Gayndah to MundubberaCamping overnight at the showgroundsIt's so nice to be caching in the country side. Some lovely scenery in the area.Passed many different types of fruit growing in the area. Thanks for hiding this cache.
Heading out to seek the Auburn cache and enjoying a few stops along the way with each of the Hawkwood trail caches. Thanks
Hi there coral.sea.cat, we found your cache Hawkwood Trail #3 today. Were camping at Eidsvold Showgrounds for a few days with a caravanning group from RV Homebase, and have taken the opportunity to duck out and find a few caches while we are here. That site is crawling with ants. We managed to brush all of them off and none had got inside the container. Coordinate Accuracy: We found this cache near where our GPS said we should be looking. Cache Condition: Good. Regards Ian & Penny (Found and logged using Cachly).
Today was all about efficiency as i embarked on a park and grab drive-by cache adventure along the power trail. The caches were lined up, waiting for eager geocachers like me to log my find. I stopped by this cache as part of a power trail adventure, and it was a quick and easy find. The cache was exactly where I expected it to be, thanks to the accurate coordinates. Thanks to the cache owner for placing this cache along the trail. It's a great addition to the power trail and made for a convenient stop on our geocaching journey. Trade: We didn't make a trade at this particular cache since it was more about the quick find and go. Trackable: We didn't find any trackables in this cache, but we'll keep an eye out for them as we continue our journey along the power trail. Quick Stop: This cache made for a perfect quick stop while on the power trail. We appreciate the convenience and the chance to add another find to our geocaching stats. Thanks to the cache owner for maintaining this cache. We're off to the next one along the power trail. Happy caching!
Nice and crisp morning. Plenty of low laying fog. Roos bouncing around and citrus workers jammed into hiace vans off to work the farms. TFTC.
Tftc coral.sea.cat, it is always nice to have a drive in the country with a few caches to collect.
Been a while since they were found, so nice to see they are in good condition.

Found it after a wet visit to the auburn river to see a rare event it flowing but we couldn’t cross the river to get the cache there so we are doing this hawkwood trail on the way back
A great parking area for this cache. Quick jump out of the car and cache in signed and we’re back on the road to the National Park
Taking our time to take a longer road home than usual. We don't normally do trails but decided to do this one and pop in for a look at Auburn Gorge.
#3 was a quick easy find.

After camping overnight in Kilkivan I headed north today and stopped to grab some caches allong the way. No problems finding the caches and once the logs were signed all were returned as found.
If a cache needed attention that was done too.

We were needing a torch by now, the sun having totally set as we cruised back from auburn. a quick spot of night caching then back in the geomobile to the last in the series.... or the first if you don't do them backwards and/or jumbled up. No matter, cheers coral.sea.cat!
Time to head back up this way. Should only be about 6 hours up and find and home. Left Nanango at 0500 and home again at 12noon. Drove up to Gayndah about 1.45 hours then up the back way to Mundubbera to Hawkwood Road then home via town and the Burnett Highway.
Arrived close to GZ and saw what was the obvious spot and the co ordinates are very accurate. Soon spied the container. Very Quick find. All is good here. TFTC Coral.sea.cat

Yay! Woohoo! We saw some of this series of caches pop us a few days ago and headed down this way to see if we could manage to be the (FTF). Each of the caches was very easy to find, especially as the info on the cache page was very specific and clear.
It was a pleasure to open the cache and find an as yet unsigned log sheet. We were very happy to start the list of finders off, especially as we are on a FTF streak which now stands at 30 months.
Thank you to coral.sea.cat for extending this series and giving us this opportunity.
As they are (FTF) caches for us, we are giving each one a favourite point.
