We did a lot of research and puzzling in the run-up to our cacher tour around Kilcoy. We spent many hours solving them at home on this Geoart. We finally travelled to Kilcoy and looked for lots of roses in the beautiful countryside.Thank you for the beautiful Geoart and greetings from Team sissifalke
During the first lockdown in Melbourne, instead of making sourdough bread or starting a veggie garden like everyone else, I focused on solving puzzles. Thanks to the hint, it was a nice quick find. Thanks JACS Team for the variety of puzzles and the caches.
Today is day 2 up here in Kilcoy to do the Rose GeoArt. Everybody I know has done this GeoArt, when I was still working. Now that I have been retired for some years , I knew it was about time to do it. Started late morning and after 4 hours completed 27 caches. TFTC JACS Team
Out with TBU1BIKESU and muggle brother Siggi to get more smiles. We found the container and signed the log.Tftc JACS Team
We went out on a beautiful autumn day to pick the remaining 12 roses to finalize the geoart. We found this cache and signed the log.Tftc JACS Team
My caching buddy Susan DW was back in town for a short visit so a quick plan was made to find the rest of the Kilcoy Roses. Despite the heatwave conditions we managed to keep our cool and found all but one of the caches we looked for today. Thanks to JACS team and to any other teams who are helping with the maintenance of this great series. And a big thanks to JACS team for the extra help they gave us today.
3rd time lucky for myself and TreasureTrakas to complete this 65 roses Geoart. Beautiful area Kilcoy and we enjoyed getting into all the backroads that weve not been to before. Even though it was hot today our dogged persistance kept us at it. Thank you JACS Team for the huge effort in placing it. Unfortunately 1 DNF stands in our way of completion at the end of the day.
Found on a trip through Broken Hill, Tilpa, Bourke, Cunnamulla, Charleville, Tambo, Blackall and Barcaldine to attend the QOGM at Longreach, then to Emerald, Biloela, Monto, Gayndah and Kilcoy on my way to Brisbane for a few days before a return drive back to Adelaide. Thanks for the cache, and for the entertaining caching foray around Kilcoy JACS Team!
Did the puzzle previously and today were out to find the logbook.
Signed log kingfisherau 9:05 am 27/7/2023 and replaced all as found,

This puzzle was only recently worked through in preparation for a visit like today, although it was a last-minute trip. I hadn't heard of S65, but some research and Googling allowed this clever solve.
I parked the vehicle and jumped out to then spend 5-10 minutes searching between trees in this knee/waist-high grass/bushland. I thought I had exhausted the nearby roadside trees, so I darted between other trees searching where the hint suggested, and eventually I managed to find the cache in a much easier and previously searched spot, go figure. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks JACS Team for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

During this extended weekend, it was a trip north to find the 65 Roses geoart in Kilcoy, followed by two days boating on Lake Somerset to defeat the Dark Side series joined with [GurTheWanderer](https://coord.info/PRWMPWQ) and [stairman1](https://coord.info/PR4R27Z).
Today, I headed north via Caboolture, and I made stops in D'Aguilar and Woodford, before stopping at Stoney Creek in Bellthorpe National Park. Towards the latter morning, I set off finding the *65 Roses* geoart concentrating on the eastern circuit via Mount Kilcoy first, before then heading north, and back into Kilcoy for lunch. After tackling the central geocaches, I proceeded west through Woolmar, before finishing the series via the southern stem. As I was staying in D'Aguilar tonight, I returned via Mount Archer and a detour into the northern section of D'Aguilar National Park. A nice and cool weather day for collecting this series, and most of the geocaches were in good condition.

With the kiddies at home Alyce and I decided to head to Kilcoy for a few hours to get started on the Rose.
We had a blast navigating the roads and enjoying the beautiful Somerset region. This place is truely breathtaking. I don’t know what it is, but I have a feeling it must be the country roads and getting away from everything, it’s something else. We don’t come here often, but we’re looking forward to returning to finish the series.
Thanks you JACS Team for the placement, puzzles, ongoing maintenance and for keeping this series alive.
Thanks for bringing us here.

OMG...I found these, probably last year now with Willis007 but said I would solve all the puzzles before actually logging them. About a month ago I put them on my Must-Do list and now I am finally here,. Today is the day. I am going to finish these as puzzles were all solved in January when I was stuck in bed with covid for about a month. Peppa was my constant go with with a hint (or sometimes 7....)
Definitely needed hints for this one.

We had planned a road trip to Queensland to visit family in 2021, but our travel plans were stalled due to border closures during the COVID-19 pandemic. Now that the world was trying to get back to a semi normal state, we decided to have another go at getting away from the cold and head up north for some sunshine and warmth.
Day 14 – Farewells were done in Nanango with family and now heading to more family in Morayfield collecting more caches along our journey.
Solved all these puzzles before our trip so decided to try and pick some up while we were passing through the area.
All caches were found in good condition unless otherwise mentioned.
Thanks JACS Team for the placements and keeping this hobby alive.

Stopping in Kilcoy for a few days. Having previously contacted the CO of 65 Roses, today we headed out to tackle a few more, well with great weather and an easy run we actually completed the series!
All caches logged by us have been refreshed/replaced and left in good condition, with notes sent to CO.

The series has had a refresh post floods thanks to FelixII. This one is good to go again.
Found while heading back home to Adelaide after attending the Mega event at Townsville over Easter.
I ended up camping at Kilcoy for a couple of nights, attempting a few of the series late yesterday afternoon and most of the others today. Unfortunately the weather was not great with consistent, almost constant, light rain throughout the nights and days, but it wasn’t cold so not so bad for caching really.
I quite enjoyed solving the puzzles in this series in preparation for the trip but the caches weren’t so great. Many were missing, probably as a result of the recent flooding, and most are in need of maintenance. The coordinates and hints for a few were also a bit off, possibly due to cache creep.
Thanks JACS Team for the puzzle and the cache.

With 8 of the 65 Roses left to find, and a spare day off, I decided it was time to head out and finish the series. With geopup on board, we headed to Kilcoy.
It took a bit of time to get on the right track to solve this puzzle, but once I found the right source of material, the numbers were easily found.
The cache was also quickly found today.
Thanks JACS Team for the great series and cache.

After spending some time last week working out the last of the puzzles, in some cases with a little guidance, we decided it was time to come and finish off the Roses today.
The weather was not exactly being kind, with Kilcoy Creek flooding and closing the highway in the morning but we weren’t going to let a little water stop us.
The recent rains have also encouraged abundant growth along the roadsides which saw us needing to push our way through knee-high to head-high grass to access many of the hides.
By the end of the day we were pretty much saturated from the thighs down but at least the dreary day seemed to keep both the muggles and creepy crawlies somewhat at bay.
Fun fact: my dad developed a suite of software programs for the Kilcoy meatworks decades ago when I was still a young lass. Cache was found nice and quickly. The container has seen better days but I reassembled it and wrapped it and it should be fine. TFTC JACS Team

Found with Peppa, Giraffe ?? 18, 2manytrailers, blkthunder and Catboy67 on our Mega day of attempting to do the entire Rose series. Wish us luck????
With an unusual public holiday announced, a plan was hatched to return to Kilcoy with the goal of finishing the 65 Roses Geoart… we’d last been here in January… so with PirateLinda, Giraffe18, 2manytrailers, Catboy67 and Blkthunder we left home at stupid o’clock this morning in convoy arriving in Kilcoy at 8am… With six of us the caches didn’t stand a chance… logs signed in full or some combination of P, PL, G18, 2MT, CB67 & BT…
I didn’t like this GZ one bit… and I managed to go round so many times that Catboy67 came to join me, thinking I couldn’t find it… which is exactly when I found it… tftc…

I really enjoyed the diversity of the different cyphers and languages on offer in the who am i puzzles, and they were done generally over the course of several months.
Unlike the find which was immediately upon arrival.
I can almost smell the beer from here.
Thanks JACS Team for coming up with not just a variety of puzzles, but containers too. A shame the field puzzle parts were out, and i counted two mint tins ,
But still an awesome day out.

Easter trip away with fitzy_1965 for the cacheQLD Dayboro Mega.
Decided to pack up and head north a day earlier as we were no longer dry in our tent. Teamed up with Albida33 and Smittengranny (signing as FAMS) to do the 65 Roses Geo-art and any others in-between before parting ways and caching our way to Maryborough where we will be based for three nights.
All caches were found in good condition unless otherwise stated. Clip broken so lid doesn’t stay shut. Wet inside.

24,388. Found with minniek on our Dayboro QLD MEGA Adventure trip. For today we also cached with albida33 and Smittengranny to form and sign as FAMS !
Day 7. Enough was enough. We decided that we had had enough of the rain at Dayboro, so we upped stumps a day early and started our journey up to Maryborough via The Roses Geo-Art and a couple more counties. Smittengranny and albida joined us for the Geo-Art. So after packing up the sodden campsite we headed north to Kilcoy after a final trip to the Dayboro Bakery. This was the next stop for the day. This was a quick find at GZ. Signed the log as FAMS, replaced the cache as found, then headed off to the next one.

Dayboro trip. Day 12. With the Mega officially over, there was another day of caching to be done in the region. Today it was Fitzy_1965, MinnieK and SmittenGranny who joined me for a trip to Kilcoy. We spent the morning finding the Roses series that had been solved before the trip away. A fun collection of town and country caching, in the heavy rain at some times. Happily the heavy rain came after the walk was completed. I returned to Dayboro for my last night and the others headed north for more travel. It has been a great experience caching in the region and with so much more to do I will have to visit again. Bring on the next Brisbane Mega !

Left the Mega and headed to Kilcoy for some flowers with BenM70 and Burgo78 on this wet day.
The area here will look fantastic when the sun comes out over all the green pastures, but today it was really a day to sit in front of a fire. Instead of a fire, I kept the car heater on a bit to keep us warm.
Signing the logs as BBK today to save space.

#10932 - 12:38:00 PM; Day seven of a road trip with Sol de lune as we head north for the CacheQLD - Dayboro Mega. After a second night in Esk, we packed up and headed off on our final leg to the Mega. High on the agenda for today was awaiting advice on the Brisbane lockdown and whether or not the Mega would actually go ahead, or whether we would be turning around and heading home early. While we waited, we set out to log the "65 Roses" geoart series in and around Kilcoy. The good news on the lockdown came between our fourth and fifth finds in the series, so we knew we had time to try and complete it before we headed to Dayboro. All up we had 60 finds and four DNFs for the series. Most of the finds were fairly straight forward, while some required a little more effort, reference to hints and/or earlier logs and/or the exercise of the geosenses. Enjoyed the variety of the puzzles and the hides. One left for the return journey to complete the series. Apologies for the generic logs. TFTC JACS Team
Day 7 of the trip north with LuckyL10n and today saw us leaving Esk and heading to Dayboro....and finally the cacheQLD Mega. Luckily the event has now got the go ahead and all is good....
Our plan for the day was this series and we simply took our time and got around the caches without to many issues. 4 DNF's in there, but that still meant over 60 finds.
Thanks for the caches and the reason to check out the area JACs Team....

We didn't get off to a great start on this one as we had a couple of DNF's early but we got better as we got into the trail. We only had time for a few of these but we can say that we enjoyed the variety of hides and except for the dnf's found them to be relatively quick finds. We did find one of the field puzzles and did enjoy that.
At the mega we were told more about the meaning of the 65 roses and thought that it was a lovely idea for a series.
Thanks JACS Team we will have to finish this series off on another visit, please excuse the generic log as all our notes for this series were drowned at Dayboro and we now know our camper has a small leak.

Unfortunately plan A wasn’t able to happen today so that meant I needed a plan B. Having just had some help finishing the puzzles for this geoart, I took the opportunity to turn some of them into smileys. It was a great day driving around Kilcoy making the finds, I didn’t get them all but made a very good dent.

From memory this puzzle took a bit to solve. The cache container was found easily enough, but does need repair. Thanks for the puzzle and the hide.
First day in Kilcoy. We're here to smell the roses, and so far the caches we found are well placed - and they are a joy to find. At our last location we had to wade through head high grass, dodging cobblers pegs, bindeis and spider webs for most caches.

**Cache Condition:** The container is broken. The log is in good shape.

Out and about on a power trail today - targeting the Roses geoart (wahoo! highly recommended), the Potter Puzzles geoart, and the Hamilton power trail. It was a long but fantastic day with myself, Pprime (P') and mini oz_bean_counter, and the logs were signed as OP'X to reflect this. Started at 4 am with a check on the US election progress, in the car by 4.45 am and the first cache by 5.30 am. Home and dead tired 12 hours later, where wine and pizza were necessary to refuel the body before I crashed for the night. I was delighted to end the day with 124 finds (plus 5 DNFs, and revisited 2 caches) - a new daily record for me. I was really really happy to be celebrating that achievement with family and good friends.

With a planned weekend caching trip to grab the nearby dark series, I had today to make my way up to Kilcoy and grab a few of the rose’s series. A planned meet up with my “bud” team tyrrell for drinks at 6.00pm meant I had 3 hours to grab a few beforehand. Having solved a lot of these a few months prior and a few more over the last week it was time to see my achievements.
I was pretty excited to be out and getting into this series, I managed to get 30 of the series today and a couple of DNF’s, which I informed the CO about. There were some funny and different caches in this series and I wish I had been around when the original caches were placed. With the caches found I signed the log and replaced as found or better placed as a few were in the open or not attached as hint suggested.
Time to head to my camp ground and get ready for the weekend’s events. Thank you to the CO for this series.

Time to head to my camp ground and get ready for the weekend’s events. Thank you to the CO for this series.
I do wonder what people think I'm doing, crouching down at the side of the road. Accidentally dated my log 17th instead of 7th. TFTC JACS Team.
Another Great day out doors to do this series.
Gotcha at last.
Great day, great weather, great caches.

My Muggle husband and i decided to go for a country drive and find some caches . we admired how green it was compared to our last drive. My husband dropped me off here to find a place to park while i searched and soon came up with the goodies. This puzzle took a little research to solve and it was fun. thanks for all the fun .
On a holiday to Queensland to meet up with gridge98 for a few days and travel around the country side checking out new places and also collect a few caches along the way.
Apologies for the generic log.

This series was solved before departure from Adelaide and was on the cards for today, we managed to find about 1/3 of the caches before DNFing 2 so after that we left it as we knew we would have to return to complete it one day.
Most of the caches are in good condition although some of the field puzzles were broken and some of the caches were missing bits and pieces of there containers.
Overall a good series and a bit of fun.
On a holiday to Queensland to meet up with my two younger brothers (JL Rockstar) for a holiday/caching trip, a 4 day adventure that started with some disasters but slowly got better throughout which ended on a high.
Travelling up to tin can bay and Gympie, our to Kilroy and south west out to Ipswich.
Overall a great trip away with a total of 79 finds excluding the almost 50 labs found.
Thanks for the cache and it’s placement.

Swearah was onto the answers for this puzzle. I jumped out and made a quick find at GZ. Onwards!! TFTC!
My detective skills were on point for this puzzle and I soon had some good numbers.
Krcamber made the find at GZ. We’re trying to get as many done before the sun goes down. Go go go! TFTPC

I spent the last morning of our Sunshine Coast holiday out here in the country, tackling the second "half" of the 65 Roses geo-art. I thoroughly enjoyed the scenic drive this series took me on and my thanks go to Jacs Team for putting together this nice geo-art series for us all to enjoy.
Early start to the series this morning. Quickly grabbed the Trads before collecting the fruits of our efforts the past few months! Thanks for all the help and being the navigator Simba15

An early but foggy start today heading to Kilcoy, collected various caches & coords spot on which was so nice thanks Jacs Team SL TFTC
After battling with [B)] and finally solving the last few puzzles, today was the perfect day to head back to the hillsides around Kilcoy and pick up the last few Roses . Coords are all spot on and most were found quickly, though we did leave a couple of blue sad faces behind. A fun day was had and many thanks to JACS Team for an excellent series of puzzles, caches, hides and adventures. TNLNSL TFTC .
Today we tackled this series, with an early start we worked our way around the country side finding the solved puzzles.
Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks JACS Team for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

TFTC. Teamed up with snakepiters to both solve and find these caches. Great bunch of puzzles to solve and get some new skills up. Have loved reading the story behind these caches.
Now only a day away from home and stopped by here to complete the Roses Geoart. Staying at the Showgrounds and dodging the rain clouds today. Teamed up with Cheekybum_15 to do the Kilcoy caches.

Spending Christmas camping at Wyvenhoe Dam with sone of the family, and Say Wot? and I decided to spend the morning on the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail. Having done some of this trail before, I knew what I was in for, bit it was all new to my companion! We managed a heap of the Roos, and even an emu or two. We also managed to snag two jetski's that had eluded my puzzle solving ability. A great morning all up, fwith no DNF's (that's always good!).Afetr completing aour allotted caches we headed back the way we had come, and on the last dip before the car I went too fast and popped a tyre tube on the bike. A short walk back to the car.
Thanks oce again for the fun.

Crookedpete was the inspiration behind our trip to Kilcoy today. With his cache count odometer slowly ticking its way towards 5000, he was keen for a sugar hit to his finds tally. I have been eyeing off this series of caches on and off for a while now, and CP's need was the impetus to get us out here. Before we could though we had to set about solving some puzzles. I had a few solutions already stored away but a mad bout of puzzle solving was required in the week before departure. I managed to solve all but a few, with the others in the Bromanceketeers filling the gaps.
An enjoyable day was had by all and our tally of caches was equalled by our haul of recyclable containers which we picked up along the roadside at each cache. We signed the logbbook with "Bromance" to save space not to mention time and our sanity. Thank you for your efforts in laying this trail of caches.

With plans being tentatively formulated for my next milestone, I needed to get a few numbers under the belt (lest the entire year slips away before I get to said milestone.)
Despite all of the Bromance (Seffnjarah, Swellerfungus and myself) having lost our power trail mojo, Seffnjarah suggested the Kilcoy rose series for a morning Bromance road trip. With a hot day forecast, we hit the road early at SeffnStupid o'clock and had the first cache completed just as the sun peaked over the horizon. The last for the day was signed before noon.
The series had a good variety of clever hides - difference styles of micros were found on both the left and right hand side of various road signs, the occasional ammo can made an appearance, we managed a few simple tree climbs and the best of all - we managed to collect three rarer large size caches today! Hooray!
Along the way, we all collectively did our part for the environment and CITO'd a good size bin full of cans, plastic and glass bottles from almost every cache we visited. The tally for the day was 65 containers recycled (one for every rose!). With thanks to the cash for cans scheme, the Bromance slush fund balance now sits at $6.50, which should buy about 4 litres of diesel. Doesn't sound too impressive, but we were collectively proud of our efforts.
Am not a fan of boy bands nor country music, but I managed to solve this puzzle easily enough. Logs were mostly signed "Bromance" to save space. Many thanks JACS Team for placing this cache.

A bit of searching from the armchair at home late one night some months ago, and we soon had a good looking set of coordinates. Nice to have solved another puzzle in this series. Out on the road today, and all is quiet here at GZ even the rain clouds seem to be disappearing, at least for a while.
All good here with the container and logbook. We have added our name.
Thanks JACS Team,

Rolling back to Brissy after an overnight stay out west and a break in the clouds. Much cooler today and happy to report we have had rain at Cooyar Kilcoy a perfect break in the drive and trying to crack 5k for the Mega, which may or may not happen
No probs with the puzzles and most were fun and solved easily. Neat little puzzle! Can’t wait to get off this road as way too much traffic and narrow verge.

TFTC smile 4115 out and about with miss Millie geo dog picking the last few roses Thank you Jacs Team for placing this cache for our enjoyment
It has been some time since we found our first few roses, and it is only now that we have been able to come back out this way with a little time to spare, to enable us to find the remainder of the beautiful bunch While most of the puzzles were relatively easy to solve, there were others though that had us tearing our hair out trying to figure out where on earth to start Yes, you can certainly get by with a little help from your friends
Speaking of beautiful bunches, our admiration goes out to your sons and your whole family as you all seem to always have a smile on your faces, even through the hardest of times. We hope your series of caches does raise some awareness and everything will come up roses for the future [^]
Thank you JACS Team for having placed the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

Boxing Day and the 28th of Dec were our days to complete and finalize this beautiful series. A day of inspiring music and drinks at Woodford in between sweetened this geoart. Thanks for all the efforts and great variety of puzzles and cache locations / types. We are very familiar with all the roads around the township now as we drove most of them twice and the farmers started greeting us when they saw our little blue car.
