extended weekend, it was a trip north to find the 65 Roses geoart in Kilcoy, followed by two days boating on Lake Somerset to defeat the Dark Side series joined with [GurTheWanderer](https://coord.info/PRWMPWQ) and [stairman1](https://coord.info/PR4R27Z).
Today, I headed north via Caboolture, and I made stops in D'Aguilar and Woodford, before stopping at Stoney Creek in Bellthorpe National Park. Towards the latter morning, I set off finding the *65 Roses* geoart concentrating on the eastern circuit via Mount Kilcoy first, before then heading north, and back into Kilcoy for lunch. After tackling the central geocaches, I proceeded west through Woolmar, before finishing the series via the southern stem. As I was staying in D'Aguilar tonight, I returned via Mount Archer and a detour into the northern section of D'Aguilar National Park. A nice and cool weather day for collecting this series, and most of the geocaches were in good condition.

With the kiddies at home Alyce and I decided to head to Kilcoy for a few hours to get started on the Rose.
We had a blast navigating the roads and enjoying the beautiful Somerset region. This place is truely breathtaking. I don’t know what it is, but I have a feeling it must be the country roads and getting away from everything, it’s something else. We don’t come here often, but we’re looking forward to returning to finish the series.
Thanks you JACS Team for the placement, puzzles, ongoing maintenance and for keeping this series alive.
Thanks for bringing us here.

JACS Team I found your cache 65 Roses - 30 on 22/3/2023, 11:25 am. This is my find 4857 and find # 6 today. Found it with the help of the hint. Very overgrown here. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
The girls looked at the weir while I found the cache. A few holidaymakers in 4WD’s drove past.
After parkrunning in Nanango, we passed through Kilcoy again with the aim of finding a few letterboxes.
What a year Sandyofthesea and I have had. We kitted out the Prado and took off from Perth, Western Australia at the start of April 2022 to travel more of Australia using geocaching as a guide to see the sights. We started with the Nullabour, Eyre and York Peninsulas, the Riverlands, visited family in Victoria and then back in SA it got cold. Flinders and the Oodnadatta Track was cold and we finally warmed up in Dalhousie Springs. The Alice beckoned and then change of plan and ended up tackling the Tanami Track to the Kimberley and Bungles Bungles. Territory Day in Darwin was unhinged - please try and do it! The Gulf, the coast and the car breaker ‘Old Tele Track’ to the top of Cape York. This is a must but it’s not easy! Eventually made it to Brisbane to get some fixes to the car….. let’s see where we end up.

We had planned a road trip to Queensland to visit family in 2021, but our travel plans were stalled due to border closures during the COVID-19 pandemic. Now that the world was trying to get back to a semi normal state, we decided to have another go at getting away from the cold and head up north for some sunshine and warmth.
Day 14 – Farewells were done in Nanango with family and now heading to more family in Morayfield collecting more caches along our journey.
Solved all these puzzles before our trip so decided to try and pick some up while we were passing through the area.
All caches were found in good condition unless otherwise mentioned.
Thanks JACS Team for the placements and keeping this hobby alive.

Stopping in Kilcoy for a few days. Having previously contacted the CO of 65 Roses, today we headed out to tackle a few more, well with great weather and an easy run we actually completed the series!
All caches logged by us have been refreshed/replaced and left in good condition, with notes sent to CO.

Found while heading back home to Adelaide after attending the Mega event at Townsville over Easter.
I ended up camping at Kilcoy for a couple of nights, attempting a few of the series late yesterday afternoon and most of the others today. Unfortunately the weather was not great with consistent, almost constant, light rain throughout the nights and days, but it wasn’t cold so not so bad for caching really.
I quite enjoyed solving the puzzles in this series in preparation for the trip but the caches weren’t so great. Many were missing, probably as a result of the recent flooding, and most are in need of maintenance. The coordinates and hints for a few were also a bit off, possibly due to cache creep.
Thanks JACS Team for the cache.

After a few days of knocking over some of these puzzle caches the time finally arrived to turn them into smileys. Headed out early on a gorgeous Saturday morning to work my way slowest through this fantastic piece of geo art.
Won’t finish them all today but look forward to coming back soon to complete the series.
Thanks to the co’s for the effort in placing an d maintaining this wonderful reason to explore this part of the world.

29/1/22 After staying at Somerset Camping ground for a few days and doing the Darkside of the cache series now heading back home direction. Grabbing the 65 Rose series while here and then back up the highway. TFTC SL Caching with Caitlyn1105
These caches were actually found quite a while ago, however, I was tagging along with Willis007 (not even aware that this geoart existed!). I love geoart so it didn't seem fair to rob myself (and the co) of not solving the puzzles that go with it. So, with permission, I am logging as I solve.
Now, stuck in isolation and struggling through day 12 of the dreaded Covid-19 virus, I have plenty of time to work through these puzzles (and harrass a friend for subtle or nuclear hints - thanks Peppa!)
I love how creatively every title was written for these puzzles. I am guessing this isn't the one, but the one with the combination lock brought back memories of the first day with Year 7 for many years. The first hour was timetabled "lock practice" and they were just like these.

After spending some time last week working out the last of the puzzles, in some cases with a little guidance, we decided it was time to come and finish off the Roses today.
The weather was not exactly being kind, with Kilcoy Creek flooding and closing the highway in the morning but we weren’t going to let a little water stop us.
The recent rains have also encouraged abundant growth along the roadsides which saw us needing to push our way through knee-high to head-high grass to access many of the hides.
By the end of the day we were pretty much saturated from the thighs down but at least the dreary day seemed to keep both the muggles and creepy crawlies somewhat at bay.
Smaller than I was expecting for some reason. Everything in good condition here. The engine we could hear from the nearby building seemed to be working hard today. TFTC JACS Team

Out on a caching day with Triple Turmoil, we headed up here to pick up some of the roses series.
I have been working on these puzzles for quite some time and collected a small portion of them last year. Today's target was to collect as many as we could, however, the Bruce Highway traffic ensured we had a late start.
A massive thank you to the CO who has put so much thought into an extremely well-themed cache series, the puzzles have been great to work on. Thank you also for placing and maintaining the caches.

With an unusual public holiday announced, a plan was hatched to return to Kilcoy with the goal of finishing the 65 Roses Geoart… we’d last been here in January… so with PirateLinda, Giraffe18, 2manytrailers, Catboy67 and Blkthunder we left home at stupid o’clock this morning in convoy arriving in Kilcoy at 8am… With six of us the caches didn’t stand a chance… logs signed in full or some combination of P, PL, G18, 2MT, CB67 & BT…
It’s only now at home I’ve read the instructions about the lock and realised it’s no longer required… a shame really… tftc…

Oh no, a previous incarnation was muggled, i understand only now.
Would have been cool to do another locked box, oh well.
Loved the little house across the water.
The letterbox's in this series i actually didn't solve till most of the puzzles were solved, simply because i didn't notice they needed solving.
All good in the end.
Big Thanks to all the JACS Team for working together to create this most epic geoart series !

Easter trip away with fitzy_1965 for the cacheQLD Dayboro Mega.
Decided to pack up and head north a day earlier as we were no longer dry in our tent. Teamed up with Albida33 and Smittengranny (signing as FAMS) to do the 65 Roses Geo-art and any others in-between before parting ways and caching our way to Maryborough where we will be based for three nights.
All caches were found in good condition unless otherwise stated.

24,378. Found with minniek on our Dayboro QLD MEGA Adventure trip. For today we also cached with albida33 and Smittengranny to form and sign as FAMS !
Day 7. Enough was enough. We decided that we had had enough of the rain at Dayboro, so we upped stumps a day early and started our journey up to Maryborough via The Roses Geo-Art and a couple more counties. Smittengranny and albida joined us for the Geo-Art. So after packing up the sodden campsite we headed north to Kilcoy after a final trip to the Dayboro Bakery. This was the next stop for the day. This was a quick find at GZ. Signed the log as FAMS, replaced the cache as found, then headed off to the next one.

Dayboro trip. Day 12. With the Mega officially over, there was another day of caching to be done in the region. Today it was Fitzy_1965, MinnieK and SmittenGranny who joined me for a trip to Kilcoy. We spent the morning finding the Roses series that had been solved before the trip away. A fun collection of town and country caching, in the heavy rain at some times. Happily the heavy rain came after the walk was completed. I returned to Dayboro for my last night and the others headed north for more travel. It has been a great experience caching in the region and with so much more to do I will have to visit again. Bring on the next Brisbane Mega !

Headed to Kilcoy for some flowers with BenM70 and Burgo78 on this wet day.
The area here will look fantastic when the sun comes out over all the green pastures, but today it was really a day to sit in front of a fire.

Signing the logs as BBK today to save space.

Finally, a real geocaching mission with an airplane flight, nights away, so many caches on the list and a road trip home! Flew up from CBR on 1 April with TikvaNZ to join Fox in Jox for a 5 day full-on mission centred around attending the Dayboro Mega event. Plan is to cache in around BNE, targeting old caches, virtuals, LBHs, Wherigos, DT combinations and anything else that takes our fancy and then start heading home Monday via as many counties as we can squeeze in. We have so many caches on the list we are unlikely to get them all, but we will try our best! Don’t care if it rains or snows - QLD here we come!

#10925 - 11:37:00 AM; Day seven of a road trip with Sol de lune as we head north for the CacheQLD - Dayboro Mega. After a second night in Esk, we packed up and headed off on our final leg to the Mega. High on the agenda for today was awaiting advice on the Brisbane lockdown and whether or not the Mega would actually go ahead, or whether we would be turning around and heading home early. While we waited, we set out to log the "65 Roses" geoart series in and around Kilcoy. The good news on the lockdown came between our fourth and fifth finds in the series, so we knew we had time to try and complete it before we headed to Dayboro. All up we had 60 finds and four DNFs for the series. Most of the finds were fairly straight forward, while some required a little more effort, reference to hints and/or earlier logs and/or the exercise of the geosenses. Enjoyed the variety of the puzzles and the hides. One left for the return journey to complete the series. Apologies for the generic logs. TFTC JACS Team
Day 7 of the trip north with LuckyL10n and today saw us leaving Esk and heading to Dayboro....and finally the cacheQLD Mega. Luckily the event has now got the go ahead and all is good....
Our plan for the day was this series and we simply took our time and got around the caches without to many issues. 4 DNF's in there, but that still meant over 60 finds.
Thanks for the caches and the reason to check out the area JACs Team....

We didn't get off to a great start on this one as we had a couple of DNF's early but we got better as we got into the trail. We only had time for a few of these but we can say that we enjoyed the variety of hides and except for the dnf's found them to be relatively quick finds. We did find one of the field puzzles and did enjoy that.
At the mega we were told more about the meaning of the 65 roses and thought that it was a lovely idea for a series.
Thanks JACS Team we will have to finish this series off on another visit, please excuse the generic log as all our notes for this series were drowned at Dayboro and we now know our camper has a small leak.

Unfortunately plan A wasn’t able to happen today so that meant I needed a plan B. Having just had some help finishing the puzzles for this geoart, I took the opportunity to turn some of them into smileys. It was a great day driving around Kilcoy making the finds, I didn’t get them all but made a very good dent.

One of the caches solved on the off chance our visit to Kilcoy involved enough time for some caching. Always good to find a letterbox cache. TFTC and the puzzle JACS Team.

Lake Somerset Trip - Day 6
After a delayed start to the day (after 2 big days on the lake), our aim was to cherry pick a number of the 65 roses powertrail. Managed to avoid the drizzle for most of the afternoon. Trying to get my letterbox count up to 100 and this little group of 8 will definitely help.

After finishing the Dark Side of the Cache early, TARDIS0061, crash2079 and I headed out to find some Roses.
An easy solve. Crash and I teamed up to access the logbook.

Another Letterbox cache that we had solved. An easy find once we parked at the nearby GZ.

First day in Kilcoy. We're here to smell the roses, and so far the caches we found are well placed - and they are a joy to find. At our last location we had to wade through head high grass, dodging cobblers pegs, bindeis and spider webs for most caches.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache within a few metres of where our GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Nothing
Thank you for adding to our adventure.

Ian & Penny

With solved coordinates loaded up we headed to Kilcoy to pick up more smileys in the Roses series. It was a hot day so we were pleased to be in the aircon in the car for a lot of the day. This is a cache we found. We were quite intrigued by the little house opposite GZ. We signed the log and replaced it as found. Thanks JACS Team for the variety of puzzles and the caches.
Tftc JACS Team, great series, loved the variety of puzzles and difficulty. Puzzles solved now, with some needing a call to the brains trust for help. In the area for a few days to collect the smilies.
Day 2, hope to finish off picking up the roses today. Appreciation for your work in making the puzzles and taking the time to maintain all the caches

Out today on a mission with OBC and mini-OBC. Swung by here for the next of over 120 finds today. We enjoyed the Roses immensely, being decent puzzles and good hides with parking spots (mostly) and accurate coords.
Thanks JACS Team for entertaining me at this location.

Out and about on a power trail today - targeting the Roses geoart (wahoo! highly recommended), the Potter Puzzles geoart, and the Hamilton power trail. It was a long but fantastic day with myself, Pprime (P') and mini oz_bean_counter, and the logs were signed as OP'X to reflect this. Started at 4 am with a check on the US election progress, in the car by 4.45 am and the first cache by 5.30 am. Home and dead tired 12 hours later, where wine and pizza were necessary to refuel the body before I crashed for the night. I was delighted to end the day with 124 finds (plus 5 DNFs, and revisited 2 caches) - a new daily record for me. I was really really happy to be celebrating that achievement with family and good friends.
Thanks for all the COs for their time and effort in placing and maintaining these caches. Apologies for the generic log.

This has been a fun long solving geo art puzzles. Enjoyed them all or maybe we should say some thank you signing with our gang DeafPVC
With a planned weekend caching trip to grab the nearby dark series, I had today to make my way up to Kilcoy and grab a few of the rose’s series. A planned meet up with my “bud” team tyrrell for drinks at 6.00pm meant I had 3 hours to grab a few beforehand. Having solved a lot of these a few months prior and a few more over the last week it was time to see my achievements.
I was pretty excited to be out and getting into this series, I managed to get 30 of the series today and a couple of DNF’s, which I informed the CO about. There were some funny and different caches in this series and I wish I had been around when the original caches were placed. With the caches found I signed the log and replaced as found or better placed as a few were in the open or not attached as hint suggested.
Time to head to my camp ground and get ready for the weekend’s events. Thank you to the CO for this series.

This one took far longer than it should have. Geocacher blindness kicked in until I just decided to be logical LOL
All good with this cache.
We're up grabbing a few more of the roses and enjoying the scenery and the laughs.

My Muggle husband and i decided to go for a country drive and find some caches . this was our second find for today and we found a park really close and admired how green it was compared to our last drive. Took a photo of the green grass here, the cows all seem happy on our drive. At gz my husband stayed in the car while i went around to wrong place at first before i spotted the hide. When Bear 0503 and i solved this it was the first type of this kind of puzzle we had seen and since then we have used it a bit. Thanks for the fun
Yay, that last one we needed to complete this wonderful series. Thanks JACS Team for placing and maintaining this for our enjoyment. . TNLNSL TFTC .
On a holiday to Queensland to meet up with gridge98 for a few days and travel around the country side checking out new places and also collect a few caches along the way.

This series was solved before departure from Adelaide and was on the cards for today, we managed to find about 1/3 of the caches before DNFing 2 so after that we left it as we knew we would have to return to complete it one day.
Most of the caches are in good condition although some of the field puzzles were broken and some of the caches were missing bits and pieces of there containers.
Overall a good series and a bit of fun.
On a holiday to Queensland to meet up with my two younger brothers (JL Rockstar) for a holiday/caching trip, a 4 day adventure that started with some disasters but slowly got better throughout which ended on a high.
Travelling up to tin can bay and Gympie, our to Kilroy and south west out to Ipswich.
Overall a great trip away with a total of 79 finds excluding the almost 50 labs found.
Thanks for the cache and it’s placement.

I hadn't used this puzzle solving technique before. Worked a treat! I was still logging our last find when Krcamber exited the car and disappeared from view. It wasn’t long before she returned with a smile. Yay! Thanks for the puzzle and letter box cache
I spent the last morning of our Sunshine Coast holiday out in the country, tackling the second "half" of the 65 Roses geo-art. I thoroughly enjoyed the scenic drive this series took me on and my thanks go to Jacs Team for putting together this geo-art series for us all to enjoy.
Early start to the series this morning. Quickly grabbed the Trads before collecting the fruits of our efforts the past few months! Thanks for all the help and being the navigator Simba15

Scratched around like a couple of bush turkeys, but no luck today. We will be back.
Today we tackled this series, with an early start we worked our way around the country side finding the solved puzzles.
Cache and contents were in good condition.

TFTC. Teamed up with snakepiters to both solve and find these caches. Great bunch of puzzles to solve and get some new skills up. Have loved reading the story behind these caches.
Now only a day away from home and stopped by here to complete the Roses Geoart. Staying at the Showgrounds and dodging the rain clouds today. Teamed up with Cheekybum_15 to do the Kilcoy caches.

My mission today was to try and find as many of the Roses series caches as I could. Apologies first for the cut / paste logs. I don't usually like to do that but make the odd exceptions for power trails and cache series like this. I will try to call out anything that stood out for me. I noticed this geoart series when I was passing through the area about a month ago. I was pretty sure that I would have to come back so tried to find time to solve as many of the puzzles as I could. This week I was back in the area for work so set today aside to get out and do some serious caching. A familiar puzzle that was quickly solved and another letterbox opened. TFTC, Biggles.
I was out for a drive in the country after my morn ing brew and headed for an event at Esk and decided to grab a few caches in the Roses series on my way past and this was one of them.
Once at GZ it was a short search and the cache was soon in hand.
Once the log was signed all was returned as found.
